Longrow Red 2024
Very last one in stock!
Longrow Red 2024 is one of those annual Campbeltown releases that tends to draw attention as soon as it appears. This edition takes its direction from wine maturation: four years in bourbon casks followed by three years in Pinot Noir casks. It keeps the firmer, smoky Longrow identity intact, while adding a distinct red-fruited layer from the Pinot Noir influence.
Bottled at 57.1% and at cask strength, it is not a softened or overly polished style. The whisky carries weight, spice, fruit, smoke and a lightly coastal edge. At Drankenshop Broekmans, annual Longrow Red releases like this are always worth looking at closely, because each one shows the malt through a different cask lens.
Here, the Pinot Noir maturation brings tension rather than simple sweetness: (…)*Vintage* Ardbeg 1975 Incl. Box

*Vintage* Ardbeg 1975 Incl. Box
Very last one in stock!
Vintage Ardbeg 1975 is a Scottish single malt from Islay with one detail that immediately sets the tone: the 1975 vintage. That date gives the whisky a very particular frame of reference, linking it to a specific distillation year, maturation in oak cask and a bottling strength of 43%.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this is approached less as an everyday single malt and more as a piece of whisky history. Ardbeg, Islay, the 1975 vintage and its collector's item status all point to a release where origin, age of provenance and scarcity are central to its appeal.
With only the last bottles remaining, its limited nature becomes part of the story. For someone looking specifically for an older Ardbeg with a clear Islay identity, this is a bottle defined by (…)Amrut Peated Port 2015 8y

Amrut Peated Port 2015 8y

Amrut Peated Port 2015 8y is an Indian single malt with a very direct identity: peated, port matured and bottled at cask strength. Distilled in June 2015 and bottled in July 2023, it carries an 8 year age statement and comes in at a full 60% ABV.
Its single cask nature is central to the appeal. With 486 bottles drawn from one cask, this is not a broad house-style release, but a focused snapshot of one maturation. The port cask element supports the fruit-driven side, while peat and spice give the whisky its more forceful edge.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that speaks to drinkers who enjoy single malt with impact and definition. It is powerful, limited in scope, and built around the tension between smoke, fruit and spice rather (…)Bowmore 10y Devil's Casks Batch 2

Bowmore 10y Devil's Casks Batch 2
Only 2 left in stock!
Bowmore 10y Devil's Casks Batch 2 is an Islay single malt with a deliberately bold identity. The name sets the mood immediately: a 10-year-old Bowmore bottled at cask strength, carrying 56.3% alcohol.
Sherry maturation is central to its style. The profile brings together clear peat, spice and fruit, with lighter wood influence and a subtle salty edge in support. It is a whisky where the sherry cask presence and the Islay origin sit close together, giving the release a darker, more forceful feel than a regular expression.
Limited to 6000 bottles and marked as a collector's item, Batch 2 has a special place among Bowmore releases. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a bottle for customers who are drawn to the combination of cask strength, sherry maturation (…)Lagg Single Cask 2019 7y For The Nectar

Lagg Single Cask 2019 7y For The Nectar

Lagg Single Cask 2019 7y For The Nectar is a Scottish single malt with a very direct link to the early story of Lagg on the Isle of Arran. It was distilled in 2019, the year the distillery opened, and selected for the 20th anniversary of The Nectar. That gives this release a sense of place in time: an individual cask from the first chapter of the distillery.
Matured for 7 years in a refill hogshead and bottled at cask strength, 59.3%, it keeps the focus firmly on the spirit. The cask adds support rather than taking over, allowing Lagg's peated, fresh and fruity style to come through, together with the oily texture mentioned in the product story.
Only 228 bottles were drawn from this cask. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottling that is (…)Laphroaig 2001 20y Art11 (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

Laphroaig 2001 20y Art11 is an Islay single malt built around a very specific cask story: distilled in 2001, matured for 20 years in a single sherry butt, and bottled in 2021 by Signatory as part of the Artist Edition. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures the personality of one individual cask.
At 58.3% ABV, this is a cask strength release, so the whisky keeps its natural weight and directness. Only 590 bottles came from the cask, and with the last bottles now in play, the sense of limitation is very real without needing to be overstated.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the sort of bottle that adds depth to a specialist whisky selection: independent bottling, Islay origin, a named vintage, sherry butt maturation and two decades of age (…)Laphroaig 1996 25y Nectar (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland For The Nectar)

