Ronan Dandy 2018 is a red Bordeaux from Château Clinet / Groupe Clinet, though it should not be confused with Château Clinet Pomerol. This is a separate Bordeaux cuvée, made under the responsibility of the Clinet team with grapes selected from Bordeaux terroirs and partner vineyards.For the 2018 vintage, the wine is described as Merlot-based, with 100% Merlot stated for this year. Its sourcing brings together several Bordeaux origins, including clay-influenced soils in Entre-deux-Mers, freshness from the Côtes de Bordeaux and limestone soils from the Côtes de Castillon. Production is connected to a dedicated cellar near Château Clinet in Pomerol, created for Ronan by Clinet.
The Dandy name refers to the label showing a dandy figure on a balance bike, a design associated with the cuvée from the 2016 vintage onward.
