Jack Daniels Gentleman Jack

Jack Daniels Gentleman Jack is an American Tennessee whiskey with a flavour profile that leans clearly towards fruit. Maturation in new oak brings a gentle woody note, supported by light spice and a subtle floral touch rather than a heavy, oak-driven style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Gentleman Jack as a smooth, approachable side of Jack Daniels, suited to those who enjoy American whiskey with a fruit-led character and a measured cask influence. Bottled at 40%, it stays within a classic, easygoing strength while retaining its Tennessee whiskey identity.

Hammer Head 1989 23y
On request only
Hammer Head 1989 23y is a Czech single malt with a clear sense of time behind it. Distilled in 1989 and matured for 23 years, it stands apart from the more familiar whisky origins while still speaking the language of single malt.
European oak gives the whisky its maturation framework, but the supplied flavour profile points most strongly toward fruit. Wood and spice are present in a supporting role, with a light floral touch adding extra detail. Peat and salty notes are not part of the main picture here, so the focus stays on a fruit-led, gently structured style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value bottlings like this because they bring something different to the shelf without relying on noise or exaggeration: a 23-year-old single malt from the Czech Republic, (…)Starward 100 Proof Incl. Box

Starward 100 Proof Incl. Box

Starward 100 Proof is an Australian single malt bottled at 50%, fully matured in ex-red wine American oak casks from the Barossa Valley. The cask story is not a background detail here; it is the heart of the whisky's personality.
Cabernet and Shiraz leave a clear mark, bringing ripe fruit depth, a vinous richness and the warm presence of American oak. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a fine example of how Starward gives single malt whisky a distinctly Australian voice, with wine cask maturation taking centre stage.
With no age statement, the focus stays firmly on flavour and cask influence. Starward 100 Proof is a bold, fruit-led whisky with enough strength in the glass to carry its darker, sweeter and spiced notes with confidence.

Johnny Drum Private Stock

Johnny Drum Private Stock is a Willett bourbon with a distinctly Kentucky feel. Bottled at 50.5%, it carries more structure and weight than a softer, lighter bourbon, giving the spice and sweetness extra room to develop.
Its appeal lies in that firmer style. Caramel and brown sugar bring warmth, while toasted oak, cinnamon and dried fruit add depth and a more pronounced spicy edge. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bourbon for customers who want something with a little more grip and presence in the glass.
Private Stock is a fitting name here: full, warm and traditional in character, finishing long with a clear spicy glow.
The aroma opens with caramel, toasted oak and a clear spicy note. On the palate it feels full and intense, with (…)Clonakilty Port Finish

Clonakilty Port Finish

Clonakilty Port Finish is an Irish blended whiskey built around the influence of its port cask finish rather than an age statement. That finishing choice gives the whiskey a clear identity: fruit comes through as the main theme, with lighter touches of wood, spice and a floral note in support.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Irish whiskey we value for its defined style and limited nature. Only 1000 bottles were released, and these are the last bottles, giving the bottling a sense of scarcity without turning the focus away from the whiskey itself.
Bottled at 43.6%, it has a little more presence than many standard-strength releases, while keeping its profile centred on fruit and gentle spice. Further information about the distillery can be found (…)Jameson Five Oak Single Pot Still

Jameson Five Oak Single Pot Still

Jameson Five Oak Single Pot Still presents a more distinctive side of Jameson than the familiar blended style. This is an Irish single pot still whiskey, developed by the team at Midleton Distillery in County Cork, and made solely from pot still whiskey. Within the Jameson family, it looks back to the historic single pot still style with which the name has long been associated.
The Five Oak name refers to maturation in five cask types: ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and three kinds of virgin oak, namely Irish, European and American oak. The malted and unmalted barley base brings the typical pot still spice, while the cask selection adds sweeter tones, toasted wood and layered oak spice.
At 46% ABV, it carries more weight than the standard Jameson blended whiskey. At (…)Green Spot Montelana Tube Incl.

