Glen Elgin 2008 14y Art6 (Signatory - Artist Edition)
In stock
Glen Elgin 2008 14y Art6 is a Speyside single malt bottled by Signatory as part of the Artist Edition. Distilled in 2008, matured for 14 years and bottled at 48%, it comes across as a clearly defined release rather than a broad standard expression.
Its maturation in a Sherry Butt gives the whisky an important framework, yet the profile is not simply about wood. The supplied flavour direction points towards a floral, fruity and spiced style, with the wood influence kept in a supporting role. That makes it a thoughtful way to explore Glen Elgin through an independent bottler's lens.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle sits comfortably among limited whisky releases with a particular sense of place and timing. With 1555 bottles produced and the last bottles now (…)Ben Nevis 2010 10y Artist 11 (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

Ben Nevis 2010 10y Artist 11 is a Highland single malt with the focused character of an individual cask release. Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2021, it matured for 10 years in a bourbon barrel before being bottled by Signatory in the Artist Edition series.
Only 195 bottles came from this single cask, and it was released at cask strength: 58.1%. That gives the whisky a very particular identity. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one specific barrel of Ben Nevis at one point in its maturation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value bottlings like this because they show how much detail a single cask can carry. The supplied flavour profile points toward a whisky with clear fruity, spicy and floral dimensions, supported by a lighter wood (…)*Vintage* Scapa 1980 16y Kingsbury's Unicorn Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!
Scapa 1980 16y Kingsbury's Unicorn is a Scottish single malt from Orkney with a strong sense of time and place. Distilled on 2 May 1980 and bottled in June 1996, it captures 16 years of maturation in a single bourbon barrel.
Because it was bottled as a single cask at cask strength, 59.9%, this is not a whisky shaped around consistency from batch to batch. It is the voice of one individual cask, bottled at a specific point in its development. The Kingsbury's Unicorn name only adds to that feeling of a distinctive and scarce release.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this is approached as something for considered appreciation rather than everyday pouring. The vintage 1980 date, the single cask origin, the cask strength bottling and its collectors item (…)The Glover 10th Anniversary 7y (Adelphi) Incl. Box

The Glover 10th Anniversary 7y is a special Adelphi release created to celebrate ten years of The Glover. Its identity lies in the meeting point between Scotland and Japan: a blended malt built around that cross-cultural idea, presented in a small and focused anniversary edition.
It was matured for 7 years in first fill bourbon barrels and bottled at cask strength, at 54.5% ABV. That gives the whisky a more direct expression, while the style remains refined rather than heavy. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this stand out because they tell a very specific story in the glass, especially with only 347 bottles produced and the last bottles now available.
The profile points toward white fruit, gentle spice and a floral touch, without peat or salinity (…)Hellyers Road 18y Single Cask Lmdw

Hellyers Road 18y Single Cask LMDW is an Australian single malt built around a very precise idea: one bourbon barrel, eighteen years of maturation and bottling at cask strength. At 61.4%, this is presented close to the strength of the cask, with the whisky bottled in 2021.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a release like this stands out for drinkers who enjoy seeing how one individual cask can shape a whisky. It is not a broad vatting or a standard expression; it is a more focused bottling, made even more limited by the fact that only the last bottles remain.
The profile moves away from peat and salinity, placing more emphasis on floral, fruity and spicy tones, while the wood remains present in a supporting role. For anyone exploring Australian single malt, this (…)Ichiro's Malt Chichibu 1&2 Incl. Box

Ichiro's Malt Chichibu 1&2 brings together two generations of Chichibu in one Japanese blended malt. It draws on the original Chichibu distillery, founded in 2008, and Chichibu II, founded in 2019, giving this whisky a clear sense of continuity and development.
The first component reflects Chichibu's artisanal and experimental approach. Long fermentation and Japanese Mizunara oak washbacks contribute to a precise, delicate distillate with fruit and floral detail. Chichibu II adds a different voice: French oak fermentation vats from Taransaud and direct gas heating during distillation create a richer, oilier and more grain-driven distillate, with subtle toasted and smoky accents.

Miyagikyo Aromatic Yeast 2022 is a Japanese single malt with a name that points straight to its purpose: an aromatic style rather than a whisky driven by heavy wood or peat. The supplied profile places the emphasis on floral, fruity and spicy elements, with oak playing a lighter supporting role.
Distilled in pot stills and bottled at 47%, it has enough strength to carry that aromatic side without turning the whisky into something heavy. With 4,800 bottles released and the last bottles now indicated, this 2022 edition also has a clear limited-release feel.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Miyagikyo we like to present to customers who are curious about the more fragrant side of Japanese single malt. It is a whisky shaped around nuance, where fruit, (…)Mars Komagatake New

Mars Komagatake New marks a new chapter for Komagatake as a permanent no-age-statement single malt from Japan, bottled at 45%. Rather than focusing on a number of years, it places the distillery's own style at the centre.
Distilled at the foot of Mount Komagatake, it draws its story from the air of the Japanese Alps, meltwater filtered through granite, and the blending expertise of Mars Maltage. Those elements come together in a whisky presented as pure, rich and carefully composed.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Mars Komagatake New as a graceful introduction to Komagatake's Japanese single malt character. Fruit, floral notes and gentle spice shape the profile, while the wood remains supportive and smoke or salinity stay out of the foreground.

Ardnamurchan 10y White Port
Temporarily sold out
Ardnamurchan 10y White Port represents a first for the Highland distillery: this is Ardnamurchan's first release to explore maturation with White Port casks. The whisky was distilled in 2016 from unpeated spirit, matured initially in bourbon casks and then finished in White Port casks.
That makes it a rather distinctive 10-year-old single malt within the Ardnamurchan range. Its personality is not built around peat, but around layers of grain, nuts, candied citrus and a gentle salty edge. Bottled at 52% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, it keeps a close connection to the spirit and cask influence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle where age, distillation year and strength do much of the talking. The flavour profile points towards a combination of fruity, floral and spiced elements, with wood playing a lighter supporting role rather than dominating the whisky.

The whisky for this bottling came from 27 first fill bourbon barrels, filled in December 2011 and matured under the roof of Daftmill's dunnage warehouse until bottling in 2024. In that sense, this 2024 release reads like a carefully chosen snapshot of where the distillery's work stands today.
The whisky is built from selected expressions designed to highlight the depth of malted barley, with components aged between 9 and 15 years. Maturation spans bourbon casks, sherry puncheons, mizunara hogsheads, wine casks and chibidaru quarter casks.
