Chateau Lynch Moussas 2019 is the estate's first wine from Pauillac in the Médoc, with the château classified as a Grand Cru Classé in 1855. The 2019 vintage also carries a special detail of its own: the bottle and packaging were designed to mark one hundred years of ownership by the Castéja family.Cabernet sauvignon sets the tone here, making up 73% of the blend, supported by 27% merlot. That gives the wine a firmly Pauillac identity: structured, dark-fruited and serious, with merlot adding fruit and roundness. The vineyard soils are described as gravel and clay, a combination that sits well with the wine's depth and ripe cabernet-driven frame.
