Uitvlugt French Savalle Still Icbu 1998 25y (Nobilis Rum)

Uitvlugt French Savalle Still ICBU 1998 25y is a Guyanese rum built around origin, age and the individuality of a single cask. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2023, it brings together 25 years of maturation with the Uitvlugt name and the French Savalle Still reference.
Its appeal lies in its very specific presentation. This is a single cask rum, bottled at cask strength at 58.9%, with just 174 bottles drawn from that cask. Rather than a broad house style, it represents one particular parcel of rum at one particular point in time.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that speaks to customers who enjoy rum in a more direct and limited form. The last-bottles indication adds to that sense of scarcity: once this small release is gone, that (…)Neisson 2021 Straight From The Barrel Vieux Cognac

Neisson 2021 Straight From The Barrel Vieux Cognac

Neisson 2021 Straight From The Barrel Vieux Cognac is a cask strength agricole rum from Martinique, made from sugar cane juice and bottled at 58.9%. It has the directness suggested by its name: a rum kept close to the barrel, with concentration and presence rather than a polished, softened style.
It spent four years maturing in a 600-litre Cognac cask. The warm, humid conditions of the Vevert warehouses give it notable depth, while the cane-driven identity remains part of the conversation. The supplied profile points to a generous mix of fruit, spice, wood, floral touches and herbal accents.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who enjoy the more intense side of Martinique agricole. It is powerful, layered and expressive, with enough (…)Trois Rivières Vo Cuvee Du Moulin

Saint James Cuvee 1765

Saint James Cuvée 1765 is a rum from Martinique made from sugar cane juice, a style where the raw material remains close to the identity of the spirit. The name gives the cuvée a clear historical reference point, while the Saint James brand places it in a recognisable Martinique rum context.
It is traditionally column distilled and bottled at 42% alcohol. The stated bourbon cask element gives the rum a maturation angle, adding structure to a cane juice rum without shifting the focus away from its origin.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Saint James Cuvée 1765 as a good choice for customers who want a rum with a defined provenance and a more considered style than a simple everyday pour. Its popularity is understandable: the bottle combines (…)Trois Rivières VSOP Incl. Box

Mhoba Bushfire is a South African rum made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a pot still. Bottled at 55%, it has the kind of presence that puts the raw material and distillation style firmly in the foreground.
In the Drankenshop Broekmans selection, this bottle stands out for its combination of South African sugar cane juice rum and the influence of Sicklebush Tree. That points the character toward wood and spice, while the fruitier side remains clearly part of the profile.
There is no age statement here, so the focus is not on a number but on the style of the rum itself. With only the last bottles remaining, Mhoba Bushfire is a distinctive choice for anyone curious about the more individual side of South African rum.

English Harbour 90th Anniversary is a limited edition rum from Antigua, built around a blend of some of the rarest rums from Antigua Distillery. The rums in the blend have matured for 5 to 12 years, so the emphasis is not on a single age statement, but on the way different stages of maturity are brought together.
A major part of its personality comes from the range of casks used in the blend. Armagnac, Cognac, Calvados, Tokaji and Sauternes casks all contribute to a layered style, with fruit, nuts, pastry-like notes and spice woven through the rum's character.

Bally Grande Cuvee

Bally Grande Cuvee is built around a clear sense of occasion. Created as the Grande Cuvée du Siècle for 1923-2023, it pays tribute to the founding of J. Bally on the west coast of Martinique and to a century of French prestige associated with the name.
In the rum range at Drankenshop Broekmans, this release stands out because it brings different chapters of J. Bally together in one decanter. Marc Sassier blended vintages from 1929, 1939, 1955, 1975 and 2008, using their individual traits to shape the final composition: old wood, empyreumatic depth, fruitiness, roundness and cohesion.

Mount Gay Single Estate tells a very focused Barbados rum story. It comes from a series built around estate origin, following Mount Gay's 2015 acquisition of 131 hectares from the former Mount Gay Estate and Oxford Estate. That step marked the move towards an integrated approach, from sugar cane through to the finished bottle.
For this first release in the Single Estate Series, Master Blender Trudiann Branker created a blend from the 2016 and 2017 sugar cane harvests. The molasses comes from cane grown on the Mount Gay Estate, with fermentation, maturation and blending all taking place at the Mount Gay distillery. Ageing in old Quercus Alba bourbon casks gives the rum a mature, cask-influenced frame while keeping the Barbados estate origin at the centre of the story.

A1710 La Delivrande is an aged rum from Martinique, made from pure sugar cane juice and matured for more than six years on the estate. That combination gives it a clear identity: the cane juice base brings its own freshness and vegetal lift, while oak ageing adds depth, wood influence and a spiced edge.
Distillation in both pot still and column gives this rum a profile that feels expressive yet composed. At 48.8% ABV it has real presence, though the appeal is not simply its strength. The character moves through dark fruit, smoked wood, blond tobacco and roasted notes, with a long and intense close.

Diamond 2005 19y Sv (Nobilis Rum) Incl. Box

Diamond 2005 19y Sv is a Guyanese rum with a distinctly limited feel. A 2005 vintage, 19 years of age and a total outturn of just 151 bottles make it a far more focused release than a standard shelf rum.
Its strength of 61.2% gives the bottling a serious presence. This is the kind of rum to approach slowly, with time in the glass, especially for drinkers who appreciate powerful, small-release bottlings rather than widely available expressions.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a rum like this stands out because it brings together origin, age and scarcity in a very direct way. The indication that only the last bottles remain adds to the sense that this is a release with a limited window of availability.

The small scale matters here. This is a single cask rum bottled at cask strength, with only 224 bottles produced. That gives the bottle a clearly limited nature, and the fact that these are the last bottles makes its availability even more restrained.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Diamond sits comfortably among the more characterful rums for drinkers who enjoy mature, small-batch bottlings with a clear point of origin. Mmw Wedderburn Blend 11y Coffret 2x70cl is a Jamaican molasses rum bottled by Velier under the Velier and Scheer name. Its identity is built around a few very clear elements: Wedderburn style, 11 years of age, pot still distillation and a full cask strength bottling.
At 66.5% ABV, this is a rum with real force behind it. Bally Art Deco N°2 is a Martinique agricole rum with a clear sense of inspiration behind it. Its name looks back to the Art Deco movement, which was flourishing in France around the same period that Jacques Bally founded his namesake brand in the 1930s. In that sense, this cuvée is not just a decorative reference; it connects the bottle to the origins of J. Bally and to an era shaped by design, craft and architecture.
This is the second batch of the cuvée, and, like the previous version, it is built from three different vintages. For this release, the blend brings together 1999, 2006 and 2007.
