About COEUR DE LION

Calvados van Christian Drouin heeft zijn vorm gekregen door drie generaties passie. In 1960 start Christian Drouin (vader) met zijn boerderij in de heuvels van Gonneville. Hij plant er appelbomen en de zin om calvados te maken steekt al snel de kop op. De distillaten van de eerste 20 jaren worden op verschillende vaten te rijpen gelegd en Drouin verkrijgt ook een aantal oudere loten Calvados. In 1979 beslissen vader en zoon Drouin dat hun producten klaar zijn voor de wereld. Ze kiezen meteen voor een internationale aanpak en een focus op topkwaliteit. In 2004 vervoegt kleinzoon Guillaume Drouin het bedrijf. Met dezelfde passie en drive voor zijn product als de voorgaande generaties, maakte hij van Drouin een van dé referenties als het over Calvados gaat.
