Algueira Dolio 2020 is a dry red wine from Ribeira Sacra in Galicia, shaped by the steep terraced vineyards along the Sil. It is built around native Galician red varieties such as Mencía, Brancellao, Merenzao, Caáño and Sousón, giving it a profile that feels distinctly regional: fresh, precise and mineral rather than broad or heavy.
There is a strong sense of place behind this wine. Algueira is connected with the recovery of old terraces on the slopes of Doade and Abeleda, and Dolio comes from some of the estate's better terroirs. The winemaking is described as artisanal, with whole-cluster work, indigenous yeasts and ageing in French oak, including barriques and large foudres.