Green Spot Montelana brings Irish single pot still whiskey into clear conversation with the wine world. It sits within the Green Spot range, historically connected to Mitchell & Son, the Dublin wine merchants behind the old coloured spot markings on casks. The whiskey is produced at Midleton Distillery in County Cork, following the Irish pot still tradition of using both malted and unmalted barley from one distillery.
The defining detail here is the Château Montelena connection in Napa Valley. After maturation in traditional sherry and bourbon casks, the whiskey spends a further 12 months in French oak casks that previously held Zinfandel wine. That finish sets it apart from regular Green Spot, adding a more fruit-led, red-toned and drier wine-cask edge while (…)Waterford Single Farm Origin Bannow 1.2

Waterford Single Farm Origin Bannow 1.2

Waterford Single Farm Origin Bannow 1.2 is an Irish single malt with a very clear sense of origin. Rather than presenting a broad house style, this release focuses on one farm origin: Bannow. That gives the whisky a defined identity and makes it especially interesting for drinkers who like to understand where a whisky begins.
It was distilled on 23 June 2016 and bottled at 50% ABV. There is no age statement, so the emphasis sits less on a number and more on the specific origin and profile of this release. With 9,000 bottles produced and only the last bottles remaining in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection, Bannow 1.2 also carries a naturally limited feel.
The supplied profile points towards a fruit-led single malt, with lighter floral, woody and spicy (…)The Irishman Harvest

The Irishman Harvest

The Irishman Harvest is a good example of how an Irish blend can carry more character than the category sometimes suggests. Bernard Walsh built this whiskey around 70% single malt and 30% single pot still whiskey, giving it a malt-driven base with the added spice and depth of pot still spirit.
It is triple distilled and matured in bourbon casks, shaping a style where fruit comes forward first, followed by gentle spice, light oak and a softer sweet side. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an Irish whiskey for drinkers who want approachability, but also a little more texture and personality in the glass.
Bottled at 40%, The Irishman Harvest remains smooth in profile while still showing the extra interest of its malt and pot still composition.

The Busker Small Batch Single Pot Still Double Aged

The Busker Small Batch Single Pot Still Double Aged shows Irish whiskey from a fuller, more textured angle. Produced at Royal Oak Distillery in County Carlow, it is a single pot still whiskey, made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and distilled in pot stills.
The double ageing is central to its identity. Maturation begins in first-fill ex-bourbon casks made from American oak, followed by a finish in Oloroso sherry butts made from European oak. That gives the whiskey its layered mix of fruit, gentle spice, honeyed sweetness and darker notes such as figs, plums and dark chocolate.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Irish whiskey we like to point out when someone is looking beyond the lighter side of the category. It is a limited small batch (…)The Busker Triple Cask

The Busker Triple Cask is an Irish blended whiskey where the name already tells part of the story: this is a blend shaped around the idea of three-cask influence. The specific cask types are not given in the supplied information, so the focus here is on the broader impression of added layers rather than technical detail.
Its character is led by fruit, with lighter floral, woody and spicy touches supporting it. Peat is not part of the profile, so the whiskey stays away from smoke and keeps its attention on a softer, fruit-driven style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, The Busker Triple Cask sits naturally among Irish whiskeys for customers looking for a blended style with some cask nuance, while remaining clear and approachable at 40% alcohol.

Teeling Wonders Of Wood Series Nr 4 Carpathian Virgin Oak is an Irish Single Pot Still whiskey built around the influence of wood. In the Wonders of Wood series, Teeling explores how different oak types shape whiskey; this fourth release focuses on rare virgin oak from the Carpathians, described in the supplied information as fine-grained and rich in tannins.
The whiskey itself follows the traditional Single Pot Still approach, made from 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted barley, then triple distilled in Dublin. Its full maturation in Virgin Carpathian Oak casks gives the wood a central role rather than a supporting one, placing the creamy and spicy nature of the style alongside a clear new-oak influence.

