Rest & Be Thankful XO (Caribbean Jamaica/Guyana)
Only 2 left in stock!
Rest & Be Thankful XO brings together two different Caribbean rum traditions: Jamaican heavy pot still rum and Guyanese column still rum. Rather than leaning on a single origin or one distillation style, this blend is built around contrast, with vivid tropical fruit supported by a rounder, composed character.
The rums have been aged for at least 6 years. Fruit remains the main voice here, with banana and pineapple clearly standing out, while toffee, coffee, caramel and cacao add depth. At 40% ABV, it stays approachable without losing the personality of the Jamaica and Guyana components.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would point out to someone looking for a Caribbean bottle with more character than a simple sweet style, yet still (…)Providence 3y 2021 Incl. Box

Providence 3y 2021 is a Haitian sugar cane juice rum from the Port-au-Prince distillery. Founded in 2018 on the former Habitation Sarthe Providence estate, the distillery works with a 1,500-litre Müller pot still and is linked to the revival of double distillation in Haiti.
This 3-year-old release comes from a blend of casks that previously held Bourbon and Caroni rum. The result is not a heavy style, but one built around elegance, freshness and detail. Bottled at 52%, it keeps a lively, direct presence in the glass.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, Providence is the kind of rum that gives a clear sense of place and craft. Its fruity side is the most prominent, while gentle spice, wood, floral touches and a light vegetal note add extra dimension without taking (…)Hampden 8y 2017 H Ms#3 1,5l (Velier)

Hampden 8y 2017 H Ms#3 is a Jamaican rum with a distinctly expressive personality. This H edition, also referred to as Diamond H, shows the strength of the Hampden style through long fermentation, pot still distillation and tropical maturation. It is a rum built around concentration, mineral depth and a firm sense of character.
Matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled at 60% ABV, it keeps the intensity of the spirit clearly in focus. The 8 years of age add development, while the release of 600 bottles gives this Velier bottling a more selective feel than a broad standard expression.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who enjoy Jamaican rum with real presence. Ripe fruit, spice, a subtle smoky edge, mineral notes and sweeter accents (…)Providence 3y 2022 Incl. Box

Providence 3y 2022 is a Haitian rum with a very direct connection to sugar cane. It is produced at Distillerie de Port-au-Prince from sugar cane syrup made with the historic Cristalline variety, grown on Michel Sajous' fields around 150 kilometres north of the distillery.
The production method gives this release much of its personality. The cane juice is cooked down at high temperature into syrup using a traditional 19th-century approach. Fermentation follows with selected yeasts and dunder, before distillation in an artisanal Müller bain-marie pot still, bringing an old Haitian distilling technique back into focus.
The rum matured for three years in Haiti's tropical climate as a blend of 29 casks, drawn from former Caroni and Bourbon barrels. It is (…)Flor De Cana 12y + 1 Glass

Flor De Cana 12y + 1 Glass combines a Nicaraguan molasses rum with a gift presentation that feels genuinely complete. The 12-year age statement gives it a clear sense of maturity, while the 40% strength keeps the style approachable and easy to enjoy.
Maturation in Bourbon Barrel and multicolumn distillation point to a polished, composed rum rather than an overly heavy one. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that suits customers looking for a mature rum with a dependable, elegant profile.
The included glass makes this edition particularly well suited as a gift. It is a neat way to discover Flor De Cana, or to present a 12-year-old Nicaraguan rum in a thoughtful and ready-to-pour format.

Doorly's 3y White is a white rum from Barbados, bottled at 40%, with the product name pointing to three years of age. It is a straightforward bottle in the best sense: clear in origin, clear in style, and unmistakably part of the Doorly's rum range.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of rum where the essentials matter most. Barbados gives the bottle its geographical identity, while the white style sets it apart from darker rum expressions on the shelf.
Only the last bottles are still available in our selection. That does not change the nature of the rum, but it does make this Doorly's 3y White a bottle to keep in mind if this specific Barbados white rum is what you are looking for.

Ron El Rumbo Sd is a Cuban rum from El Rumbo, bottled at a firm 50% ABV. That strength gives it a more pronounced place on the shelf: this is not positioned as a light, easygoing rum, but as one with a stronger foundation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this naturally speaks to customers looking for Cuban rum with a little more weight than the usual standard-strength releases. Its origin and bottling strength are the key elements here.
With only the last bottles remaining, it also has a sense of limited availability. It has clearly found its audience without needing an elaborate story around it.

Foursquare 2010 15y from Cadenhead's is a Barbados rum from the Single Cask range, drawn from one bourbon barrel. That gives the bottle a very defined identity: not a broad house style, but the voice of one individual cask.
Made from molasses and distilled using pot still and column still, it is described as an elegant Barbados rum with structure and fresh spicy notes. At 55% ABV it has real presence, yet the supplied profile points more toward clarity, fruit and spice than sheer weight.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place in the hands of customers who enjoy limited, clearly traceable bottlings. With the last bottles indicated, it also carries that sense of a finite Cadenhead release: distilled in 2010, matured for 15 years and bottled (…)Trois Rivières Ambre

This bottling sits naturally within the Drankenshop Broekmans selection because it speaks to drinkers who appreciate precise, small-scale releases. The appeal here lies in the narrowness of the release. Only 262 bottles came from this single cask, so this is not a broad, repeatable style but a specific bottling tied to one individual maturation.

Fiji 2014 10y from Daily Dram is a molasses-based rum from Fiji, distilled using both pot still and column still. That gives it a firm, expressive backbone: the pot still side brings the distinctive funky edge, while the overall impression remains direct and well defined.
It spent 10 years in bourbon barrels and was bottled at cask strength, at 56% alcohol. This is a rum with presence rather than polish for its own sake, showing a clear fruity and spicy direction with only a moderate wood influence in support.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Daily Dram release we like to highlight because it is so specific: one cask, one 2014 vintage, 285 bottles. Fiji Spd 2009 12 Years by The Whisky Jury is a tightly focused rum release rather than a broad, ongoing expression. Distilled in September 2009 and bottled in May 2022, it captures twelve years of maturation from one individual cask.
Drawn from a refill barrel and bottled at cask strength, it comes in at 58.4% ABV. Only 190 bottles were filled, and at Drankenshop Broekmans this now belongs to the final bottles available, giving the release a naturally limited feel without needing to dress it up.
The For TasTToe bottling detail gives this edition an extra point of identity within The Whisky Jury's range. It is a bottle for drinkers who enjoy exploring rum through small releases, single casks and precise snapshots rather than standardised house styles.

Malecon Rare Proof 13y + 2 Glasses has a more assertive personality than a classic easy-going sipping rum. Bottled at 50.5%, it keeps the strength and density suggested by the Rare Proof name, while remaining clearly built for tasting rather than simply for impact.
The supplied information points to a 2009 distillation and a 2022 bottling, after at least 13 years of maturation. Ageing in American oak bourbon casks gives a natural context to the caramel and wood notes found in the tasting description. Cadenhead's treats these rums with the same respect for authenticity as its whisky bottlings.
