Chateau La Fleur 2021 is a red wine from Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux, shaped very clearly by its vintage. It comes from Château La Fleur, part of Dassault Wine Estates, and the 2021 blend is given as 78% Merlot and 22% Cabernet Franc.
That Cabernet Franc share is one of the telling details here. Frost reduced production significantly, while the Cabernet Franc parcels were better protected than the Merlot plots. For that reason, 2021 stands apart from a more typical year for this estate. A production of around 6,000 bottles is mentioned, so availability is naturally limited.

Chateau La Fleur 2021 Magnum is a red wine from Saint-Emilion, France, presented in the generous 1.5 litre format. The 2021 vintage is led by Merlot, with a notably strong contribution from Cabernet Franc: 78% Merlot and 22% Cabernet Franc. That Cabernet Franc presence gives this vintage a particular voice, with freshness, floral detail and classic Bordeaux structure taking precedence over sheer weight.
The wine comes from the northern side of Saint-Emilion, where the vineyards sit on clay-limestone soils and clay over limestone subsoil. Chateau La Fleur has been part of Dassault Wine Estates since 2002. The wine is vinified parcel by parcel in temperature-controlled concrete and wooden vats, then aged for the 2021 vintage in 60% new barriques, 35% concrete tanks and 5% (…)Chateau La Fleur 2022

Château La Fleur 2022 is a red Saint-Émilion Grand Cru from Bordeaux's Right Bank, shaped mainly by Merlot with smaller parts of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards lie on the northern edge of the Saint-Émilion slope, with south to south-west exposure and clay-limestone soils.
The estate has been part of Dassault Wine Estates since 2002. Grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, then vinified parcel by parcel in temperature-controlled concrete and wooden vats. Ageing in barriques, amphorae and vats gives the wine a measured framework for its ripe fruit and structure.
In the Bordeaux selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this is a Saint-Émilion for those who appreciate depth, polish and cellar potential. The 2022 (…)
