Togouchi Premium Blend is a Japanese blended whisky with a calm, understated style. Rather than leaning heavily in one direction, it brings together gentle floral notes, light fruit, a touch of spice and a modest peated accent.
At 40% alcohol, it stays in a composed and approachable register. The whisky is associated with oak cask maturation, yet the supplied flavour profile does not point towards a strongly woody character. Its appeal lies more in restraint and subtle detail than in weight or intensity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Togouchi Premium Blend as a fitting choice for customers looking to explore Japanese blended whisky in a softer, more nuanced style.

Highland Park 14y Loyalty Of The Wolf is a Scotch single malt from Orkney, bottled at 42.3% and presented here in a generous one-litre format. With 14 years of age, it sits in an appealing middle ground for Highland Park: mature enough to feel developed, without being framed as a heavy or forceful whisky.
The cask background brings together sherry and bourbon influence. Rather than pointing to a strongly wood-led style, the available profile suggests a gentler composition, with light fruit, spice, floral notes and a restrained touch of peat. That makes the whisky feel more about measured detail than one dominant flavour direction.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out as a Speyburn with a slightly different accent. It carries no age statement, so the focus is on the chosen style and the way the peated cask shapes the whisky. Bottled at 46%, it has a little extra weight compared with many lighter everyday single malts.

Valdespino Rare Spirits Malt Whisky
In stock
Valdespino Rare Spirits Malt Whisky comes with a background that immediately sets it apart. In 1955, Valdespino, then supplying sherry casks to a Scottish distillery, purchased a small selection of malt whisky to mature further in Jerez de la Frontera. That gives this whisky a direct connection to both malt whisky tradition and Valdespino's sherry heritage.
On average, it spent 12 years maturing in casks that had previously held Palo Cortado and Oloroso. Rather than feeling like a standard release, it carries the imprint of old sherry wood, time and a very specific cellar history in Jerez.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that adds real character to a specialist whisky selection. With 3000 bottles produced and the final bottles now in (…)English Whisky Chapter 9 20cl

English Whisky Chapter 4 20cl

English Whisky Chapter 4 20cl is a concise introduction to The English Whisky Co. from Great Britain. The name places it firmly in the world of English whisky, while the New Spirit classification points towards a more immediate style rather than a heavily mature, age-stated whisky.
The most interesting detail here is the single cask origin, connected to a Bourbon Barrel. This is not a broad blend designed to smooth out every edge, but a small-format bottling tied to one individual cask. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are especially useful for customers who enjoy exploring a very specific style without committing to a full bottle, and the last-bottles status adds a sense of scarcity.

Ardmore 2011 14y is a Highland single cask with a distinctly smoky direction. The interesting part is the meeting point: Ardmore's firm, dry Highland peat set against the influence of an ex-Laphroaig cask, described here as an Islay Finish. In the range at Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as a whisky where the peat is not just present, but shaped by two different smoky identities.
Blackadder bottled it as part of the Raw Cask series at natural cask strength, 59.3% ABV, without chill filtration and without added colour. That keeps the whisky close to the cask, with a direct and energetic feel rather than a polished or softened presentation.
Distilled in 2011 and bottled in February 2026, this 14-year-old Ardmore is a clearly defined single cask release. (…)Inchfad 2016 9y Awwif (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers)

The long finish of almost five years and seven months in a Virgin Oak Barrel gives this whisky its particular voice. The peat does not dominate as heavy smoke; it sits more as a soft phenolic layer beneath a sweet, wood-led generosity. That makes the whisky feel expressive and forceful, with oak influence playing a central role.
