Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release

In stock

Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release is an Islay single malt with peat and salinity at the centre of its character. Bourbon cask maturation appears here as a supporting element, adding light wood influence, a touch of spice and a modest fruity edge around the smoky, coastal profile.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this bottle among the scarcer Ardbeg releases rather than everyday drinking stock. It is a Committee Release, bottled at cask strength at 53.8%, with no age statement and marked as a collector's item. With only the last bottles remaining, its limited availability is very much part of the appeal.

This is an Ardbeg to approach for its directness and strength of character: Islay peat, a salty profile and a firm bottling strength define the (…)

Ardbeg 1991 Over 30y Artist #13 (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

Last one in stock!

Ardbeg 1991 Over 30y Artist #13 is a 32-year-old Islay single malt, distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2023. It comes from a single cask selected by Signatory for the Artist Edition, giving this release a very specific identity rather than the feel of a wider batch bottling.

Drawn from one Bourbon Hogshead and bottled at 47.7%, it was released in just 158 bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are the ones we tend to pause over: old Ardbeg, independent bottling, single cask origin and a very small outturn all in one place.

The stated flavour profile points toward a clearly Islay-driven style, with peat and salinity as the main lines. Wood, spice and fruit are present in a lighter role, so the interest lies in the combination of long maturation and (…)

Kilchoman Machir Bay Mini

In stock

Kilchoman Machir Bay Mini offers the distillery's flagship release in a smaller format. The name comes from the beautiful beach close to the distillery, a fitting reference for an Islay single malt where peat smoke, fruit and coastal character sit at the heart of the style.

Matured in sherry and bourbon casks, Machir Bay is bottled at 46% and carries no age statement. The supplied tasting description places it firmly in the smoky and elegant camp, with cooked fruit, peat and vanilla shaping the experience.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this miniature as a concise introduction to Kilchoman: expressive enough to show its Islay identity, yet rounded by fruit and softness. Its gold medal at the IWSC 2015 adds a useful point of recognition for a whisky that has (…)

Ardbeg Monsters Of Smoke 10 Years, An Oa, Wee Beastie 3x20cl

On request only

Ardbeg Monsters of Smoke brings together three Islay single malts in a 3 x 20 cl giftpack: Ardbeg 10 Years, An Oa and Wee Beastie. The title says a lot. This is a compact way to explore the smoky side of Ardbeg, with three different releases placed side by side.

The appeal lies in the comparison. Peat smoke and a salty Islay character form the main thread, while gentle spice, light fruit and a modest touch of wood add some supporting detail. It is not a broad, neutral whisky selection; it is a focused introduction to a clearly smoky Ardbeg style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this kind of set is especially interesting for customers who enjoy tasting with a purpose, sharing a few drams, or giving a whisky gift with a strong identity. As these are the last bottles, (…)

Vintage Ardbeg 1974 Duthy Samaroli Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Vintage Ardbeg 1974 Duthy Samaroli is the kind of Islay single malt that immediately sets a serious tone. Distilled in 1974 and presented at 59% cask strength, it carries its age and origin with quiet authority rather than obvious decoration.

Sherry maturation gives an important frame to this release, while the stated profile points towards peat, saltiness, spice and fruit as the main lines of character. The wood influence appears more restrained, supporting the whisky rather than dominating it. That makes the bottle especially compelling as a powerful Ardbeg with several clearly defined dimensions.

Only 2400 bottles were released, and this is marked as a collectors item with the last bottles now available. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are (…)

Ballechin Straight From The Cask'10 10ybb

On request only

Ballechin Straight From The Cask 2010 10 Years Bourbon Barrel is a Highland single malt with a very focused story: one bourbon barrel, one limited outturn, bottled at natural cask strength. Distilled on 22 October 2010 and bottled on 14 April 2021, it spent 10 years maturing before being released at 52.7% ABV.

The Straight From The Cask name matters here. This is not a softened, heavily polished style, but a single cask release that keeps close to the individual barrel it came from. Only 322 bottles were filled, and at Drankenshop Broekmans we see this as the kind of bottling that speaks to drinkers who enjoy a clear sense of origin and batch identity.

Its profile is driven by peat and a pronounced salty side, with lighter touches of fruit, spice and wood in (…)

Caol Ila 25y Incl. Box

In stock

Caol Ila 25y shows a mature side of Islay single malt, shaped by long ageing rather than sheer force. Its profile is led by fruit and peat, while oak, spice and a light salty touch sit more quietly in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would introduce to someone who wants Caol Ila with age and composure. The oak cask maturation supports the whisky, but the supplied profile does not point towards a heavily wood-driven style.

Bottled at 43%, Caol Ila 25y keeps its strength measured. The interest lies in the combination of mature single malt, clear peat influence and a distinctly fruity core.

The flavour profile is mainly built around fruitiness and peat smoke. These two elements are clearly present and define (…)

Laphroaig 25y B2016

On request only

Laphroaig 25y B2016 is a mature Islay single malt with a very clear sense of place and age. It brings together 25 years of maturation, cask strength bottling and a combination of sherry and bourbon casks, giving this release a more serious, contemplative side within the Laphroaig range.

