Dalmore King Alexander III Incl. Box
Only 2 left in stock!
Dalmore King Alexander III is a Highland single malt built around one of the historic stories linked to The Dalmore. It honours the rescue of the Scottish King Alexander in 1263, when a member of Clan Mackenzie saved him from a stag during a hunting party. That background gives the whisky a sense of place and symbolism rather than simply a decorative name.
The most distinctive element is its use of six selected cask types. Ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem Oloroso sherry, Madeira, Marsala, Port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon barriques are brought together in one composition. The result, as the tasting profile suggests, is strongly fruit-led, clearly spiced and gently touched by wood, with the cask influences working as layers rather than separate statements.

Irish Single Malt 2017 8y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)
On request only
Daily Dram Irish Single Malt 2017 8y is a compact, characterful Irish whiskey release selected by The Nectar. It comes from a single cask, received a finish in a Martinique rum cask and was bottled at cask strength, 53.1%. That combination gives the whiskey a more intense voice while keeping the focus firmly on fruit, sweetness and spice.
The rum cask influence is central to its identity. Rather than sitting quietly in the background, it brings out a tropical side with ripe banana, vanilla and richer sweet notes, supported by a lightly spicy edge. At eight years old, it still feels lively and fruit-led, but with enough depth to make the cask choice matter.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this sit in the more discovery-driven corner of the whiskey (…)Shizuoka 2018 6y #864 (Blackadder - Raw Cask) Tube Incl.

Shizuoka 2018 6y #864 is a Japanese single malt with a very focused small-batch identity. Distilled on 25 December 2018 and bottled in March 2025 by Blackadder for the Raw Cask series, it comes from one bourbon barrel only: cask #864, with just 189 bottles drawn.
At 63.7% ABV, this is clearly a cask strength release with a direct presence. Yet the supplied tasting note points to more than sheer power. Alongside the high strength there is a surprisingly elegant side, with exotic fruit, floral honey and a mineral touch shaping the whisky's personality.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Shizuoka stands out as the kind of bottle we like to present to customers who are curious about limited Japanese single cask whisky. With only a small outturn and the last bottles (…)Aberlour Triple Cask

Aberlour Triple Cask

Aberlour Triple Cask is a Speyside single malt from Scotland with the cask influence placed firmly at the centre of the style. The name points towards layered maturation, while the supplied cask information highlights sherry and bourbon as key influences in the whisky's make-up.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Aberlour we would introduce as approachable in structure, yet still clearly shaped by flavour. The profile leans towards fruit and spice, with wood playing a lighter supporting role rather than dominating the whisky. Bottled at 40%, it sits in a familiar and easy-going single malt style.
For drinkers looking for Speyside character without peat smoke, Aberlour Triple Cask offers a fruit-and-spice driven take on the house style.

Arran The Explorers Series N°3 Kildonan & Pladda Island Incl. Box
Very last one in stock!
Arran The Explorers Series N°3 Kildonan & Pladda Island is a 21-year-old single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled at cask strength at 50.4%. As part of the Explorers Series, its name anchors it firmly in place: Kildonan & Pladda Island. That gives the release a clear island identity without needing to overstate the point.
The appeal here lies in the combination of age, natural strength and limited availability. After 21 years of maturation, the whisky has had time to develop depth, while the cask strength bottling keeps its character direct and energetic. With 9,000 bottles released, and now down to the last bottles, it has become a particularly noteworthy Arran within the Drankenshop Broekmans selection.
In style, the profile is led by fruit, (…)Dalmore Quintessence Incl. Box

Dalmore Quintessence Incl. Box
On request only
Dalmore Quintessence is a Highland single malt with a story that is closely tied to Richard Patterson's fiftieth anniversary in the whisky world. Rather than being defined by age, it is shaped by a very deliberate maturation idea and by the selection of casks behind it.
The whisky first matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, before spending a further five years in five different Californian red wine casks. Each cask had held wine made from a different grape variety: Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. That gives Quintessence a fruit-led and gently spiced direction, with the oak playing a supporting role rather than dominating the whisky.
Only 499 bottles were released, and its collector's item status makes this Dalmore a (…)Glendronach 1991 31y#1106

Glendronach 1991 31y #1106 is a Highland single malt with a very clear identity. It was distilled on 22 November 1991 and bottled in 2023, after 31 years in a single ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon.
That cask choice is central to the whisky's story. The supplied profile points to a deep sherried style, with plum, chocolate, raisins, ginger and tobacco running through the experience. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Glendronach we would introduce to someone looking for mature sherry-cask character with dark fruit, spice and a more sensual side.
Bottled at cask strength, 50.9%, it keeps close to the power of the original cask. Only 667 bottles came from cask 1106, making this a very specific expression of one long-aged whisky. With the last (…)Glen Grant Chronicles 1l

Glen Grant Chronicles 1l
Very last one in stock!
Glen Grant Chronicles 1l is a Speyside single malt shaped by a combination of sherry and bourbon casks. The profile points towards fruit and spice, with oak playing a gentler supporting role rather than taking over the whisky.
At 46% alcohol, it has a little extra presence in the glass, while the supplied profile does not place it in a peated or salty style. That makes the character quite clearly focused on the fruit-spice side of Glen Grant, without leaning on smoke for impact.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this release stands out not only because of its generous one-litre bottle, but also because it is down to the last bottles. For someone looking for this particular Glen Grant Chronicles edition, that detail gives the bottle a little more urgency without (…)Glenmorangie Accord 12y 1l

