Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte White 2019 is a dry white wine from Pessac-Léognan, made within the world of Château Smith Haut Lafitte in Martillac. The 2019 blend is 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon, giving a wine built around citrus freshness, tension and a more rounded texture.The grapes come from the estate's own vineyards on a Günz gravel plateau, with vines averaging 11 years of age for this cuvée. They are hand-harvested in small crates, then pressed under low-oxygen conditions to preserve aromatic expression. Fermentation and lees ageing take place in French oak barriques, 50% of them new, with barrels from the estate's own cooperage.