The supplied flavour profile points to peat and fruit as the main pillars, supported by lighter touches of wood, spice and salinity. That balance makes the bottle especially interesting at Drankenshop Broekmans for customers who look beyond the standard expression and want a Laphroaig with age, strength and a collector's appeal.

B2016 marks this as a specific release of the 25-year-old, rather than a general statement of style. It remains firmly tied to Islay, but with the (…)

Big Peat Feis Isle (Douglas Laing Regional Malts)

On request only

Big Peat Feis Isle is a special Islay release from Douglas Laing's Regional Malts range. That series is built around blended malts that capture the character of Scotland's whisky regions, often with a playful sense of presentation. This edition is tied to Feis Ile, the annual Islay festival that has become an important moment in the calendar for many whisky drinkers.

For this limited Big Peat bottling, Douglas Laing chose a rum cask finish. It brings a sweeter, richer and more fruit-led side to the familiar peated Islay style, while keeping the smoky island identity firmly in place. Peat, ripe fruit, gentle spice and a touch of salt all sit within the same glass.

Only 5,688 bottles were released worldwide, and with the last bottles now indicated, it has a (…)

Smoking Islay 10y (Blackadder - Raw Cask)

On request only

Smoking Islay 10y is very clear about its identity. This ten-year-old Scottish blended malt comes from Islay and was bottled by Blackadder as part of the Raw Cask series. The name, origin and flavour profile all point in the same direction: peat smoke and salinity are the main features, with wood playing a more restrained supporting role.

Its presentation gives the whisky much of its appeal. This is a single cask release, bottled at cask strength at 60.5% alcohol. Rather than a broad, polished house style, it shows one particular cask in a direct and concentrated form.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who appreciate Islay in a powerful, straightforward style. The last-bottles indication also underlines the limited nature of this (…)

Kilchoman Machir Bay Incl. Box

Temporarily sold out
Expected: 01/11/2026

Kilchoman Machir Bay is the flagship whisky of Kilchoman, named after the beautiful beach close to the distillery on Islay. That sense of place matters here: this is a Scottish single malt with a clearly peated Islay identity, yet presented in an elegant rather than heavy-handed way.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Machir Bay is a bottle we often turn to when someone is looking for Islay smoke with fruit and softness alongside it. The sherry and bourbon cask influence helps frame that style, bringing fruit and vanilla notes around the peat rather than pushing the whisky in only one direction.

Its gold medal at the IWSC 2015 adds an extra point of interest, but the appeal is mainly in how recognisable and well-defined the whisky feels. Bottled at 46%, Kilchoman (…)

Kilchoman 2013 10y Nec

On request only

Kilchoman 2013 10y Nec is an Islay single malt with a very focused identity: one cask, ten years of maturation and bottling at cask strength. It was distilled on 31 May 2013 and bottled on 10 September 2023 as an exclusive single cask release for The Nectar.

The whisky matured in ex-bourbon barrels from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky. That maturation brings layers of vanilla and butterscotch, set against the peat smoke and sweet citrus noted in the product information for this Kilchoman. Rather than being smoke alone, it draws its interest from the contrast between coastal peat, salinity and the sweeter influence of the bourbon barrel.

Only 251 bottles were filled, and with the final bottles now indicated, it naturally stands out within the Drankenshop (…)

Port Askaig 15y Incl. Box

Temporarily sold out
Expected: 27/10/2026

Port Askaig 15y shows a distinctly coastal side of Islay. This limited edition was put together from 30 refill hogsheads sourced from a distillery on Islay's north coast, giving the whisky space to express its maritime and smoky nature without being dominated by heavy wood influence.

At 15 years old and bottled at 50.5%, it has maturity and presence while keeping the directness that makes Islay so compelling. The refill hogsheads support the spirit rather than covering it, allowing salt, peat smoke, citrus and gentle savoury notes to come through clearly.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Islay single malt we like to introduce when someone is looking for smoke with definition: coastal, saline and layered, with enough strength to carry its flavours (…)

Armorik Yeun Elez Small Batch Cask Strength Incl. Box

In stock

Armorik Yeun Elez Small Batch Cask Strength shows a more experimental side of French single malt. For Yeun Elez, Armorik worked with peated distillate and explored a wide range of cask maturations. This limited edition brings that approach into focus through a small batch drawn from sherry casks.

The recipe is built from sherry butts: 80% American oak and 20% Spanish oak. Distilled in February 2020, the whisky spent four years maturing in Breton cellars before being bottled in June 2024 at a natural cask strength of 56.3%. Only 1,200 bottles were released.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a compelling bottle for drinkers who enjoy peated single malt but are curious to discover it through a French and Breton lens. Smoke, sherry cask influence and cask (…)

Ledaig 18y Incl. Box

In stock

Ledaig 18y is a Scottish single malt from Mull with a clearly defined island style. At 18 years old, it carries a sense of maturity, while the 46.3% strength gives it enough presence without making power the main point.

