Lochside 1981 37y (The Whisky Agency)
Only 3 left in stock!
Lochside 1981 37y is the kind of whisky where age, scarcity and provenance do most of the talking. Distilled in 1981 and bottled in December 2018, this Highland single malt brings together 37 years of maturation in a cask strength release.
Drawn from a single sherry butt and bottled at 48.6%, it presents one individual cask rather than a broad house style. That gives the whisky a very specific identity: one distillation year, one cask, one moment in time. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this stand out because they combine maturity with genuine limited availability.
The collectors item indication and the fact that these are the last bottles add to its quiet sense of importance. This is not a whisky built around loud claims, but around a clear and (…)Ben Nevis 1970 44y (Berry Bros - Berry's Own Selection)

Ben Nevis 1970 44y (Berry Bros - Berry's Own Selection)
Only 3 left in stock!
Ben Nevis 1970 44y is a Highland Scotch whisky with a very precise sense of time. Distilled in 1970 and bottled in 2014, it spent 44 years maturing before being selected by Berry Bros for Berry's own selection.
What makes this release especially focused is its single cask origin. Drawn from one oak cask and bottled at cask strength, it reflects the development of that particular cask rather than a broader blended house style. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for the specific story they carry: one year, one cask, one long period of maturation.
The available flavour profile points to a fruit-led whisky, with clear oak influence and a lighter touch of spice. Peat and salt are not part of the emphasis here, so the interest lies in maturity, (…)Glenglassaugh 1973 46y The Nectar

Glenglassaugh 1973 46y The Nectar
| 1 review
Very last one in stock!Glenglassaugh 1973 46y The Nectar is a Scottish single malt from Speyside with time at the centre of its identity. Distilled on 27 June 1973 and bottled in September 2019, it represents a 46-year maturation captured from one individual cask.
The whisky was drawn from a single bourbon barrel and bottled at cask strength at 41.5%. That gives the release a very specific sense of origin: not a broad vatting, but the character of one cask after decades of development.
Only 136 bottles were produced, and with its collector's item status this Glenglassaugh has a distinctive place at Drankenshop Broekmans. It is the sort of bottle we talk about with a little extra attention, because its interest lies in scarcity, age and the singular voice of one long-matured (…)Teeling 37y

Teeling 37y
Last one in stock!
Teeling 37y is an Irish single malt defined first of all by patience. At 37 years old and released in only 150 bottles, it sits far away from everyday whiskey and speaks more to the pleasure of discovering a very mature Irish expression in limited form.
The bourbon barrel background and cask strength bottling at 41.3% keep the focus close to the cask itself. Its profile is led by fruit, with a clear presence of wood and a gentler thread of spice and floral nuance.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Teeling that adds real depth to an Irish whiskey selection: scarce, mature and shaped by a long ageing period without relying on peat or heavy smoke.

Teeling 30y
Very last one in stock!
Teeling 30y is the kind of Irish single malt where age is more than a number; it is the foundation of the whole whisky. This Vintage Reserve is among the oldest Irish single malts ever brought to market. Distilled in 1987 and released in a run of barely 500 bottles, it has the quiet rarity that comes with a whisky made in very small numbers.
The maturation gives it much of its identity. It was first aged in bourbon casks, then given additional time in white Burgundy wine casks to build greater aromatic complexity. That places tropical fruit at the centre, supported by malt, wood and a gentle touch of spice. Selected by the master distiller for its exceptional quality, it shows a mature Irish single malt style without peat or smoky weight.

Aultmore 21y Single Cask is a mature Speyside single malt with a composed, distillate-led feel. At 21 years old, it carries the weight of extended maturation, while the single cask origin gives it the sense of one specific cask rather than a broad house-style release.
The refill hogshead maturation matters here. It brings a clear wood influence, but not in a way that overshadows the whisky's fruit-driven side. The profile points to fruit and oak as the main themes, supported by gentle spice and without a peated direction.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to place in front of customers who appreciate mature Speyside whisky with a defined cask identity. With only the last bottles remaining, it is also a release that feels (…)Glendronach 1991 31y#1106

Glendronach 1991 31y #1106 is a Highland single malt with a very clear identity. It was distilled on 22 November 1991 and bottled in 2023, after 31 years in a single ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon.
That cask choice is central to the whisky's story. The supplied profile points to a deep sherried style, with plum, chocolate, raisins, ginger and tobacco running through the experience. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Glendronach we would introduce to someone looking for mature sherry-cask character with dark fruit, spice and a more sensual side.
Bottled at cask strength, 50.9%, it keeps close to the power of the original cask. Only 667 bottles came from cask 1106, making this a very specific expression of one long-aged whisky. With the last (…)Tobermory 12y Incl. Box

Tobermory 12y is a Scottish single malt from Mull, built around maturation and clarity rather than peat smoke. With its 12-year age statement, it has a clear sense of development, and the 46.3% strength gives it enough presence while keeping the focus on the whisky itself.
The American oak finish fits the style well: fruit and wood are the main themes, with a gentler thread of spice in support. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good example of a single malt for drinkers who want cask influence and island origin without a pronounced smoky profile.
What makes Tobermory 12y interesting is the way these elements come together without excess. It is not presented as an extreme whisky, but as a 12-year-old single malt with a defined direction: fruit-led, (…)Tomatin 50y

With the final bottles now remaining, its limited nature is an important part of the story.
The cask direction is clear without needing to overstate it: fruit is the leading impression, with wood and spice giving structure and depth. At 44% ABV, this Tomatin sits in a more composed register, where long maturation and cask influence are the main points of interest.

Speyside Region 1998 17y is a Scottish single malt with a deliberately quiet identity: the distillery is not disclosed, so the focus shifts to the region, the age and the cask itself. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2015, it spent 17 years maturing before being released.
The appeal lies in its small-scale nature. This was drawn from a single refill sherry cask and bottled at cask strength, carrying 50.3% alcohol rather than being reduced to a standard bottling strength. The profile points to a whisky where fruit and wood have a clear role, with spice present in a more supporting way.

The Port Nectar name is well matched to the profile provided. Fruit is the main thread, supported by clear wood influence and lighter touches of spice and floral character. Kyrö Malt N°8 is the eighth limited edition of this Finnish rye, described by its makers as a "single malt rye whisky". Maturation in American virgin oak and ex-bourbon barrels adds a sweet, woody frame around the spice of the rye. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky that shows how distinctive Finnish rye can be when it is given a clear voice of its own.
