Mars Maltage Cosmo Incl. Box

Mars Maltage Cosmo is a Japanese blended malt whisky with a fruit-led personality. It does not build its identity around peat smoke or heavy intensity; instead, it presents malt whisky in a cleaner, more open style where fruit has the central role.
Bottled at 43% and released without an age statement, Cosmo is shaped more by its overall style than by a declared maturation age. Light floral, woody, spicy and salty touches add definition around the fruit, while peat stays out of the picture.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits well among Japanese whiskies for drinkers looking to explore a blended malt with a clear fruity direction and a gentle, unpeated profile.
The flavour profile is mainly fruit-driven, supported by gentle floral notes and (…)Glenglassaugh 12y

Glenglassaugh 12y
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 06/11/2026Glenglassaugh 12y is a notable release for the distillery, as it is its first age-stated expression. After twelve years of maturation, this Scottish single malt gives a clear impression of the Glenglassaugh style: ripe fruit, a distinct maritime accent and an unpeated character.
The whisky matured in a combination of bourbon casks, sherry casks and casks that previously held red wine. That mix adds layers, while the fruit-driven side remains at the centre. Its bright golden colour suits a malt where gentle wood, light spice, generous fruit and a sea-breeze freshness come together naturally.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we point out to customers looking for a Speyside single malt with more than straightforward fruitiness. Bottled at (…)The Cargill 2016 5y (Adelphi) Incl. Box

The Cargill 2016 5y (Adelphi) Incl. Box
On request only
The Cargill 2016 5y is not a routine Scottish blended malt. Its character comes from an unusual meeting point: Ardnamurchan from the Highlands and Cardrona from New Zealand brought together in an innovative transcontinental fusion.
Four different casks sit behind this release, with bourbon and pinot noir influences shaping the whisky. The fruit is clearly part of the conversation, while wood, gentle spice, floral touches and a light salty edge add supporting detail. Bottled at cask strength, 57.4%, it keeps a direct and energetic feel.
Distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2021, this 5-year-old release was limited to 1200 bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out for the way it steps outside the expected path: no peat-driven profile, but a vivid whisky (…)Hammer Head 1989 23y

Hammer Head 1989 23y
On request only
Hammer Head 1989 23y is a Czech single malt with a clear sense of time behind it. Distilled in 1989 and matured for 23 years, it stands apart from the more familiar whisky origins while still speaking the language of single malt.
European oak gives the whisky its maturation framework, but the supplied flavour profile points most strongly toward fruit. Wood and spice are present in a supporting role, with a light floral touch adding extra detail. Peat and salty notes are not part of the main picture here, so the focus stays on a fruit-led, gently structured style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value bottlings like this because they bring something different to the shelf without relying on noise or exaggeration: a 23-year-old single malt from the Czech Republic, (…)Starward 100 Proof Incl. Box

Starward 100 Proof is an Australian single malt bottled at 50%, fully matured in ex-red wine American oak casks from the Barossa Valley. The cask story is not a background detail here; it is the heart of the whisky's personality.
Cabernet and Shiraz leave a clear mark, bringing ripe fruit depth, a vinous richness and the warm presence of American oak. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a fine example of how Starward gives single malt whisky a distinctly Australian voice, with wine cask maturation taking centre stage.
With no age statement, the focus stays firmly on flavour and cask influence. Starward 100 Proof is a bold, fruit-led whisky with enough strength in the glass to carry its darker, sweeter and spiced notes with confidence.

Jameson Five Oak Single Pot Still

Jameson Five Oak Single Pot Still shows a more specialist side of Jameson. It remains firmly Irish in identity, yet the Single Pot Still style and 46% strength give it a more defined presence than many drinkers might associate with the name.
Although Five Oak draws attention to the oak element, the available profile points first of all to fruit. Wood, spice and a light floral touch sit around that fruity centre rather than taking over. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Jameson we like to place in front of someone who knows the brand but wants to explore a more characterful Irish whiskey style.
There is no age statement attached to this release, so the focus stays on the style itself: Irish Single Pot Still whiskey with a clear fruit-driven profile (…)Green Spot Montelana Tube Incl.

Green Spot Montelana is an Irish Pure Pot Still whiskey shaped by a wine finish, giving this release a clearly fruit-led personality. The wine cask influence brings the fruit forward, while gentle wood, spice and a light floral note sit more in the background.
At 46% alcohol, it has enough presence to carry that style without moving into smoky or salty territory. The emphasis is on fruit and subtle supporting detail rather than heaviness.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Green Spot Montelana fits neatly among Irish whiskeys for drinkers who enjoy the Pure Pot Still style and want to explore it with an added wine-cask dimension.
The flavour profile is led by fruit, with wood, spice and a light floral touch playing a more restrained supporting role.

Clonakilty Port Finish is an Irish blended whiskey built around the influence of its port cask finish rather than an age statement. That finishing choice gives the whiskey a clear identity: fruit comes through as the main theme, with lighter touches of wood, spice and a floral note in support.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Irish whiskey we value for its defined style and limited nature. Only 1000 bottles were released, and these are the last bottles, giving the bottling a sense of scarcity without turning the focus away from the whiskey itself.
Bottled at 43.6%, it has a little more presence than many standard-strength releases, while keeping its profile centred on fruit and gentle spice. Further information about the distillery can be found (…)Irish Single Malt 2003 16y (The Whisky Agency)

Irish Single Malt 2003 16y (The Whisky Agency)

Irish Single Malt 2003 16y from Bushmills is very much a whisky about one individual cask. Distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2019, it spent sixteen years maturing in a Bourbon Barrel before being bottled at cask strength.
That gives it a different place from a regular ongoing release. A single cask bottling captures one particular barrel at one particular point in time, without being blended into a broader house profile. At 51.9% ABV, it keeps a firm natural strength and a direct connection to the cask it came from.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this stands out as a limited Irish single malt with real scarcity around it: single cask, cask strength and now down to the last bottles. For anyone exploring Bushmills beyond the standard expressions, this 2003 vintage (…)The Irishman Harvest

Triple distillation and maturation in bourbon casks shape its style. The result is fruit-led, with gentle spice, malt and soft oak playing supporting roles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Irish whiskey we like to introduce to customers looking for something with a little more depth, without peat smoke or heavy flavours.

Its character is led by fruit, with lighter floral, woody and spicy touches supporting it. Peat is not part of the profile, so the whiskey stays away from smoke and keeps its attention on a softer, fruit-driven style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, The Busker Triple Cask sits naturally among Irish whiskeys for customers looking for a blended style with some cask nuance, while remaining clear and approachable at 40% alcohol.

Teeling Single Grain 15y captures the way Teeling approaches Irish whiskey: open-minded, progressive and willing to explore new directions within the category. This 15 year old single grain is made from a recipe of 95% corn and 5% malted barley, reflecting the brand's focus on Irish Single Grain as a distinctive style in its own right.
Its maturation gives the whiskey much of its personality. It was first aged in ex-bourbon casks, then given a further twelve months in ex-sauvignon blanc wine casks. That extra wine-cask influence sits naturally alongside the fresh fruit notes described in the tasting profile, from citrus and grapefruit to green apple and delicate floral hints.

Yakushima is central to the identity of this whisky. The island has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993 and is known for its hot, tropical climate and high humidity. It is even said to rain there 35 days a month.
