Talisker 44y
Only 3 left in stock!
Talisker 44y is a 44-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Skye, bottled at 49.1%. That age immediately sets a different tone: this is a whisky shaped by long maturation, presented in a very limited release of 1997 bottles.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as one of those bottles where the interest lies in the meeting of maturity and scarcity. With the last bottles now remaining, it represents a particularly rare opportunity to experience an old Talisker at this stage of its life.
The given flavour profile points towards a whisky where wood, spice and peat are clearly present. Lighter fruit, floral and salty touches sit more in the background, adding nuance to a Skye single malt with depth and definition.
The flavour profile is led by (…)Kilchoman Cognac Matured Incl. Box

Kilchoman Cognac Matured Incl. Box

Kilchoman Cognac Matured is a 2026 Limited Edition that continues the distillery's exploration of distinctive cask maturation. The key point here is that this is not a short finish: the whisky spent its full maturation in former Cognac casks.
Distilled in 2019, it matured in a mix of 24 barriques and 8 hogsheads made from French oak. That gives the cask influence time to shape the whisky from the start, adding structure and spice while keeping Kilchoman's maritime, peated Islay identity clearly in view.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce to customers who enjoy seeing how cask choice can add a new dimension without covering the distillery style. Orchard fruit, stone fruit, caramel, roasted nuts and warm spices sit (…)Ardmore 1997 25y (The Whisky Agency)

Ardmore 1997 25y (The Whisky Agency)
In stock
Ardmore 1997 25y is a Highland single malt where the vintage immediately gives the bottle its focus. Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2022, it spent 25 years maturing before being released as a single cask whisky. Rather than representing a broader batch, it captures the contents of one individual cask.
That cask is listed as a hogshead, and the whisky has been bottled at cask strength, 51.4% ABV. This keeps the presentation close to the strength at which the cask was selected, rather than reducing it to a standard bottling strength.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of release that speaks to customers who appreciate age, vintage and cask identity. Ardmore, distilled in 1997, matured for 25 years, bottled from a single cask and now marked as last (…)Smokehead Original Incl. Box

Smokehead Original Incl. Box
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 22/11/2026Smokehead Original is a Scottish Islay whisky with a very direct personality. It puts peat, smoke and coastal intensity at the centre, capturing a wilder side of Islay rather than a restrained or polished style.
There is no age statement here, and the focus is clearly on impact: bold smoke, firm spice, a salty edge and flashes of lemon and liquorice around the peat. At 40% alcohol, it remains approachable in strength while keeping that unmistakably smoky Islay attitude.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we reach for when someone asks for a clear, full-flavoured Islay dram with plenty of fire and coastal character. It does not hide what it is; it leans into the smoke.
The aroma is immediately bold and peaty, with wood smoke, (…)Ballechin 2005 17y Small Batch Burgundy Tube Incl.

Ballechin 2005 17y Small Batch Burgundy is a Highland single malt with a clearly defined personality. Distilled in November 2005, it spent 17 years maturing, with Burgundy casks forming an important part of its identity.
The appeal here lies in the meeting of maturity, peat and cask strength. Bottled at 53.5%, it keeps a firm, direct presence rather than being shaped into a softer standard expression. The Small Batch indication also gives it a more focused feel within the Ballechin range.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would point out to someone looking for a Scottish single malt with real structure and a smoky-spiced core. The profile highlights peat and spice most clearly, supported by lighter floral, fruity, woody and salty (…)Port Ellen 1979 32y 11th

Very last one in stock!
Port Ellen 1979 32y 11th is an Islay single malt with rarity written into its very structure. Distilled in 1979 and matured for 32 years, it is the kind of whisky that invites a slower, more considered introduction. With 2,988 bottles released and identified as a collector's item, this is not a routine bottling but a limited old single malt with a very clear sense of place and time.
The maturation in American and European oak gives the whisky a firm frame of wood and spice, while its Islay origin is reflected in a clear peated side and a light saline accent. Bottled at cask strength, 53.9%, it keeps its natural power rather than being softened down to a standard drinking strength.

