Château Tayac Cuvée Nicolas 2019 is a red wine from Margaux in the Médoc, produced by Château Tayac in Soussans. It comes from a family estate with vineyards on gravelly slopes, where gravel and clay-limestone elements shape the setting of this Left Bank Bordeaux.
The wine is built around classic Bordeaux varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Its production includes a cold pre-fermentation maceration, temperature-controlled fermentation and around 10 to 12 months of ageing in French oak barriques. That gives the 2019 a composed Margaux character, with dark fruit, structure and oak-derived notes forming a wine made very much with the table in mind.
