Dry Fly Bourbon 101
LAST PIECES100% match76
Dry Fly Bourbon 101
On request only
Dry Fly Bourbon 101 comes with a piece of American whiskey history attached to it: according to the supplied product information, Dry Fly Straight Washington Bourbon was the first legally distilled bourbon in the state of Washington. That gives this bottle a clear sense of place, rather than feeling like just another bourbon on the shelf.
After 4 years of maturation, Dry Fly considered the whiskey fully flavoured enough to bottle at 101 proof, or 50.5% ABV. New oak is a major part of its profile, supported by a clear spicy side. The result is a bourbon with firmness, warmth and structure, where the strength serves the flavour rather than dominating the conversation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of American bourbon we like to point out to (…)Sonoma 2nd Chance Wheat

Sonoma 2nd Chance Wheat
On request only
Sonoma 2nd Chance Wheat is an American whiskey with a distinctive starting point: a wheat spirit made from unmalted Canadian wheat and malted rye from the UK. That already gives it a different angle within the bourbon category, moving away from the more familiar classic profile.
Its maturation is brief but purposeful. The spirit spent 1 year in ex-bourbon casks, with part of the maturation also involving ex-rye casks. Rather than leaning on age, this Sonoma is about direct cask influence, spice and a young spirit with its own voice. At 49% alcohol, it has enough strength to carry that woody and spicy character clearly.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like this bottle for customers looking for an American whiskey that steps slightly outside the expected path. (…)Eagle Rare 10y

Eagle Rare 10y
Temporarily sold out
Eagle Rare 10y is an American bourbon where maturation and oak take the lead. The 10-year age statement gives it a more mature position within bourbon, while the 45% strength provides enough presence without making power the whole point of the whiskey.
The defining element here is new oak. Its profile is strongly wood-driven, supported by clear spice and a lighter fruit note in the background. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bourbon for drinkers who appreciate the influence of cask ageing as a central part of the experience.
There is no emphasis on smoke or salty character in the supplied profile. Instead, Eagle Rare 10y is about oak, spice and restrained fruit, brought together in a bourbon with age and a distinct wood-led identity.

Michters Us1 Small Batch Bourbon
In stock
Michter's US1 Small Batch Bourbon is an American bourbon with a clear emphasis on new oak, warm spice and a rounded sweetness. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it is the kind of bottle we reach for when someone wants a generous bourbon with familiar flavours, but with enough depth to make it worth taking time over.
A key part of its story is Michter's barrel entry proof. The whiskey is filled into casks at 103 proof, lower than the common industry standard. Michter's does this because it aims for a softer, richer whiskey, even though it requires more barrels and more storage space.
Bottled at 45.7%, it has enough strength to carry its full flavour without losing approachability. The combination of sweet toffee and vanilla, dried fruit, cinnamon and light wood notes (…)Michters Us1 Small Batch Sour Mash

Michters Us1 Small Batch Sour Mash
In stock
Michter's US1 Small Batch Sour Mash is an American whiskey with its own lane. Its grain recipe means it cannot officially be called bourbon or rye, so it sits deliberately in the sour mash category, with an identity that feels less bound by the usual labels.
The sour mash method keeps back a portion of fermented mash from one batch and adds it to the next. It is comparable in principle to sourdough, helping fermentation start more reliably and giving better control over the process. Michter's bottles this whiskey from small batches at 43% ABV, with new oak giving the whiskey a firm backbone.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce when someone wants to understand American whiskey beyond the familiar bourbon and rye divide. (…)Jack Daniels Frank Sinatra 1l

Jack Daniels Frank Sinatra 1l
Temporarily sold out
Jack Daniels Frank Sinatra 1l is a Tennessee whiskey from the United States with a clearly wood-driven profile. The Frank Sinatra name gives this bottle its own place within the Jack Daniels range, and the one-litre format adds a more generous presence than a standard bottle.
American oak plays an important role here, reflected in a profile where wood is the leading feature, supported by noticeable spice and a lighter touch of fruit. At 45% alcohol, it carries a little extra weight, while no age statement is given.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a fitting choice for customers who already appreciate Jack Daniels and want a version with more emphasis on oak and spice.

Michters Us1 Small Batch American
In stock
Michter's US1 Small Batch American is an American whiskey with a name that deserves a little context. It matures in ex-bourbon barrels, and because of that it cannot legally be called bourbon. Michter's therefore presents it as American Whiskey: familiar in spirit, but with its own identity rather than simply sitting under the bourbon label.
One of the key choices is made before the whiskey even begins to mature. Michter's fills the barrels at 103 proof, lower than the industry standard. That requires more barrels and more warehouse space, but the intention is clear: to build a softer, richer whiskey. The supplied tasting profile supports that idea, with wood, spice and a gentle sweetness playing central roles.

Michters Us1 Rye

Michters Us1 Rye is a(n) whiskey from United States by the brand Michters. It falls within the whiskey group under the category Rye. It is one of the many references you can currently buy online at Drankenshop Broekmans.
This whiskey is matured in New Oak barrels. It is a version of 70 cl and has an alcohol content of 42,4%.
With a no-age-statement whiskey, no age is indicated on the bottle. Often producers choose not to disclose age when an older whiskey is supplemented by younger ones. After all, according to the rules, the age must always be the youngest whiskey in the blend, which is not desirable when the bulk in the blend is older (and therefore more valuable). Conversely, one can also choose not to mention age, when predominantly young whiskey is (…)Jack Daniels Single Barrel Mini

Jack Daniels Single Barrel Mini brings the Single Barrel side of Jack Daniels into a smaller bottle. It is a Tennessee whiskey from the United States, presented at 45%, with the focus placed on the influence of an individual barrel rather than a broad house blend.
New oak gives this whiskey its main direction. Wood and spice are clearly present, with a lighter fruity note in support. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this mini as a neat way to explore a more cask-focused Jack Daniels expression without committing to a full-size bottle.

Belgrove 2016 #170216 is the kind of rye whisky that immediately gives you something to talk about. This Tasmanian single cask bottling was selected for Collective#1 by Berry Bros. & Rudd, the British independent bottler bringing together spirits from around the world with a shared willingness to challenge convention and reduce their impact on natural resources.
The story at Belgrove Distillery is especially hands-on. Pete Bignell grows his own rye, built his own stills and fires them with used cooking oil. According to the supplied information, the distillery operates almost as a closed loop, with bio-oil as the only outside input and whisky as the only output. That gives this rye a very distinctive identity before you even pour a glass.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of release we like to present as a snapshot of a distillery style rather than just another age statement. With 1500 bottles produced and only the last bottles remaining, it has the feel of a limited release that captures a particular moment in Armorik's development.

The Mizunara element is not just a technical detail here. The product information places the character of this precious wood at the centre, and the flavour profile supports that direction: wood and spice are clearly present, with fruit playing a lighter supporting role.
