Borgogno Barolo Cannubi Riserva 2009 2011 2012 3x75cl
On request only
The Borgogno Barolo Cannubi Riserva Collection brings together three vintages of the same wine: 2009, 2011 and 2012, one 75 cl bottle of each. It is a vertical set built around Cannubi, one of Barolo's historic vineyard areas, released by Borgogno as Riserva only in selected years.
Each bottle shares the same identity: Barolo DOCG Riserva from Piedmont, made entirely from Nebbiolo, grown on calcareous clay-marl soils with sand and a pronounced presence of silt at around 290 to 315 metres altitude. The winemaking follows a classical path, with spontaneous fermentation, extended maceration and four years in large Slavonian oak casks, followed by further ageing in bottle. The emphasis is on Nebbiolo, place and maturity rather than overt oak influence.

Borgogno Barolo Liste Reserva 2009 2012 2014 3x75cl
On request only
Borgogno Barolo Liste Riserva 2009, 2012 and 2014 is a three-bottle vertical set from one clearly defined origin: the Liste MGA in the commune of Barolo. Rather than presenting a single vintage in isolation, it lets you taste how Nebbiolo from the same site develops across different years.
The vineyard context is a major part of the appeal. Borgogno describes Liste as south to south-east facing, at roughly 290 to 370 metres above sea level, with calcareous clay-marl soils, sand and a surrounding truffle wood. That wood is said by the producer to bring a slightly cooler microclimate, an interesting detail for a structured, traditionally styled Barolo.
Each wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo and matured for years in large 4,500-litre Slavonian oak casks before (…)Chateau Palmer 2000 2005 2009 3x75cl

Chateau Palmer 2000 2005 2009 3x75cl
On request only
This set brings together three 75 cl bottles of Château Palmer: the 2000, 2005 and 2009 vintages. It is the estate's Grand Vin, a dry red Bordeaux from Margaux in the Médoc, from a property classified as a Troisième Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification.
The real fascination here is the vertical tasting aspect. Rather than seeing Château Palmer through a single vintage, you can compare three different growing seasons side by side. The 2000 followed a wet spring and difficult flowering, before dry, sunny weather from mid-July allowed slow and steady ripening. The 2005 came from an exceptionally dry season, with low yields, small berries and concentrated grapes. The 2009 shows a riper, rounder expression, built on healthy, juicy and (…)Inishie Kiwami Coffret Vintage Sake 3x18cl (1983, 1995 & 1997) Incl. Box

Inishie Kiwami is not a conventional wine set, but a Japanese tasting coffret built around three long-aged Junmai sakes from the 1983, 1995 and 1997 vintages. Each 18 cl bottle explores a different expression of koshu, the Japanese tradition of aged sake. The word Kiwami means the peak or the ultimate, and in this context it refers to sake where time is not a background detail, but the heart of the experience.
The selection brings together sakes from different regions and breweries: Iwanoi from Chiba, Aoitsuru from Hyogo and Kashoku from Fukui. Tasted side by side, they show how sake can develop over decades, moving from amber-toned depth and bright acidity to floral, toasted and gently fruity impressions. The houses behind these bottles are rooted in long Japanese brewing (…)Inishie Kyoto Coffret Vintage Sake 3x18cl (1990, 1998 & 2013) Incl. Box

Inishie Kyoto Coffret Vintage Sake brings together three aged Japanese sakes in a 3 x 18 cl presentation. This is not grape wine, but rice-based sake, shown through three Kyoto vintages: Tamagawa 2013 from Kinoshita, Eikun 1998 from Saito and Kizakura 1990 from Kizakura.
The real focus here is ageing. Inishie works with long-matured sake, known as koshu, and this coffret places three different stages of maturity side by side, ranging from around ten years to more than thirty years. It is a thoughtful way to explore how sake can move into deeper, more evolved territory over time.
Kyoto forms the heart of the selection, with producers connected to the region's historic sake culture. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a particularly engaging bottle set for (…)Inishie Shiko Coffret Vintage Sake 5x18cl (1983, 1990, 1993, 1995 & 1999) Incl. Box

Inishie Shiko is a vintage sake tasting coffret built around five 18 cl bottles from 1983, 1990, 1993, 1995 and 1999. Rather than presenting one single style, it lets you move through five different aged sakes, each from a separate Japanese brewery.
The name Shiko means the supreme, and in this case it refers to a carefully selected range of long-aged sake, or koshu. The breweries behind the selection were founded between the 17th and 19th centuries, so the appeal is not only in the flavour, but also in the sense of Japanese brewing heritage carried by the set.
Ageing is the heart of this coffret. With maturation ranging from 23 to 40 years, the profile moves far beyond the freshness of young sake into dried and ripe fruit, nuts, caramel-like depth, roasted (…)Lagrange Parcellaire 6x75cl

Lagrange Parcellaire 6x75cl
On request only
Lagrange Parcellaire 6x75cl is a red wine wooden case from Saint-Julien built around a very engaging idea: tasting Château Lagrange's Grand Vin alongside a single-parcel interpretation from Les Hauts Bois. The case contains six 75 cl bottles, pairing Château Lagrange 2016, 2019 and 2020 with Les Hauts Bois from the same three vintages.
The heart of the set is Cabernet Sauvignon. In the Grand Vin, it appears as part of the château's blend with Merlot and Petit Verdot. In Les Hauts Bois, it is shown on its own, as 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from parcel N89, planted in 1985 on the estate's southern gravel slope.
Château Lagrange is a Troisième Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Julien, and this collection makes its parcel-by-parcel (…)Verite Mix Case 2005 3x75cl

Verite Mix Case 2005 brings together three red wines from Sonoma County in one assorted case: La Muse 2005, La Joie 2005 and Le Désir 2005. Rather than simply offering three bottles from the same producer, it lets you taste three Bordeaux-inspired ideas from the same Californian vintage side by side.
La Muse is Merlot-led and takes its cue from Pomerol. La Joie is built around Cabernet Sauvignon with Pauillac as its point of reference. Le Désir places Cabernet Franc at the centre, inspired by Saint-Émilion. All three wines come from Sonoma County and were aged for 18 months in new French oak, yet each wine has its own emphasis and identity.
The 2005 growing season began cool and wet, with rain continuing into June, followed by a steady (…)Vined Chadwick 2009 2010 2011 3x75cl

Vined Chadwick 2009 2010 2011 3x75cl
On request only
The Viñedo Chadwick 2009 2010 2011 Vertical Library Edition is a three-bottle set built around one idea: tasting the same Puente Alto vineyard across three consecutive vintages. It contains one 75 cl bottle each of Viñedo Chadwick 2009, 2010 and 2011, all red wines from Chile's Maipo Valley at the foot of the Andes.
The wines come from the Viñedo Chadwick vineyard, planted in 1992 on the former polo field of Alfonso Chadwick Errázuriz. Its old alluvial Maipo river terraces, stony soils and Andean influence help shape wines with colour, freshness, acidity and tannic structure. In this set, those site characteristics are seen through three different growing seasons.
The 2009 reflects a warmer year, with a riper and more powerful (…)
