Quinta Do Vesuvio Cellar Release 2015 Incl. Box
In stock
Quinta Do Vesuvio Cellar Release 2015 is a Portuguese red wine from the Douro Superior with a story that goes beyond a standard vintage release. Part of the original 2015 stock was kept back by the producer under cellar conditions and released later as a limited Cellar Release of around 2,400 individually numbered bottles.
The wine comes from the historic Quinta do Vesúvio estate, where the house, chapel and winery were built in 1827. Its blend is led by Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, with a small share of Tinta Amarela. The fruit comes from estate parcels at altitude and with western exposure, including Quinta Nova, Vale da Teja and the terraced Castelos vineyard.
There is a clear sense of serious Douro structure here. The grapes were (…)Limoncello Sparkler Cocktail (Limonio + Loron Cremant)

Limoncello Sparkler Cocktail (Limonio + Loron Cremant)

This Limoncello Sparkler Cocktail set is built around a bright, uncomplicated aperitif idea: Limonio Limoncello served with sparkling wine. The set combines two bottles of Loron Crémant with one bottle of Limonio Limoncello, giving you the essentials for a fresh sparkling cocktail.
The serve is deliberately easy. Pour around 2 cl of limoncello into a champagne glass and top with 12 cl of sparkling wine, cava or champagne. That keeps the limoncello clearly present while leaving the drink light in style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like this set because it makes a festive aperitif feel effortless. Finish with a few mint leaves if you want an extra fresh accent in the glass.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like sets like this because they make the occasion easy to picture. Pour around 2 cl of Ruby Port, add 12 cl of sparkling wine, cava or champagne, and the Ruby Sparkler is ready. In this set, the Loron Crémant is already included, so the combination is prepared for you.
For a more festive presentation, a few raspberries on a skewer can be added to the glass. It is a simple way to serve something different as an aperitif or welcome drink, (…)Your benefit: € 2,74 / 6%

Glenglassaugh Royale Cocktail (Glenglassaugh + Loron Cremant)

The Glenglasaugh Royale Cocktail is a set built around a different way of serving whisky. It brings together a 12-year-old Scottish Speyside whisky with Loron Crémant, or another sparkling wine, alongside lemon juice and honey water.
Its charm lies in the way the whisky is lifted rather than hidden. The Speyside whisky forms the base, lemon adds a bright edge, honey water softens the drink, and the sparkling wine or champagne gives the Royale its celebratory feel.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good conversation starter for anyone who wants to serve whisky in a fresher, more festive style. Prepared in a tall glass and finished with a piece of lemon peel on the rim, it has the feel of a carefully made cocktail without becoming (…)Your benefit: € 1,64 / 2%

Quinta Do Vesuvio 2021
In stock
Quinta do Vesuvio 2021 is a dry red wine from Portugal's Douro Superior, produced at Quinta do Vesúvio. It is the estate's flagship dry Douro red, alongside the Vintage Ports for which the property is historically known. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a serious, structured Douro wine shaped as much by its site as by the notably cool 2021 growing season.
The blend is led by Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional, with a small addition of Tinta Amarela. The grapes were hand-harvested, carefully sorted and moved by gravity into small fermentation tanks. After fermentation, extended maceration helped build structure and mouthfeel, followed by 15 months in French oak barrels, a large proportion of them new.
What makes the 2021 vintage especially (…)Canchánchara Royale Cocktail (Planteray + Loron Cremant)

The Canchánchara Royale Cocktail set is built around a Cuban cocktail that many regard as an early forerunner of today's Mojito and Daiquiri. The classic serve is straightforward and expressive: brown rum, honey water, lime juice and crushed ice.
This Royale version keeps that Cuban foundation, then gives it a more celebratory edge. It is made with a brown rum from Planteray and topped with a splash of Loron Crémant, adding sparkle without losing the original rum, honey and lime structure.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like this set because it gives a familiar cocktail moment a little more story. It is easy to explain at the table, rooted in classic rum cocktail culture, and finished with a bright sparkling touch.

Quinta Da Fonte Souto Vinha Do Souto Red 2019

Quinta da Fonte Souto Vinha do Souto Red 2019 is the flagship red cuvée from Quinta da Fonte Souto, Symington Family Estates' property in Portalegre, Alto Alentejo. Its name comes from the soutos, the chestnut groves near the vineyards that supply the grapes. That detail says a lot: this is a wine rooted in a specific estate and landscape rather than a broad regional style.
The 2019 blend is built from Syrah and Alicante Bouschet, selected from estate parcels on schist and granite soils in the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park. At around 490 to 550 metres above sea level, with marked day-night temperature differences, the vineyards give the wine freshness alongside concentration. At Drankenshop Broekmans, that is what makes this bottle especially interesting: (…)Quinta Do Vesuvio 2018