Lagg Small Batch Manzanilla
On request only
Lagg Small Batch Manzanilla shows a particularly focused side of Lagg: heavily peated single malt from the Isle of Arran, shaped by the salty, wine-like finesse of Manzanilla casks. The peat smoke is clear, but it is carried by more than intensity alone, with red fruit, warm honey and gentle spice giving the whisky extra depth.
Its maturation tells much of the story. The whisky first spent time in first- and second-fill bourbon barrels, before receiving more than a year of finishing in first-fill Manzanilla casks. That final stage adds a maritime, mineral edge and keeps the richness neatly framed.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this release as a strong choice within the Scottish single malt selection for drinkers who enjoy peat with structure and (…)Longrow Red Pinot Noir 15y

Longrow Red Pinot Noir 15y
Very last one in stock!
Longrow Red Pinot Noir 15y is a Campbeltown single malt with a clear sense of direction. Fifteen years of age, wine maturation and bottling at cask strength give it a firm, expressive profile rather than a polished or softened one.
The Pinot Noir name places this release firmly within the Longrow Red style, where wine maturation plays an important role. What stands out here is the interplay between peat and spice, supported by lighter fruity, floral, woody and salty notes. It is a whisky built on contrast and structure, with the cask influence adding another layer without taking the focus away from the Longrow identity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would point this bottle towards drinkers who enjoy single malt with presence and a little edge. The 51.4% (…)Ardmore 2009 10y Nectar (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland For The Nectar)

Ardmore 2009 10y Nectar is a Highland single malt with a clear independent bottling identity. Distilled in December 2009 and bottled in October 2020 by The Single Malts of Scotland for The Nectar, it captures Ardmore through one focused release rather than a broad house expression.
Its appeal lies in the combination of a single cask, cask strength bottling and a small outturn of 230 bottles. That makes it a very specific snapshot: one cask, ten years of maturation, and a whisky presented with its strength intact at 57.8%.
The Peated Cask brings peat into the foreground, supported by a notably spicy profile. Wood, fruit, floral notes and a light saline edge sit more quietly around that core. Laphroaig 27y is a mature Islay single malt with a distinctly limited nature. Bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland as part of the Director's Special series, it shows a far older side of Laphroaig than most drinkers encounter regularly.
This release was matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled at 51.2%, with only 210 bottles produced. With the last bottles now in view, it occupies a special place at Drankenshop Broekmans for customers looking for an aged, small-release Islay whisky rather than a standard distillery bottling.
What makes it so engaging is the way the tasting notes move between tropical sweetness and dark smoke. Mango, banana, passion fruit and lime sit alongside coal smoke, dark chocolate, mint, tobacco and cherry jam. The result is a (…)Bowmore 2010 15y (The Whisky Agency - Milroy's For Twa)

Bowmore 2010 15y is a very focused Islay single malt: one bourbon barrel, fifteen years of maturation, and bottled at cask strength by The Whisky Agency for Milroy's for TWA. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures the development of a single cask from one specific period.
Its character is built around coastal smoke, with a fresher fruit note sitting in the background. At 53.7%, the whisky keeps a direct, cask-strength presence in the glass, giving the maritime and peated side room to come through with real clarity.

Caol Ila 40y is the kind of single malt where age and origin immediately set the tone. Forty years of maturation gives this Islay whisky a serious sense of depth, while the fact that it comes from a single hogshead cask makes it highly specific rather than broadly representative.
Bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland for the Director's Special series, it is presented at cask strength, 49.1% ABV. Only 108 bottles were drawn from the cask, and with the last bottles remaining, it has a naturally special position within the whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans.

An Islay 30y is a Scottish single malt where the age and origin do most of the talking. The distillery remains undisclosed, yet the essentials are firmly in place: Islay, thirty years of maturation, and a bottling by The Single Malts of Scotland under the Marriage label.
That anonymity gives the whisky a different kind of appeal. Rather than leaning on a distillery name, it invites attention to the style itself: mature Islay malt with clear peat, wood and spice, supported by a lighter touch of fruit and salinity. At 47.5%, it has enough strength to carry that mature profile without making the alcohol the centre of attention.