Teeling Single Grain 15y is a clear example of how Teeling approaches Irish whiskey with a deliberately unconventional mindset. This is an aged Irish single grain made from a recipe of 95% maize and 5% malted barley, giving it a distinct place within the broader world of Irish whiskey.
The whiskey first matured in ex-bourbon casks before spending a further twelve months in ex-sauvignon blanc wine casks. In doing so, Teeling continues the wine-cask exploration of its Aged Single Grain series, following an earlier release that focused on Bordeaux red wine casks. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we find this especially compelling because the wine maturation is not just a finishing touch; it is central to the identity of the release.

The profile is led by fruit, with gentle support from wood, soft spice and a light floral touch. At 40% alcohol, it stays in a classic, easy-flowing drinking style, while the blended composition gives the whiskey a rounded overall feel.

According to the product information, the blend contains a significant proportion of whiskey from fresh bourbon casks, along with a higher malt-to-grain ratio than average for its category. Bottling at 46% without chill filtration underlines the same idea: keeping texture and aromatic richness intact.

Shizuoka Pot Still W Imported Barley is a Japanese single malt with a clear focus on a direct, cask-driven presentation. The name itself points to Pot Still W and imported barley, placing the emphasis on the making of the whisky rather than on an age statement.
At 55.5% and bottled at cask strength, it has a naturally firm presence. The oak cask maturation supports the whisky without making the supplied profile feel heavily wood-led: fruit is the main feature, with lighter floral, spicy and woody accents around it.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is an engaging bottle within the Japanese single malt range, especially for customers who appreciate whisky in a more powerful and less polished form. With only the last bottles remaining, it is also a release that (…)Mars The Y.A #1 Incl. Box

Mars The Y.A #1 is built around a very specific Japanese maturation story: Yakushima. This island has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993 and is known for its hot, tropical climate and high humidity. The saying that it rains there 35 days a month gives a good sense of the environment in which this whisky was matured.
For this first release, Mars Maltage brought together single malts from Komagatake at Mars Shinshu Distillery and Tsunuki at Mars Tsunuki Distillery. The whisky was matured mainly in bourbon barrels, yet the real point of interest is the contrast between Yakushima and the original maturation environments of Shinshu and Tsunuki. The island climate creates a different ageing setting, with a higher angels' share.

Irish Single Malt 2003 16y from Bushmills is very much a whisky about one individual cask. Distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2019, it spent sixteen years maturing in a Bourbon Barrel before being bottled at cask strength.
That gives it a different place from a regular ongoing release. A single cask bottling captures one particular barrel at one particular point in time, without being blended into a broader house profile. At 51.9% ABV, it keeps a firm natural strength and a direct connection to the cask it came from.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this stands out as a limited Irish single malt with real scarcity around it: single cask, cask strength and now down to the last bottles. For anyone exploring Bushmills beyond the standard expressions, this 2003 vintage (…)Indri 2019 6y (Adelphi)

Distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2025, it matured for 6 years in an American bourbon barrel. This is a single cask whisky from cask #4073, with only 115 bottles drawn from it. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued for the way they show one particular cask rather than a broad, standardised house style.

Chita is Suntory's specialist grain whisky distillery. It works with grain whisky based on maize and produces several styles that Suntory uses for blending as well as for this single grain release. Ichiro's Malt & Grain is a Japanese blended whisky built from malt whisky and grain whisky. The name is refreshingly direct: this is not a whisky defined by an age statement, but by the blending work behind it.
That work comes from Ichiro Akuto, distiller and owner of Chichibu, also known as an independent bottler of rare Japanese whiskies. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky for drinkers who enjoy ripe fruit, gentle sweetness and a touch of spice without moving into a smoky style. The fruit is the main voice here, supported by light wood influence and soft seasoning.
