Neisson Empyreumatique Full Proof Incl. Box

Neisson Empyreumatique Full Proof is a Martinique rum made from sugar cane juice, with a character that immediately feels distinctive. The name refers to the Greek empyreuma, evoking charcoal used to rekindle a fire, and that idea runs through the style of the cuvée: toasted, grilled aromas, without an exaggerated oak imprint.
Matured for eight years and bottled at natural strength, it brings concentration without losing freshness. The blend includes rum aged in cognac and bourbon casks, giving depth and structure, while fruity, floral and spicy accents keep the profile lively. It is not simply about strength; the appeal lies in the way intensity and finesse sit together.

Neisson is presented as a pioneer in organic agriculture, adding an interesting dimension to the rum. The focus is not just on origin, but also on the way the raw material is treated and expressed.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would point out to someone interested in the fresher, more expressive side of agricole rum. The gift pack also makes it a thoughtful bottle to give to someone who enjoys a distinctly Caribbean rum style.

Uitvlugt French Savalle Still ICBU 1998 25y is a Guyanese rum built around origin, age and the individuality of a single cask. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2023, it brings together 25 years of maturation with the Uitvlugt name and the French Savalle Still reference.
Its appeal lies in its very specific presentation. This is a single cask rum, bottled at cask strength at 58.9%, with just 174 bottles drawn from that cask. Rather than a broad house style, it represents one particular parcel of rum at one particular point in time.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that speaks to customers who enjoy rum in a more direct and limited form. The last-bottles indication adds to that sense of scarcity: once this small release is gone, that (…)Neisson Carole Aurore Mizunara

Neisson Carole Aurore Mizunara
On request only
Neisson Carole Aurore Mizunara is a Martinique rum with a distinctly artistic dimension. Made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a traditional column style, it is bottled at 52.5%, giving the cuvée enough strength to carry its layered aromatic profile with confidence.
Its character comes from an equal-part blend of rums matured in two different types of oak. One part spent time in mizunara, the rare and highly sought-after Japanese oak, while the other was aged in new American oak, toasted in the style of Neisson Profil 107. That meeting of woods brings spice, structure and floral depth, while still leaving room for cane, fruit and freshness.
Every bottle was hand-painted by the Martinican artist Carole Aurore. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this (…)Neisson 2021 Straight From The Barrel Vieux Cognac

Neisson 2021 Straight From The Barrel Vieux Cognac is a cask strength agricole rum from Martinique, made from sugar cane juice and bottled at 58.9%. It has the directness suggested by its name: a rum kept close to the barrel, with concentration and presence rather than a polished, softened style.
It spent four years maturing in a 600-litre Cognac cask. The warm, humid conditions of the Vevert warehouses give it notable depth, while the cane-driven identity remains part of the conversation. The supplied profile points to a generous mix of fruit, spice, wood, floral touches and herbal accents.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who enjoy the more intense side of Martinique agricole. It is powerful, layered and expressive, with enough (…)Saint James Single Cask 2001

Saint James Single Cask 2001 is a Martinique sugar cane juice rum with a very specific identity: it was drawn from a single cask. Distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2016, it represents one particular cask from the Saint James distillery rather than a broader blended expression.
Maturation in oak barrels that previously held bourbon brings notes associated with vanilla, caramel and toasted wood. What makes the rum appealing is the way that cask influence sits alongside fruit, floral tones and spice, rather than simply dominating the spirit.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to present to customers who want to explore the more individual side of aged agricole-style rum. It has the structure of oak, the brightness of fruit and a measured (…)Trois Rivières Vo Cuvee Du Moulin

Saint James Cuvée 1765 is a rum from Martinique made from sugar cane juice, a style where the raw material remains close to the identity of the spirit. The name gives the cuvée a clear historical reference point, while the Saint James brand places it in a recognisable Martinique rum context.
It is traditionally column distilled and bottled at 42% alcohol. The stated bourbon cask element gives the rum a maturation angle, adding structure to a cane juice rum without shifting the focus away from its origin.

Marc Sassier blended vintages from 1929, 1939, 1955, 1975 and 2008, using their individual traits to shape the final composition: old wood, empyreumatic depth, fruitiness, roundness and cohesion.

Mount Gay Single Estate tells a very focused Barbados rum story. It comes from a series built around estate origin, following Mount Gay's 2015 acquisition of 131 hectares from the former Mount Gay Estate and Oxford Estate. That step marked the move towards an integrated approach, from sugar cane through to the finished bottle.
For this first release in the Single Estate Series, Master Blender Trudiann Branker created a blend from the 2016 and 2017 sugar cane harvests. The molasses comes from cane grown on the Mount Gay Estate, with fermentation, maturation and blending all taking place at the Mount Gay distillery. Ageing in old Quercus Alba bourbon casks gives the rum a mature, cask-influenced frame while keeping the Barbados estate origin at the centre of the story.
