Glenfarclas 2012 10y Lmdw
In stock
Glenfarclas 2012 10 Year Old LMDW is a Speyside single malt with a very precise identity: one sherry hogshead, bottled at cask strength, with a total outturn of 300 bottles. Rather than presenting a broad house-style expression, it captures the character of one individual cask from the 2012 distillation.
Bottled in 2022 after 10 years of maturation, it comes in at 60.9% alcohol. That strength gives the whisky a direct, cask-driven presence, in keeping with the nature of a single cask release. The sherry hogshead is the key maturation detail here, supported by a flavour profile where spice stands out most clearly, with fruit, floral tones and wood playing a more restrained role.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in the hands of (…)Glenallachie 9y Douro Valley Wine Finish Incl. Box

Glenallachie 9y Douro Valley Wine Finish is a Speyside single malt built around a clearly spiced profile, with lighter fruity, floral and woody accents in support. The name points to the defining feature of this 9 year old release: a finish connected to Douro Valley wine casks.
Bottled at 48%, it has enough strength to carry that spiced character with confidence, while staying away from peat-driven intensity. The focus is on the interaction between Speyside malt, maturation and the additional layer brought by the wine finish.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Glenallachie sits well among whiskies for drinkers who enjoy seeing how a finish can shape the final style of a single malt. With 12,000 bottles released, it is a clearly defined bottling, though its appeal (…)Johnnie Walker Ultimate 18y Incl. Box

Johnnie Walker Ultimate 18y Incl. Box

Johnnie Walker Ultimate 18y is a Scottish blended whisky built around the idea of maturity. The 18-year age statement gives it a more considered place in the glass: this is a whisky to take a little time with, rather than one to rush through.
Its character is led by spice, with gentler wood influence and lighter fruity and floral touches around it. Peat is not a defining feature here, so the focus stays on the spiced, rounded side of the blend.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a fitting choice for customers who know the Johnnie Walker name and want an older Scotch blend with a more developed profile, without moving into a smoky style.

Teaninich 8y Special Reserve 2025 is an intriguing Highland whisky because it explores a direction not often associated with Scotch: the use of rye. The supplied product information describes it as a first for Teaninich, adding a new dimension to the distillery's identity and marking a creative step within this 2025 release.
Bottled at cask strength, at 60.3% ABV, it carries the confidence you would expect from such a bold idea. Spice is the main thread, supported by gentle fruit, a light floral touch and restrained wood. There is no peat shaping the profile; the drive comes from rye spice, structure and energy.

Tullibardine 225 Sauternes Finish is a Highland single malt built around its Sauternes cask finish. Rather than presenting itself through an age statement, it puts the focus on cask influence and on the particular style Tullibardine has chosen for this release.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good match for drinkers looking for a Scottish single malt where spice takes the lead, supported by lighter touches of fruit, floral notes and wood. Peat smoke and salinity are not part of the profile, so the finish and the spicy side have room to stand out.
At 43% alcohol, it remains approachable in strength while still carrying a clear identity. It is a Tullibardine for those who want to explore a Highland malt shaped by a Sauternes finish.

Tomintoul Pinot Noir Finish Tube Incl.

Tomintoul Pinot Noir Finish is a Speyside single malt shaped by a very clear cask story. It first matures in American bourbon casks, then receives a finish in Pinot Noir casks from Burgundy. Rather than focusing on peat or smoke, this release draws attention to red fruit, spice and a measured touch of wood.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an appealing bottle for drinkers who enjoy a wine-cask influence in single malt whisky, especially when that influence adds colour and detail without turning the whisky into something overly heavy. The small-batch production gives it a more individual feel than a standard everyday release.
Bottled at 40% vol. and unpeated, it keeps the Tomintoul Speyside profile clear while letting the Pinot Noir finish bring its (…)Aultmore 1997 20y (Cadenhead's Small Batch)

Aultmore 1997 20y (Cadenhead's Small Batch)

Aultmore 1997 20y is a Speyside single malt seen through the lens of independent bottler Cadenhead. Released as part of Cadenhead's Small Batch series, it was distilled in 1997, matured for 20 years and bottled at cask strength, giving the whisky a direct and unpolished presence at 51.8%.
The Bourbon Hogshead maturation and the limited outturn of 450 bottles make this a focused release rather than a broad house-style bottling. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of whisky that lets you explore a specific stage in Aultmore's maturation, with the bottler choosing to keep the presentation close to the cask.
Now down to the last bottles, it has the quiet appeal of a small-batch Speyside with age, strength and scarcity working together. Its profile (…)Aultmore 2013 8y Dlprov (Douglas Laing - Provenance) Tube Incl.

This Aultmore 2013 from Douglas Laing's Provenance range is a good example of why single cask whisky can be so engaging. It was drawn from one refill sherry butt, distilled in June 2013 and bottled in December 2021 after 8 years of maturation at 46% ABV. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one specific cask and its own development.
Only 862 bottles were produced, and with the final bottles now in focus, it has a distinctive place in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection. Its interest lies in that defined Speyside snapshot: youthful enough to keep clarity and lift, yet shaped by gentle wood and a noticeable spicy thread.
The refill sherry butt does not appear to overwhelm the spirit. Instead, it supports a profile where spice is the main (…)Nc'nean Organic Cask Strength Tube Incl.

Nc'nean Organic Cask Strength is a Highland single malt from Scotland with a distinctly direct presentation. Bottled at 59.6%, it keeps the force of cask strength rather than softening the whisky into a lighter style.
The interest here lies in the combination of young energy and firm intensity. Distilled in 2019 and 3 years old, it is presented as a no age statement whisky, placing the focus on the bottling's own character rather than on an age figure alone.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Nc'nean stands out for drinkers who want to experience the brand in a stronger, more concentrated form. The release of 4,998 bottles gives it a clearly defined scope, while the main attraction remains its bold cask strength style.

Nc'nean Organic is a Scottish Highland single malt that speaks through style rather than an age statement. The name points to its organic identity, while the flavour direction is led by spice, supported by lighter fruity, floral and woody notes.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Highland whisky for drinkers looking beyond peat smoke or salty coastal impressions. Bottled at 46%, it has a confident presence, yet the character remains clearly defined: spice at the centre, with softer accents adding detail around it.
The flavour impression is driven mainly by spice. Fruity, floral and woody elements are present in a lighter supporting role, adding detail without taking attention away from the spiced core.

Glen Elgin 2007 18y #3800321 (Berry Bros - Berry's Exceptional Casks)

Glen Elgin is presented here as one of Speyside's quieter names, the kind of distillery many drinkers do not encounter as a standalone single malt very often. The supplied background notes that its whisky is usually destined for blends, so this release gives the distillate a much clearer stage of its own.
Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2025, this 18-year-old Glen Elgin was selected by Berry Bros for Berry's Exceptional Casks. It comes from a single cask, bottled at cask strength at 57.4%, with only 162 bottles released. The Moscatel finish brings the sweet Spanish wine influence into the picture, with the product information pointing to apricot jam and orange blossom rather than an overdone sweetness.
