Château Lynch Moussas 2021 Magnum is the Grand Vin of Château Lynch-Moussas from Pauillac in the Médoc. The 1.5-litre magnum format gives the bottle a real sense of occasion, while remaining the estate's first wine rather than a separate cuvée.The 2021 vintage is made from 72% Cabernet Sauvignon and 28% Merlot. That Cabernet-led structure sits firmly in Pauillac territory, supported by the estate's deep gravel soils. The growing season brought cool and wet periods, but a dry, sunny October was especially important for Cabernet Sauvignon, giving the wine structure, length, intensity and freshness.
Grape varieties and parcels were vinified separately before the final blend was made. The wine then matured for 18 months in French oak barrels, around 60% of them new. The result stays close to its Pauillac identity: dark fruit, spice, polished oak influence and a firm yet measured frame.
