Abc De Christian Drouin

ABC de Christian Drouin is an apple-based aperitif shaped with the mindset of classic vermouth. The Drouin family has been devoted to the cider apple for three generations, using it for cider, Pommeau, Calvados and gin. With ABC, Guillaume Drouin takes that same apple heritage and gives it a different expression.
The name stands for Apéritif à base de Calvados. It is made by blending apple must with young Calvados, then allowing the mixture to mature further in oak. A selection of botanicals and spices, including mugwort, orange, cinnamon, elderflower and yuzu, adds the aromatic structure. The result keeps apple at its core, while bringing in the herbal, spicy and gently bitter tension expected from an aperitif.
