Ledaig 2010 14y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)
On request only
Ledaig 2010 14 year old is a Scottish single malt from the Isle of Mull, bottled by Cadenhead as part of the Original Collection. It shows the peated side of Tobermory Distillery, a style appreciated for its smoky, coastal and mineral personality.
Tobermory produces two distinct types of single malt: the unpeated whisky under the Tobermory name and the peated version as Ledaig. This 14 year old release matured fully in ex-bourbon casks, giving the distillery's smoky and salty character plenty of room to speak clearly.
Cadenhead's Original Collection is built around selected casks that are brought together and allowed to rest before bottling at 46%, a strength chosen for drinkability. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce to (…)Octomore 14.2 Tube Incl.

Octomore 14.2 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at cask strength with an ABV of 57.7%. It is a whisky built around intensity: heavily peated, clearly maritime in tone, and presented without dilution.
Distilled in 2017 and aged for 5 years, it keeps a youthful, direct energy. The American Oak maturation frames the whisky, while the supplied profile points most strongly toward peat smoke and saltiness, with lighter traces of fruit and spice in support.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a forceful Islay single malt rather than a softened interpretation of the style. Octomore 14.2 is compact, powerful and unmistakably driven by peat and coastal character.

Very last one in stock!
Octomore 14.1 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich with a very direct sense of power. Bottled at cask strength at 59.6%, it places peat firmly at the centre, supported by a clearly salty side that gives the whisky a strong island identity.
Distilled in 2017 and matured for 5 years in a bourbon barrel, this release is not presented as a wood-driven whisky. The available flavour profile gives oak little emphasis, so the focus stays on peat intensity, salinity and the energy of a young cask-strength single malt.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Octomore 14.1 as a whisky for drinkers who deliberately seek out the more forceful side of Islay: high strength, dominant peat and a compact maturation that keeps the message clear. With only the last bottles (…)Your benefit: € 29,23 / 15%

Oc2 Elements Of Islay 50cl (Speciality Drinks)
On request only
Oc2 Elements Of Islay is a Scottish single malt from the Limited Edition range of Elements of Islay, bottled by Speciality Drinks. In the series' periodic-table style coding, Oc stands for Octomore from Bruichladdich, with the number marking the batch. It is a concise but very effective way of putting a specific Islay identity in the spotlight.
The strength is an important part of the story here. Bottled at cask strength at 63.5%, Oc2 keeps a powerful, direct presence rather than being shaped into a softer standard release. Its wine maturation gives this heavily peated Islay whisky a distinct setting, while the absence of an age statement keeps the focus on batch character and cask selection.

Ardbeg Auriverdes 2014 is an Islay whisky with a very clear direction: peat and salt are at the centre of its character. At 49.9% ABV, it has a firm presence, while the available information keeps the focus on the whisky's identity rather than on unprovided cask or maturation details. The name anchors this Ardbeg firmly in 2014, giving it the feel of a specific release from that year.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this naturally stands out for customers who follow Ardbeg releases closely. As it is marked as a collectors item, it carries an additional sense of interest beyond the glass itself. Still, its flavour direction is straightforward: pronounced peat and salt, with fruit, spice and wood acting more as supporting elements.

Ardbeg 10y is an Islay single malt with peat smoke at its core. Ardbeg Ten Years Old is known worldwide for its powerful peaty style, yet the appeal here is not only intensity. The natural softness of the malt remains part of the whisky, giving the smoke a sweeter, more rounded side rather than letting it dominate in a one-dimensional way.
It spends 10 years in old first-fill and second-fill American oak bourbon casks and is bottled at 46% without chill filtration, helping to preserve body and depth. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we point to when someone wants a clearly smoky Islay malt with real presence and a maritime edge.

Octomore 12.3
On request only
Octomore 12.3 is an Islay single malt with a very clear sense of direction: peat, strength and a salty edge. In the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Bruichladdich stands out through its combination of 5 years of age, 62.1% alcohol and a heavily peated profile.
The Pedro Ximenez finish adds another layer to the whisky without taking attention away from its smoke-driven nature. Peat is the leading element here, supported by noticeable spice and salinity, while fruit plays a lighter, secondary role.
With the last bottles now in focus, Octomore 12.3 is especially relevant for drinkers looking for a powerful Islay whisky with a defined cask-finish accent. It is not a quiet dram; it is built around intensity, concentration and a firm peated identity.

Laphroaig Select is a Scotch single malt from Islay with peat smoke and saltiness at the heart of its character. Its New Oak Finish adds a modest touch of wood, giving the whisky a little extra structure while leaving the smoky, coastal-style profile firmly in front.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a clear introduction to the more assertive side of Islay single malt. The emphasis is on peat and saline depth, supported by light spice and oak rather than fruitiness or floral notes. Bottled at 40%, it presents that character in a straightforward, approachable way.

Lp11 Elements Of Islay is a focused Islay single malt built around Laphroaig, bottled at 52.2% and drawn from a bourbon barrel. The coded Elements Of Islay presentation gives it a more direct, individual feel than a regular core-range release.
Distilled in 2005 and matured for 15 years, this bottling was released in a run of 496 bottles. With the last bottles now remaining, its appeal lies in that sense of a narrowly defined snapshot: one distillery, one style of cask influence, and a clearly Islay-driven personality.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this among the more expressive island malts in the selection. Peat and coastal salinity carry the conversation, with lighter fruit and spice sitting behind them rather than taking over.

Bruichladdich 2007 13y is the kind of Islay single malt where the details matter because they all point to one specific cask. Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2021, it spent 13 years in a bourbon barrel before being released as a single cask bottling.
Watt Whisky, bottled by Campbeltown Whisky Company, presented it at cask strength: 57.1%. With only 254 bottles drawn from that one barrel, this is not a broad house-style release, but a focused snapshot of one maturation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for their directness. The Islay origin, pronounced peat influence, salty profile and limited outturn give this Bruichladdich a clear identity among independent single malt releases.

Croftenga 2006 15y is a Highland single malt from Loch Lomond, bottled independently by The Whisky Trail by Elixir as part of the Silhouette Series. It is the kind of release where the individual cask matters: one selection, one point in maturation, one clearly defined style.
The whisky was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2022 after 15 years, drawn from a single hogshead at cask strength. With an outturn of just 269 bottles and a strength of 53.2%, it keeps a close connection to the cask rather than presenting itself as a broad, polished batch.

Ardbeg Uigeadail, pronounced Oog-a-dal, takes its name from Loch Uigeadail, the water source connected to the making of this Islay single malt. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as one of those whiskies that explains its reputation in the glass: firmly peated, full-bodied and shaped by a carefully chosen marriage of casks.
The heart of Uigeadail is its vatting method. Ardbeg combines deep smoky notes from old American oak bourbon casks with the savoury, raisin-like character of old Oloroso sherry casks. That is what gives this whisky its particular tension: the traditional Ardbeg house style remains bold and smoky, while the sherry influence adds a darker sweetness and extra depth.

Matured for five years in ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, it brings together peat smoke, salinity, cracked black pepper, tar and a savoury meaty note. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Wee Beastie as a particularly vivid way to discover Ardbeg's more untamed side: compact in age, but far from shy in character.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan takes its name from the famous whirlpool off the north coast of Islay, and that reference suits the whisky well. This is a forceful Islay single malt, known within Ardbeg's core range as its most medicinal expression, with peat, salt and intensity very much at the centre of the experience.
Its maturation adds another layer to that power. Corryvreckan is first matured in new French oak casks and then in ex-bourbon casks, bringing spicy and sweet elements into the whisky without softening its outspoken house style.
