Product info about Prunier Vsop
Prunier VSOP is a French cognac from Maison Prunier in Cognac. The house traces its family history in wine and cognac trading back to around 1700, with the Prunier name linked to bottling and shipping since 1769. This is the regular Prunier VSOP, bottled at 40%, not the separate VSOP Grande Champagne release.Its character comes from blending eaux-de-vie from several crus within the Cognac region, especially Fins Bois and Petite Champagne, with Bons Bois sometimes mentioned as part of the composition. Ugni blanc is the grape used, and the age range for this expression is given at roughly five to seven years. The result is a fruit-led, supple VSOP where the wood influence supports the texture rather than taking over.
