    Clos Du Milieu 2022 is a red wine from Castillon, made under the responsibility of Château Angélus. Its character begins with a very specific origin: a single Merlot-planted plot in Castillon-la-Bataille, only a few kilometres from Saint-Émilion.

    The vineyard sits high on the slope, enclosed by hedges, on deep, cool clay-limestone soils. Château Angélus describes these soils as contributing freshness, tension and density, and that idea runs through the wine. Clos Du Milieu is not presented as a broad Bordeaux blend, but as a focused Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux expression within the wider Angélus range.
