Glen Moray Peated Incl. Box

Glen Moray Peated is a Speyside single malt from Scotland with peat used as a gentle accent rather than a dominant force. The style keeps room for a lightly fruity and softly spiced side, while the smoky element remains measured.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would point to when someone wants a Speyside malt with a touch of peat without moving into a heavily smoky profile. It carries no age statement and is bottled at 40%, keeping the focus on a clear, approachable style rather than on maturation detail.
What makes it engaging is its restraint. Glen Moray Peated brings together light fruit, mild spice and a subtle peated note in a way that feels straightforward and easy to understand.

Bowmore 12y Incl. Box

Bowmore 12y is a Scottish single malt whisky from Islay, matured for twelve years in oak casks and bottled at 40% ABV. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as an Islay whisky with a measured profile rather than one built around an overwhelmingly smoky style.
The flavour indication points to light peat, gentle fruitiness and a touch of spice. None of these elements is presented as dominant, so the whisky is best understood as an Islay single malt where peat is part of the conversation, not the whole story.
Its twelve-year age statement gives it a clear and recognisable position: a matured single malt with straightforward character, shaped by oak cask ageing and a restrained set of flavour markers.

Famous Grouse Smoky Black Incl. Box

Famous Grouse Smoky Black is a Scottish blended whisky that takes the familiar Famous Grouse name in a smokier direction. The emphasis is clear from the label: this is about a gently peated impression rather than an intensely smoky whisky.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a good fit for customers looking for a Scotch blend with a darker touch and a little extra spice. The available flavour profile points to light smoke, light spice and light fruit, so the character remains approachable while still offering more presence than a very soft everyday blend.
Bottled at 40% and carrying no age statement, Famous Grouse Smoky Black is best understood through its style rather than technical detail: a Scottish blend with a restrained smoky accent within the Famous (…)Togouchi Premium Blend Incl. Box

Togouchi Premium Blend is a Japanese blended whisky with a calm, understated style. Rather than leaning heavily in one direction, it brings together gentle floral notes, light fruit, a touch of spice and a modest peated accent.
At 40% alcohol, it stays in a composed and approachable register. The whisky is associated with oak cask maturation, yet the supplied flavour profile does not point towards a strongly woody character. Its appeal lies more in restraint and subtle detail than in weight or intensity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Togouchi Premium Blend as a fitting choice for customers looking to explore Japanese blended whisky in a softer, more nuanced style.

Highland Park Ice 17y

Highland Park Ice 17y is a Scottish single malt from Orkney with a more distinctive place in the Highland Park range. The 17-year age statement, bourbon cask maturation and 53.9% alcohol strength give it a serious presence without needing a long list of embellishments.
Its limited nature is part of the attraction. A total of 30,000 bottles were released, and the whisky is marked as a collector's item. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that speaks to drinkers looking for a specific Highland Park release with age, origin and scarcity all playing a role.
The stated flavour profile points to a layered rather than overpowering style. Light wood, spice, fruit and peat are all present, with no single element described as dominant. That (…)Jura The Sound 1l

Very last one in stock!
Jura The Sound 1l is a Scottish single malt from Jura, bottled at 42.5% and finished in Pedro Ximenez casks. Rather than focusing on an age statement, it draws attention to its island origin, its litre format and that particular cask finish.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to customers looking for a Jura with several gentle flavour accents rather than one dominant direction. The supplied profile indicates light fruit, spice, wood and a modest peated note, giving the whisky a measured and varied character.

Tomatin Cù Bòcan Signature is a Highland single malt from Scotland with a lightly smoky direction within the Tomatin range. The emphasis is not on heavy peat, but on a measured style where smoke sits alongside fruit, gentle spice and a touch of wood.
That is what gives this whisky its appeal. It does not rely on one dominant feature; instead, it brings several modest elements together in a clear, approachable way. The peat influence is present, yet it remains part of the whisky's structure rather than the whole identity.
Bottled at 46%, Tomatin Cù Bòcan Signature has enough strength to carry that flavour profile with confidence. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a Highland single malt for drinkers who appreciate a little smoke (…)Smokey Monkey Shoulder

Bourbon cask maturation forms the base, while the flavour profile points towards light fruit, gentle spice, a floral hint and a restrained peat-smoke note. Wemyss Peat Chimney Nas (Wemyss Blended Malt)
On request only
Wemyss Peat Chimney NAS is a Scottish blended malt shaped around smoke, but not in a way that overwhelms the whisky. Wemyss uses an Islay signature malt here, bringing the peated, lightly salted character that gives Peat Chimney its name and identity.
The appeal lies in the way the smoke is framed. There is peat, certainly, yet it is supported by gentle fruit, a touch of spice and a coastal edge rather than pushed into heavy intensity. It feels clearly smoky while still leaving room for detail.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of blended malt we like to introduce to customers who enjoy peated whisky but also appreciate a composed, well-made style. Bottled without an age statement and at 46%, it focuses on character and blending rather than on a (…)Benriach Smoky 10 Mini

Its gentle, warming style is linked to the slow and patient way the spirit is made, followed by careful maturation in American oak quarter casks. Northland keeps a coastal freshness alongside soft fruit and a modest touch of peat, rather than moving into a heavily smoky direction.

Tomintoul Peaty Tang 15y brings a less familiar side of Speyside into the glass. It is distilled from peated malted barley, described in the product information as a rarity for Speyside, while still keeping close to Tomintoul's gentle house style.
Fifteen years in carefully selected oak casks gives the peat time to settle into a more delicate, spicy smoke. The interest here lies in the contrast: Speyside malt, honey and vanilla giving roundness, with peat and dry oak adding a firmer, more savoury edge.