Its most engaging feature is the meeting of noticeable peat and ripe fruit. The Oloroso Sherry cask influence adds context to that profile, with gentle wood, a touch of spice and a lightly salty edge sitting around the fruit and smoke.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would place in front of someone looking for a mature peated single malt that still leaves room for fruit and nuance.

The flavour profile is built around clear fruit and peat. The smoky side is evident, yet the fruit gives the whisky enough (…)

Compass Box Architectonics

In stock

Compass Box Architectonics is a Scotch blended whisky with a distinctly limited feel. Only 1400 bottles were released, and with the final bottles now remaining, it stands as one of those Compass Box editions that has a clear sense of scarcity around it.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottling sits naturally among whiskies for drinkers who enjoy blends with a deliberate flavour direction. There is no age statement here, so the focus shifts away from years in cask and towards the composition itself: fruit and peat form the main lines, supported more quietly by wood, spice and a lightly salty edge.

Bottled at 49%, Architectonics carries more presence than many everyday blends. Its limited release and collectors item status make it especially interesting for (…)

Kilchoman Machir Bay 20cl

In stock

Kilchoman Machir Bay 20cl brings Islay single malt into a smaller, approachable bottle size, well suited to anyone wanting to explore Kilchoman without committing to a full bottle straight away.

Its character is built around maturation in sherry and bourbon casks, with peat clearly present but not standing alone. The profile gives fruit a noticeable role, while gentle spice, light wood influence and a touch of salinity add shape around the smoky core.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like for discovery: compact in size, yet still bottled at 46%, so the whisky keeps enough strength to show its Islay identity with clarity.

Islay Malt 1991 30y Tb (Thompson Brothers)

On request only

Islay Malt 1991 30y Tb is a Scottish single malt from Islay with its exact distillery name kept undisclosed. That discretion gives the whisky a different kind of appeal: the focus shifts away from the label and towards the cask, the age and the character of the spirit itself. Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2021, it carries a full 30 years of maturation.

Drawn from a single bourbon barrel and bottled at cask strength of 49%, this is very much the story of one individual cask rather than a broad distillery style. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for precisely that reason: they show a specific, limited expression of mature Islay malt without unnecessary distraction.

Its profile points to a clearly fruity and peated whisky, with lighter (…)

Berry Bros Islay Bos (Berry Bros Classic Range)

On request only

Berry Bros Islay Bos is a Scotch blended malt from Islay, bottled by Berry Bros as part of the Berry Bros Classic Range. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it puts the focus on place and style: peat smoke and fruit form the centre of the whisky's identity.

At 44.2% alcohol, it has enough weight to carry its Islay character while remaining composed. The profile points clearly towards peat and fruit, with lighter touches of salt, spice and wood adding shape around the edges.

In the whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would present to someone looking for an Islay blended malt with a clear smoky signature and a little more nuance than just peat alone. With only the last bottles remaining, it also has a more limited feel (…)

Longrow 21y 2023 Incl. Box

Last one in stock!

Longrow 21y 2023 is a Campbeltown single malt with the calm authority that comes from extended maturation. The 21 years matter here, not as a headline alone, but as part of the whisky's overall feel: mature, shaped by cask, yet still clearly carrying the peated Longrow identity.

Its maturation brings together 60% sherry casks and 40% bourbon casks. That balance gives the whisky room to move between exotic fruit, gentle sweetness, a touch of spice, coastal salinity and a dry peated close. At 46%, it remains expressive without feeling forced.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of release we like to present to customers who enjoy whiskies with a sense of place and patience. Only 3600 bottles were released, making the 2023 edition a limited Longrow with a (…)

Port Ellen 1983 32y 15th

Port Ellen 1983 32y 15th is the kind of Islay single malt that asks to be approached with time and attention. Distilled in 1983 and matured for 32 years, it was bottled at cask strength, carrying its 53.9% alcohol without dilution down to a standard bottling strength.

The bourbon cask maturation provides the setting, while the supplied profile points to a whisky where peat and fruit are clearly present. Salt, spice and wood sit in a more supporting role, adding structure rather than taking over the conversation. It is a mature Islay whisky with power, but also with a profile that is not built on peat alone.

Ardbeg Heavy Vapours - Ardbeg Day 2023

In stock

Ardbeg Heavy Vapours - Ardbeg Day 2023 is an Islay single malt with its emphasis firmly on peat and coastal saltiness. The name sets the tone well: this is a whisky built around a smoky, maritime presence rather than a soft or floral style.

Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry that Islay profile clearly. Light notes of wood, spice and fruit sit around the edges, but the main impression remains peated and saline. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a particularly interesting Ardbeg for customers looking for a specific Ardbeg Day 2023 release with a pronounced island character.

With only the last bottles remaining, it also has that sense of a release gradually disappearing from the shelf. Not just another Islay malt, but a 2023 Ardbeg edition (…)