Glenmorangie Accord 12y 1l

Glenmorangie Accord 12y is a Highland single malt built around a clear cask conversation: bourbon and sherry. After 12 years of maturation, the whisky leans towards fruit and spice, with the wood influence kept in a supporting role rather than taking over the glass.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Glenmorangie for drinkers who enjoy a polished Scottish single malt without a peated character. The 43% strength keeps the whisky approachable while still giving enough presence to the cask maturation.
The 1 litre bottle also makes it a generous choice for those who like to return to the same style over several evenings. Its appeal lies in the combination of Highland origin, 12 years of age and the interplay between bourbon and sherry casks.

Tomatin 50y is a Highland single malt defined first and foremost by time. Distilled in 1971 and matured for 50 years, it brings together great age, a Sherry Hogshead maturation and a very small release of 125 bottles. With the final bottles now remaining, its limited nature is an important part of the story.
The cask direction is clear without needing to overstate it: fruit is the leading impression, with wood and spice giving structure and depth. At 44% ABV, this Tomatin sits in a more composed register, where long maturation and cask influence are the main points of interest.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this 50-year-old Tomatin has a special place among rare Scottish single malts, particularly for those drawn to aged Highland whisky with a sherry cask (…)Macallan Harmony V Phoenix Incl. Box

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Macallan we would introduce through its generous fruit character first. The spice is noticeable, but it sits within a sweeter, fruit-led style rather than taking over. There is no peat in the profile, so the emphasis remains on warmth, sweetness and finesse.

The release looks back to 17th-century French chef François Massialot and to the history of turning natural sugars, heat and technique into increasingly refined delicacies, with crème brûlée sitting at the heart of that idea.
For this limited edition, Compass Box brought together single malts matured in special American white oak casks, including Aberlour, Ardbeg, Clynelish and Speyburn. The cask work is central to the story. The supplied information highlights precise toasting and charring, giving the whisky a signature of peach, butterscotch and spiced molasses.

Only 303 bottles were released, so this is a tightly defined bottling rather than a regular large-batch expression. It is also non-chill filtered and uncoloured, allowing the whisky's natural weight and structure to remain at the centre of the experience.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of drinkers who appreciate Speyside whisky with real presence. This release is bottled by Cadenhead as part of the Original Collection. Bourbon and sherry cask influence give the whisky its framework, with clear fruitiness and spice supported by a lighter touch of wood. At 46% alcohol, it has enough presence while keeping the focus on the malt's character rather than sheer strength.

Bottled by Signatory for the Artist Edition, it comes from a single sherry butt and was released after 15 years of maturation. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one particular cask at one particular point in its development.
At 62.7% alcohol, this is a cask strength bottling with real presence. It has not been reduced to a more standard drinking strength, so the whisky keeps a direct connection to the cask from which it came. The outturn of 553 bottles adds to that sense of specificity, and with the last bottles now available, it naturally feels like a release with a narrowing window of availability.

Wemyss Velvet Fig 25y is a Scottish blended malt with a mature, composed feel. The name sets a clear expectation: a whisky shaped around fruit and spice rather than peat, salt or heavy oak.
At 25 years old, it belongs to the Wemyss Blended Malt range and brings together whisky matured in sherry and bourbon casks. That combination supports the style particularly well here, with fruitiness and spice standing forward while the wood influence remains lighter in the background.
Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, Velvet Fig has the appeal of an older blended malt with a restrained strength of 42.3%. The fact that only the last bottles remain adds a quiet sense of scarcity without taking away from the main point: this is a whisky built around mature, (…)D.R.K.N.S.S. Sherry Batch 2 (Asta Morris)

D.R.K.N.S.S. Sherry Batch 2 is a Scottish single malt from an undisclosed source. That anonymity gives the whisky a slightly intriguing edge: instead of leaning on a distillery name, it asks to be judged by what it brings to the glass.
Sherry maturation shapes the style, with fruit and gentle spice taking the lead. The wood is present but restrained, and there is no peated profile competing for attention. At 46% ABV, it has enough weight to carry those flavours without feeling overdriven.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this tend to interest customers who enjoy discovering Scotch single malts beyond the familiar labels. Batch 2 is now down to the last bottles, so it has that extra sense of a limited opportunity without needing to shout about it.

Woodford Batch Proof 119.5 Proof shows Woodford at a more immediate stage than the regular 90.4 proof bottling. This very limited Proprietary Batch is presented before that final adjustment, so it reaches the bottle at 59.75% alcohol. It is a stronger, less softened view of the Woodford Reserve batch.
The real story here is the composition of the whiskey. The batch draws on barrels from many different production dates, matured across different warehouses and on different floors within those warehouses. The Master Distiller notes that this release includes more barrels from the upper floors of heat-cycled warehouses, where the more aggressive angel's share process routinely produces a higher proof.

Maturation in American virgin oak and ex-bourbon barrels adds a sweet, woody frame around the spice of the rye. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky that shows how distinctive Finnish rye can be when it is given a clear voice of its own.
