Laphroaig 1998 21y Dlxop (Douglas Laing Extra Old Particular)

Very last one in stock!

Laphroaig 1998 21y DLXOP is an Islay single malt bottled by Douglas Laing for the Extra Old Particular range. Distilled in April 1998 and bottled in August 2019, it brings together 21 years of maturation with the directness of a cask strength release.

Its appeal lies in the very specific nature of the bottling. This is a single cask whisky from a refill hogshead, released at 53.4% and limited to just 224 bottles. With only the last bottles remaining, it has the quiet scarcity that often makes independent single cask releases so compelling.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a mature Laphroaig for drinkers who appreciate a clear Islay profile without losing sight of nuance. Peat, spice and fruit are the main threads here, while the wood influence stays (…)

Islay 1991 30y 51,90° (Signatory - Cask Collection) Tube Incl.

In stock

Islay 1991 30y 51.90° is a whisky with a deliberately quiet identity. The distillery remains undisclosed, yet the essentials are very clear: an Islay single malt distilled on 12 December 1991 and bottled on 11 March 2022 after 30 years of maturation.

Signatory released it as part of the Cask Collection, drawn from a single Bourbon Barrel. That matters here, because this is not a broad vatting but the contents of one individual cask. Only 256 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now in circulation, the release has become increasingly scarce.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that speaks to customers who appreciate detail: a dated vintage, a single cask origin, cask strength at 51.9%, and the unmistakable setting of (…)

Ardbeg 22y

In stock

Ardbeg 22y is a Scottish single malt from Islay with the kind of age statement that immediately gives it a different presence. Distilled in 1996 and matured for 22 years in a Bourbon Barrel, it represents a specific chapter rather than a regular, everyday release.

Only 2400 bottles were bottled, and the product is marked as a collectors item. Combined with the indication that these are among the last bottles, that makes this Ardbeg feel increasingly scarce. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for customers who are looking beyond the familiar core range and want an older Islay whisky with a clearly defined origin.

Its flavour profile points toward a firm interplay of peat, fruit and spice, supported by lighter wood influence, a floral edge and a (…)

Longrow 23y Single Cask Nectar

Very last one in stock!

Longrow 23y Single Cask Nectar is the kind of Campbeltown single malt that earns a closer look at Drankenshop Broekmans: mature, limited, and firmly rooted in the peated Longrow style made at Springbank.

Drawn from a single Bourbon Hogshead and bottled in 2022 at natural cask strength, it comes in at 43.4%. That lower cask-strength figure makes sense in the context of 23 years of maturation, where time and evaporation have shaped the whisky gradually. Rather than presenting a broad house profile, this bottling captures one individual cask at a very specific point in its life.

Longrow is the more heavily peated side of Springbank, known for its robust, oily Campbeltown personality. Here, age adds another layer: peat smoke, saltiness, fruit, spice and gentle (…)

Vintage Ardbeg 1973-1988 Duthie Samaroli 20th Anniversary Bottling

Very last one in stock!

The name of this Vintage Ardbeg 1973-1988 Duthie Samaroli 20th Anniversary Bottling already tells you that this is far removed from a standard Islay single malt. Ardbeg, a 1973 distillation date and an anniversary bottling under the Duthie Samaroli name all point to a release with real historical weight.

Bottled at 57%, it has a firm, powerful presentation. The sherry and bourbon cask background supports a profile where peat, spice and fruit are clearly present, with lighter touches of salt, floral nuance and wood in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this sit in a very specific corner of the whisky selection: limited, serious and made for those who appreciate the story behind a vintage release. With only 540 bottles produced, collector (…)

Ardmore 1998 23y Smsnec (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland For The Nectar)

Very last one in stock!

Ardmore 1998 23y Smsnec is a Highland single malt with the focused personality you look for in an independent bottling. Distilled on 27 May 1998 and bottled on 1 August 2021, it spent 23 years in a hogshead before being released by The Single Malts of Scotland for The Nectar. It is bottled at cask strength, at 51% ABV.

Its appeal lies in the precision of the release. This is a single cask whisky, with only 234 bottles drawn from that one cask. With the last bottles now available, it represents a specific mature expression of Ardmore rather than a broad house-style vatting.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for the way they show a distillery from a more individual angle. Here the emphasis falls on mature Highland malt with clearly (…)

Kilchoman Maury Matured

Temporarily sold out
Expected: 08/11/2026

Kilchoman Maury Matured is an Islay single malt built around a very deliberate cask choice. This is not a short wine-cask finish: the whisky spent its full maturation in casks that previously held Maury, the sweet fortified wine from Roussillon in southern France, made mainly from Grenache noir and known for its intense fruit character.

That full maturation gives the whisky a rich, layered feel, with dried fruit and a deep honeyed sweetness meeting Kilchoman's maritime peat smoke, fresh citrus notes and elegant malt structure. Bottled at 50%, it has the strength to carry those darker, sweeter tones while keeping the style precise and refined.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this limited spring release is the kind of bottle that starts a good conversation with (…)

Ballechin 2003 18y Lmdw

In stock

Ballechin 2003 18y Lmdw is a Highland single malt with a very specific identity: 18 years old, drawn from a single cask and bottled at cask strength. Rather than presenting a broad house-style expression, it captures one defined cask at one point in its maturation.

Distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2021, it was given a sherry finish before bottling at 54% ABV. The supplied profile points to a whisky where fruit, spice and peat all have real presence, supported more quietly by wood, floral and salty touches.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone who enjoys whisky with a clear origin and a limited frame around it. With 718 bottles released and the indication that these are the last bottles, it has the feel of a (…)

Pi3 Elements Of Islay 50cl

On request only

Pi3 Elements of Islay is an Islay single malt from the Limited Edition range of Elements of Islay. The series focuses on small-batch bottlings from individual Islay distilleries, identified by a periodic-style symbol followed by a batch number. Pi3 follows that understated, coded approach: the label keeps things concise, while the whisky carries the weight of the story.

The key here is intensity. Bottled at cask strength, 60.3%, it presents its Islay character without being softened to a standard strength. Peat is the dominant thread, supported by maturation in Sauternes casks and a no-age-statement presentation that puts the emphasis on the selected batch rather than on a number.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see bottles like this as part of the more (…)

Secret Islay 2010 12y (The Whisky Agency)

Only 2 left in stock!

Secret Islay 2010 12y is a Scottish single malt with an intentionally undisclosed origin. The label gives away the island, but not the distillery, making the whisky more about Islay, age and cask selection than about a famous name on the front.

Distilled in 2010 and matured for 12 years in a hogshead, it is bottled at 49.4%, giving it a confident presence without moving into very high-strength territory.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we value for its quiet intrigue: a clearly defined Islay single malt, with a concrete age statement, limited remaining availability and a distillery name kept deliberately in the background.

No detailed tasting notes are provided for this bottling. The available information identifies it as a (…)

Saburomaro VI The Lovers Incl. Box PRESALE

Pre-order

Saburomaro VI The Lovers is the sixth release in Saburomaru's Tarot series, and its concept is one of the most engaging in the range. It brings together two peat styles: a Highland style distilled in 2020 and an Islay style distilled in 2021. Rather than presenting peat as a single broad brushstroke, it explores the contrast between maritime intensity and a rounder continental impression.

Bottled in 2025 at 48%, without chill filtration and without added colouring, this Japanese single malt keeps close to the character of its composition. The smoke is clearly important, yet the whisky is built around precision as much as force. That is where the Toyama distillery's aromatic approach gives the release its particular identity.

Saburomaro IV The Emperor Incl. Box PRESALE

Pre-order

Saburomaro IV The Emperor comes from Saburomaru's Tarot series, a range in which the Toyama distillery explores different expressions of peat between Japan and Scotland. As the fourth card in the series, The Emperor focuses on a Highland-peated style: earthier and fruitier than the major Islay malts, while retaining the Japanese grain sweetness described as part of Saburomaru's signature.

Distilled in 2020 and bottled in 2024, this Japanese single malt is presented at 48%, without chill filtration and without added colouring. It feels like a distillery-driven whisky in the most straightforward sense: the peat, fruit, grain sweetness and wood influence are allowed to show without being polished into something anonymous.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the (…)

Mars The Y.A #5 Incl. Box

Only 2 left in stock!

Mars The Y.A #5 is a Japanese blended malt shaped very clearly by its place of maturation. This release was fully matured on Yakushima, an island with a maritime ecosystem recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its setting is subtropical, humid and close to the ocean, with a constant sea breeze adding a quiet maritime accent to the whisky.

Yakushima's climate is not just background information here. Mild winters, warm summers and very high humidity encourage an active exchange between spirit and wood, with annual evaporation estimated at 7 to 14%. That helps explain the whisky's combination of tropical fruit, gentle smoke, saline tension and deeper umami notes.

Mars Maltage brings together distillates from Komagatake and Tsunuki for this bottling. The (…)

Mars The Y.A #2 Incl. Box

In stock

Mars The Y.A #2 shows a different way of thinking about Japanese malt whisky. Rather than being built around one distillery alone, it is shaped around a place of maturation. Y.A. stands for Yakushima Aging, and this second release brings together malt whisky distilled at Mars Komagatake in Shinshu, Nagano, and Mars Tsunuki in Kagoshima, before maturation at the Mars Yakushima Aging Cellar.

Yakushima, an island south of mainland Kagoshima, is central to the story. Its warm, humid climate, heavy rainfall, mountainous terrain and maritime air all sit behind the style of this whisky. Maturation took place mainly in ex-bourbon casks, with product-specific distributor information also mentioning ex-sherry casks, giving context to its mix of fruit, smoke, vanilla, salinity and (…)

Miyagikyo Peated

In stock

Miyagikyo Peated shows a smokier side of Miyagikyo: a Japanese single malt where peat is clearly part of the identity, yet not the whole story. The supplied flavour profile points to a whisky shaped by smoke, floral tones, spice and fruit, with lighter touches of wood and salt in the background.

