It remains a structured wine, with a full feel, lively acidity, soft to silky tannins and a long finish where liquorice and tertiary notes continue to unfold.

Product info about Tenuta Di Nozzole Il Pareto 1999
Il Pareto 1999 is a distinctive wine within the Tenuta di Nozzole story. The estate is based in Greve in Chianti, in the Chianti Classico area, yet this bottling deliberately steps outside the classical Chianti Classico framework. It is a Toscana IGT made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Pareto vineyard.That places Il Pareto firmly in the estate's Supertuscan line. The first vintage was 1987, and the wine is produced only in selected years. For 1999, the producer notes that Cabernet Sauvignon reached good maturity, with the grapes harvested fully ripe in the second half of October.
Fermentation was temperature-controlled, with at least 15 to 18 days of skin contact, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine then spent 15 to 18 months in French oak barriques and at least 6 months in bottle before release. Production is listed at around 20,000 bottles.
