Jamaica 2022 Teca (The Nectar - Daily Dram)
On request only
Jamaica 2022 Teca from Daily Dram is a clear-cut example of how assertive Jamaican molasses rum can be when it comes from a pot still. Distilled at Long Pond and bottled by The Nectar under the Daily Dram label, this is a single cask release presented at cask strength rather than softened into a more conventional style.
It was distilled in 2022 and bottled in September 2023 after maturation in virgin oak. The short age statement does not make it shy; the focus here is immediacy, aromatic impact and the raw personality of the distillate. With only 340 bottles drawn from the cask, it has the feel of a very specific, tightly framed release.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits in the rum selection as a bottle for drinkers who enjoy Jamaica in a more forceful (…)Savanna 2013 8y El Yard (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

Savanna 2013 8y El Yard (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

Savanna 2013 8y El Yard is a molasses rum from Réunion, bottled by Elizabeth Yard. Its appeal lies in its precision: one single cask, bottled at cask strength, with an alcoholic strength of 54.5%. It is not presented as a broad, softened house style, but as a focused selection from one individual cask.
Distilled in 2013 using a traditional column still and bottled on 8 June 2022 after 8 years of maturation, it belongs to the Elizabeth Yard with finishes range. The wine cask forms part of the identity of this release, adding to the sense that this is a very specific bottling rather than a standard expression.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for their small-scale nature and clear individuality. With only 140 bottles released and (…)Chamarel 2017 Habvel Incl. Box

Chamarel 2017 Habvel is a Mauritian rum made from sugar cane juice and bottled under the Velier name. It sits firmly in the more expressive side of rum, where the natural, green and aromatic qualities of cane take the lead rather than overt sweetness.
Distilled in 2017 on a pot still and bottled in 2026 at 9 years old, this is a single cask release with a Cognac finish. At 63%, it has the directness and concentration one would expect from a cask-strength bottling drawn from one individual cask.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place in front of customers who enjoy distinctive cask selections and want something with a clear identity. With the last bottles now available, it also carries the appeal of a limited release that captures one (…)Australia 2007 13y (1423 Single Barrel Selection)

Australia 2007 13y (1423 Single Barrel Selection)
Very last one in stock!
Australia 2007 13y from 1423 Rum World Class is an Australian molasses rum with a very focused identity: distilled in 2007, matured for 13 years and bottled in February 2020 from a single bourbon barrel. It is a pot still rum, released at cask strength at 55%, keeping the presentation close to the individual cask.
Its limited nature is central to the appeal. Only 323 bottles were drawn from this single cask, and the remaining stock is now down to the last bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, a rum like this stands out because it is not a broad blended style, but a specific Australian cask release with a clear vintage and maturation story.
The flavour direction points more towards fruit and vegetal notes than pronounced sweetness. Light touches of wood, spice (…)Clement Blanc 1l

Clément Blanc 1l is a white rum made from sugar cane juice, a style where the raw material takes the lead. With no wood influence indicated, the focus stays on a clean and direct profile: floral and fruity in tone, with a light spicy and vegetal edge beneath it.
Traditional column distillation supports that clear, fresh character. At 40% alcohol, it has enough presence without moving away from the approachable nature of a white cane juice rum. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to customers who want a white rum built around cane freshness rather than oak or sweetness.

Clément 1l is a French rum with a clear point of difference: a generous one-litre bottle and a firm 50% alcohol strength. It is not presented as a quiet, understated rum, but as a bottle with real presence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Clément is the kind of name that draws attention among rum drinkers, especially in this larger format. With only the last bottles remaining, it is also a release that will not stay in the selection indefinitely.
No detailed tasting notes are provided for this Clément. The key point is its 50% strength, giving the bottle a more assertive profile. It is best approached with a little attention, particularly if you enjoy rum at a higher alcohol level.El Amparo

El Amparo is an Ecuadorian rum made from sugar cane juice, built around the Cubana Negra cane variety. The cane is grown and harvested according to traditional practices carried through three generations, giving this rum a strong sense of agricultural origin rather than a polished, anonymous style.
Fermentation begins naturally with indigenous yeasts in vats of 1000 to 3000 litres and lasts 5 to 7 days, depending on the sugar concentration of the must at harvest. Distillation takes place in a single run through a 500-litre copper pot still. The spirit leaves the still at around 60%, and this first batch of El Amparo was bottled at that still strength.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum with real immediacy. It is not driven by sweetness or wood, (…)Mhoba 2020 Single Cask Bourbon Nectar

Mhoba 2020 Single Cask Bourbon Nectar is a South African rum made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a pot still. That already places it in a more distinctive corner of the rum world, with the raw material playing a central role in the identity of the spirit.
This release is all about focus and small-scale character. It was drawn from a single Bourbon Barrel and bottled at cask strength, 57.4%, with just 142 bottles produced. Rather than a broad house style, it presents one individual cask in a concentrated form.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that adds depth to a rum selection: South African origin, cane juice production, pot still distillation and single cask bottling come together in a rum with a clearly defined place of its (…)Hampden 8 Marks 8*20cl

Hampden 8 Marks 8*20cl is best seen as a discovery set rather than a single-bottle rum. It brings together eight different marks from Hampden Estate in Jamaica, each in a 20 cl format, giving the drinker a way to explore several sides of the same estate in one giftpack.
The foundation is firmly set: molasses rum, pot still distillation and bottling at 60%. That strength underlines its cask strength presentation and gives the set a direct, uncompromising feel. There is no age statement driving the story here; the focus is on comparison, intensity and the differences between the marks.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Hampden set sits comfortably among rums chosen for people who like to taste with attention, share a structured tasting, or give a rum gift with (…)Renegade Dunfermline Pot

Hampden LROK 2013 13y is a Jamaican rum with a very clear sense of place and style. Bottled by Nobilis Rum as Nobilis #56 Jamaica HD 2013, it comes from Hampden Distillery and carries the LROK mark. Pot still distillation and a high ester profile set the direction: expressive tropical fruit, strength and concentration rather than a polished, softened style.
All maturation took place continentally, but this particular cask stands out because of its low fill level and high angel's share.