There is no age statement here, so the focus is firmly on style and composition rather than on a number. At 48% ABV, it has enough strength to carry its peated character with presence and definition.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out as a Japanese single malt with a more pronounced smoky direction. With only the last bottles indicated, it is also one of those releases where availability becomes part of the conversation.

Amrut Peated Port 2015 8y

In stock

Amrut Peated Port 2015 8y is a bold Indian single malt built around a very clear idea: peated malt, Indian distillation, maturation in a Port Pipe and bottling from a single cask at natural strength. The peated barley was malted and smoked in Scotland, then distilled by Amrut in Bengaluru, giving this whisky a distinct bridge between origin, climate and cask influence.

The whisky was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2023 after 8 years of maturation. It comes from single cask #4677, bottled at 60% ABV, with 486 bottles released. The Port Pipe is described as the maturation vessel rather than a brief finishing cask, so its influence is part of the whisky's core character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the sort of bottle we like to place in front of curious (…)

Ballechin 2005 17y Small Batch Burgundy Tube Incl.

In stock

Ballechin 2005 17 Year Old Small Batch Burgundy is a peated Highland single malt from Edradour, released under the Ballechin name. Within Edradour's range, Ballechin represents the distillery's smoky style, and this bottling places that peat character firmly alongside Burgundy cask maturation.

Its identity is built around full maturation in first-fill Burgundy hogsheads, rather than a short wine cask finish. Distilled in November 2005 and bottled on 5 July 2023 after 17 years, it is presented at natural cask strength, 53.5%, without chill filtration and without added colour.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone curious about the meeting point between peat smoke, dark fruit and wine-cask depth. The small batch (…)

Vintage Ardbeg 1975 Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Vintage Ardbeg 1975 is a Scottish single malt from Islay with one detail that immediately sets the tone: the 1975 vintage. That date gives the whisky a very particular frame of reference, linking it to a specific distillation year, maturation in oak cask and a bottling strength of 43%.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this is approached less as an everyday single malt and more as a piece of whisky history. Ardbeg, Islay, the 1975 vintage and its collector's item status all point to a release where origin, age of provenance and scarcity are central to its appeal.

With only the last bottles remaining, its limited nature becomes part of the story. For someone looking specifically for an older Ardbeg with a clear Islay identity, this is a bottle defined by (…)

Ardbeg Smokiverse - Ardbeg Day 2025

In stock

Ardbeg Smokiverse is the Ardbeg Day 2025 Limited Edition, released around the finale of Fèis Ìle on Islay. It remains firmly in Ardbeg territory, yet this edition puts extra focus on fruitier and sweeter notes alongside the distillery's smoky Islay identity.

For this release, the distillery experimented with high gravity mashing: more grain and less water in the mash tun. That creates a denser wort and gives greater emphasis to flavour-active acetate esters. In the glass, that detail matters because Smokiverse shows a more explosive, estery and fruit-led side of Ardbeg without stepping away from peat smoke.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as one of those releases that captures a particular chapter in the Ardbeg story. Bottled at 48.3% and (…)

Octomore 17.3 Tube Incl.

Temporarily sold out

Octomore 17.3 places the idea of origin right at the centre of the glass. This Islay single malt from Bruichladdich is made with barley from Irene's Field on Octomore Farm, giving this 5-year-old whisky a very direct link to its home on Islay.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of release that stands out through sheer identity: 132.1 PPM, 60.9% alcohol and a profile built around peat smoke, power and tension. Yet the appeal is not only in the intensity. The cask combination of Bourbon, Sauternes, Ribera del Duero, Ice Wine and Syrah brings fruity, sweet and spicy elements into the whisky's forceful structure.

Described as the most terroir-driven and extreme expression of the trio, Octomore 17.3 shows how far this style can go while still keeping a (…)

Ardmore 2009 10y Nectar (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland For The Nectar)

On request only

Ardmore 2009 10y Nectar is a Highland single malt with a clear independent bottling identity. Distilled in December 2009 and bottled in October 2020 by The Single Malts of Scotland for The Nectar, it captures Ardmore through one focused release rather than a broad house expression.

Its appeal lies in the combination of a single cask, cask strength bottling and a small outturn of 230 bottles. That makes it a very specific snapshot: one cask, ten years of maturation, and a whisky presented with its strength intact at 57.8%.

The Peated Cask brings peat into the foreground, supported by a notably spicy profile. Wood, fruit, floral notes and a light saline edge sit more quietly around that core. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like for its (…)

Lagg Small Batch Manzanilla

On request only

Lagg Small Batch Manzanilla shows a particularly focused side of Lagg: heavily peated single malt from the Isle of Arran, shaped by the salty, wine-like finesse of Manzanilla casks. The peat smoke is clear, but it is carried by more than intensity alone, with red fruit, warm honey and gentle spice giving the whisky extra depth.

Its maturation tells much of the story. The whisky first spent time in first- and second-fill bourbon barrels, before receiving more than a year of finishing in first-fill Manzanilla casks. That final stage adds a maritime, mineral edge and keeps the richness neatly framed.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this release as a strong choice within the Scottish single malt selection for drinkers who enjoy peat with structure and (…)