Quinta Do Vesuvio 2018
On request only
Quinta Do Vesuvio 2018 is a dry red Douro DOC from Portugal, made at the historic Quinta do Vesuvio estate in the Douro Superior. It is worth noting that this is the estate's still red wine, not the Vintage Port from the same house and vintage. The blend is led by Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional, with a small proportion of Tinta Amarela.
The fruit was hand-harvested and carefully selected, first as bunches and then again as individual berries. In the cellar, the grapes were moved by gravity into small fermentation tanks, with each variety followed separately to preserve its own character. A post-fermentation maceration added structure, tannic depth and ageing potential.
The 2018 growing season brought very low yields. After a dry start, spring rain (…)Sake Kitajima Naturel II 72cl

Sake Kitajima Naturel II 72cl

Kitajima Naturel II is a Japanese sake with a deliberately natural approach. It is brewed from pesticide-free rice, indigenous yeasts and no additives, so the focus stays firmly on rice, koji, fermentation and the brewer's touch rather than on polish or ornament.
The sake comes from Kitajima Shuzo in Konan, in Japan's Shiga prefecture on Honshu. It is made with Kiramizuki, a rice variety developed in Shiga, polished to 80%. The brewing style is kimoto junmai, a traditional method in which natural microbial activity and lactic acid bacteria play an important role in building the fermentation starter.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of sake we like to present when someone is looking for a bottle with a clear link between agriculture, brewing method (…)Sake Kitajima Naturali 72cl

Kitajima Naturali is a Japanese sake from Shiga, made by Kitajima Shuzo on Honshu. Rather than aiming for a very neutral, highly polished impression, it puts Wataribune rice at the centre, with long low-temperature fermentation and no charcoal filtration.
The kimoto method and the stated 88% polishing ratio give this sake a more grounded, expressive feel. It keeps close to the rice, with fermentative depth, a broad structure and a dry finish. At 18.2% alcohol, it also has a firmer presence than many lighter sake styles.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who want to explore sake with more texture and culinary range. It can be served lightly chilled, but also warm, with a recommended serving span from 15 to 55 °C.

Izumibashi Green is a Japanese junmai sake from Ebina in Kanagawa prefecture. Its identity is built around rice. Izumibashi works with several sake rice varieties grown by or for the brewery, and the house is known for keeping rice cultivation, polishing and brewing as closely connected as possible.
This sake is also known as Tonbo Green, with the dragonfly motif on the label referring back to the rice fields. The rice is polished to 80%, and the sake spends one year in stainless steel tanks at low temperature. That keeps the focus firmly on rice expression, umami and freshness, without any oak influence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a sake with a strong place at the table rather than just a glass to sip on its own. It can be served chilled or (…)Quinta Da Fonte Alicante Bouchet 2018

Quinta Da Fonte Alicante Bouchet 2018

Quinta Da Fonte Alicante Bouchet 2018 is a Portuguese red wine with a very focused idea behind it: one grape variety, one separately selected lot and a limited bottling of around 6,000 bottles. At Quinta da Fonte Souto, the Symington Family Estates property in Portalegre, this kind of varietal release is only made when a particular lot stands out clearly in a given vintage.
The grapes come from three older vineyards, all over 25 years old, planted at just above 500 metres at the foot of the Serra de São Mamede. That setting is central to the wine's identity. The altitude helps preserve freshness and balance, while the older, low-yielding vines bring structure and concentration. Harvesting was done by hand in small crates, followed by manual sorting and carefully (…)Quinta Do Ataide Vinha Do Arco 2016

Quinta Do Ataide Vinha Do Arco 2016

Quinta Do Ataide Vinha Do Arco 2016 is a red DOC Douro wine from Symington, produced in Portugal's Douro Superior. Its identity is very clearly tied to one place: Vinha do Arco, a single vineyard planted entirely with Touriga Nacional. The grapes come from organically farmed parcels with vines planted in the early 1980s.
The vineyard lies in the Vilariça Valley, a more open and gently rolling part of the Douro Superior. Its schist soils, with a notable clay component, mattered in the 2016 growing season. A warm, wet winter and cool, wet spring built up water reserves, followed by a very hot summer. Rain in late August and mid-September helped the final stages of ripening before a dry, sunny harvest period.
The winemaking was deliberately careful: (…)Pombal Do Vesuvio 2021

Pombal do Vesúvio 2021 is a red Douro wine from Quinta do Vesúvio in Portugal's Douro Superior. Its name refers to Vinha do Pombal, a vineyard on the estate where Touriga Nacional plays an important role. The 2021 blend is led by Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, with small additions of Tinta Amarela and Alicante Bouschet.
The production is deliberately careful: hand-harvested grapes, manual bunch selection, gentle destemming, berry selection and fermentation in small tanks. The wine then spends 9 months in French oak barrels, but the available tasting information points to wood that stays in the background, allowing fruit, floral notes, herbs, acidity and tannin structure to define the wine.

Quinta Do Fonte Souto White 2023 brings out a fresher, more lifted side of Alentejo. The fruit comes from Quinta da Fonte Souto near Portalegre, in the Serra de São Mamede, where the vineyards sit at around 500 metres above sea level. That altitude gives the wine a cooler expression, with freshness and mineral drive at the centre of its style.
Arinto forms the main part of the blend, supported by Verdelho. The Arinto gives the wine its taut, energetic line, while the winemaking adds texture and depth. Part of the must ferments in large 500-litre oak barrels, chosen to keep the wood influence restrained. The wine then spends 9 months in a mix of oak and stainless steel, with fine lees contact and careful bâtonnage.