Laphroaig 1996 25y Nectar is a tightly focused Islay single malt: one cask, a long maturation, and a very small outturn. Distilled on 2 May 1996 and bottled in August 2021, it brings together 25 years of ageing with the unmistakably peated side of Laphroaig.
The release was bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland for The Nectar. It comes from a single bourbon barrel and was bottled at cask strength, at 50.9% ABV. With only 204 bottles drawn from the cask, this is not a general release but a sharply defined snapshot of one individual barrel.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out for customers who appreciate age, provenance and limited availability in a whisky. Its combination of Islay origin, 25 years of maturation, cask strength and single-cask (…)Black Bowmore 1995 25y Dlxop (Douglas Laing Extra Old Particular)

Black Bowmore 1995 25y Dlxop is a mature Islay single malt with a very clearly defined identity. It brings together Bowmore, Douglas Laing and the Extra Old Particular series in a release built around age, origin and limited availability.
Distilled on 1 May 1995, it spent 25 years maturing in a hogshead before being bottled at 46.9%. With only 302 bottles released, it has the feel of a whisky chosen for a specific moment rather than a standard expression.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are the kind we like to present with a little context: an older Scottish single malt from Islay, independently bottled by Douglas Laing, and marked as a collector's item. It is a bottle for someone who values provenance, maturity and scarcity in the glass.

Connemara Distillers Edition is an Irish single malt with a clearly smoky and spicy direction. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it presents itself through style: peat, oak cask maturation and a flavour profile with real presence.
The oak cask influence supports the whiskey without making wood the whole story. Peated smoke and spice sit at the centre, with lighter touches of fruit and a subtle salty edge around them. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good choice for customers looking for an Irish single malt with more depth and smoky definition.

The Manzanilla cask adds an intriguing frame to a profile built around peat smoke and spice. There is a light salty edge, with fruit and wood sitting more in support than in the foreground. That makes the whisky feel driven by contrast: mature, smoky, spicy and just touched by saline character.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Ballechin we would point out to someone looking for a Highland single malt with more tension and structure than softness. The small batch nature adds to the sense of a specific, (…)Ardbeg 2000 23y Y2k Incl. Box

The Y2k name draws attention to the 2000 vintage, while the 23-year age statement brings the sense of a long-matured bottling. The sherry maturation adds another dimension around the distillery's smoky and spicy side, with the available profile suggesting that wood influence remains present rather than dominant.

Caperdonich 25y Peated Small Batch is a Speyside single malt with a clear smoky side. That is what gives this whisky its point of difference: it carries the maturity of a 25 year old malt, but with peat smoke and spice taking a meaningful role in the overall character.
The hogshead maturation appears as a supporting influence rather than a heavy layer of oak. The profile stays focused on smoke and spice, with lighter fruit and a subtle salty edge adding extra definition.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Caperdonich as a whisky for drinkers who enjoy Speyside malt with more force and depth. Bottled at cask strength at 58.1%, it keeps a firm, concentrated presence, very much in line with the small batch nature of the release.

Longrow 23y Single Cask Nectar is a Campbeltown single malt with a very focused identity: 23 years old, drawn from a single cask and bottled at cask strength. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one Bourbon Hogshead at a particular point in its maturation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for the way they show detail rather than repetition. A single cask release has its own voice, and with only the last bottles indicated, this 2022 bottling also carries a clear sense of scarcity.

Its appeal lies in the very specific nature of the bottling. This is a single cask whisky from a refill hogshead, released at 53.4% and limited to just 224 bottles. With only the last bottles remaining, it has the quiet scarcity that often makes independent single cask releases so compelling.

Caol Ila 2010 14y #311745 comes from Berry Bros & Rudd's Coasts & Shores series, a range built around distilleries shaped by remarkable coastal settings. Caol Ila fits that theme naturally. The distillery sits near Port Askaig on Islay's east coast, sheltered from the Atlantic, in a place where sea air and peat are part of the whisky's identity rather than decorative details.
Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2024, this single malt spent 14 years maturing. It began in a 1st fill hogshead before being finished in an active Pedro Ximenez cask. That finish brings a darker, sweeter dimension to the whisky, giving the coastal and smoky Caol Ila style a layer of raisined richness and deeper sweetness.