Pombal do Vesúvio 2023 is the dry red side of Quinta do Vesúvio in the Douro Superior. This is not port, but a still DOC Douro red wine shaped around ripe fruit, firm structure and a clear search for elegance.
The name comes from the pombal, the old dovecote on the estate. A significant part of the wine is sourced from terraces around that site, where Touriga Nacional plays the leading role. The blend is completed with Touriga Franca, Alicante Bouschet and a small share of Tinta Amarela.
The production is deliberately careful: hand-picked grapes in small 20 kg boxes, manual sorting, gentle destemming, a second selection of the berries and gravity transfer into small fermentation tanks. The wine then spends 10 months in French oak barrels, adding (…)Quinta Do Fonte Souto Red

Quinta do Fonte Souto Red is a Portuguese red wine that shows Symington from a different angle. It comes from Portalegre in the Alto Alentejo, from vineyards on the slopes of the Serra de São Mamede. At around 500 metres above sea level, the estate has cooler and wetter conditions than the warmer Alentejo plain, giving the wine its mix of concentration, freshness and firm structure.
Quinta da Fonte Souto was acquired by the Symington family as their first wine estate outside the Douro. The name refers to the water sources on the property and to the surrounding chestnut groves, a detail that feels especially fitting given the wine's woodland notes and chestnut-like character.
The blend is built around Alicante Bouschet, Syrah and Touriga Nacional. The (…)Pequeno Dilema 2023

Pequeno Dilema 2023 is a Portuguese white wine from Symington, made in the Douro. Its character is closely tied to two high-altitude family vineyards in the Cima Corgo: Tapadinha, above the Rio Torto valley, and Chões, in the Rio Pinhão valley. In the warm Douro setting, that altitude is an important part of the wine's freshness and measured ripeness.
The 2023 blend brings together Arinto, Viosinho, Códega do Larinho, Rabigato and a small proportion of Alvarinho. Fermentation begins in tank and continues in a combination of new and used barrels, followed by ten months on the lees in 500-litre French and Hungarian oak. The result is a white wine with more than simple freshness: there is structure, texture and a gentle sense of oak integration.

The 2023 blend is led by Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, supported by Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and other varieties. The grapes are carefully sorted and gently handled, with maceration aimed at a wine that can be enjoyed relatively young while still having the structure for further bottle development. Ageing takes place for 12 months in 400-litre French oak barrels in their second and third year, so the oak influence remains measured rather than (…)Casa De Rodas Alvarinho 2023

Casa De Rodas Alvarinho 2023 is a dry white wine from Portugal, rooted in Monção e Melgaço within the Vinho Verde region. It comes from the historic Casa de Rodas estate in Monção, a property linked in the supplied information to a long Alvarinho tradition, including commercial exports in the 1920s with the grape variety already clearly shown on the label.
Made by Mendes & Symington with winemaker Anselmo Mendes, the wine is shaped with a careful, restrained approach. The grapes are hand-harvested during the cooler parts of the day, gently pressed and fermented under controlled temperature. Six months on fine lees add texture and quiet depth, while keeping the wine's fresh, mineral line firmly in place.

Valdespino Los Arcos 2022 is a different expression of Jerez. Rather than a fortified sherry, this is a still white wine made from Palomino, grown in Viña Los Arcos within Pago Macharnudo Bajo. Its origin matters: the white, calcareous albariza soil gives the wine its dry, mineral backbone.
The vineyard has been certified organic since 2018. Grapes are hand-harvested and selected at optimal ripeness, then fermented in carefully chosen Valdespino sherry casks. After fermentation, the wine spends around four months on its lees, bringing a subtle rounded texture to an otherwise fresh and precise style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a wine for anyone curious about the quieter, still-wine side of Jerez. It keeps the freshness of Palomino at the (…)Quinta Da Fonte Souto Rose 2022

Quinta Do Ataide 2018 is a red Douro DOC wine from Portugal, made by Symington from organically grown grapes at Quinta do Ataide in the Vilariça Valley, in the Douro Superior. It is an unfortified red wine, led by Touriga Nacional with Touriga Franca and Alicante Bouschet completing the blend.
The setting matters here. The Vilariça Valley is different from the steeply terraced image often associated with the Douro: its landscape is gentler, more rolling to flatter, with schist soils that include loam and some clay. In the warm, dry conditions of the Douro Superior, that ability to retain moisture gives useful background to the wine's concentration and to the freshness noted in the 2018 vintage.
The winemaking is handled with care, from hand (…)Bst (Baby Super Tuscan) Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon 2024

Expected: 22/11/2026Bst, short for Baby Super Tuscan, is an Italian red wine from Ambrogio E Giovanni Folonari. Its identity is stated clearly on the label: Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon brought together in one cuvée.
The 2024 vintage comes in at 13.5% alcohol, giving this wine a modern and straightforward profile within the Italian red wine category. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see bottles like this as a good match for customers who want an Italian red with a clear grape composition and a name that immediately tells you the direction of the wine.
