Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 12

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 12
On request only
Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 12 is a Campbeltown single malt with a clear peated focus, yet its sweetness remains an important part of the experience. This 2025 release in the Kilkerran Peat in Progress series is bottled at cask strength, at 58.4%, keeping the whisky close to its natural intensity.
The maturation gives useful context to its style: 90% bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks. That combination places the emphasis on sweeter, creamier tones, with the sherry influence playing a more restrained role. At eight years old, with pronounced peat and spice, it has a direct and energetic character rather than a heavily polished one.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottling we like to present to customers who appreciate a whisky with a clear (…)Thy 2017-19 (Berry Bros Nordic Casks)

Thy 2017-19 (Berry Bros Nordic Casks)
On request only
Thy 2017-19 is a Danish single malt with a very focused sense of place and release. Bottled by Berry Bros as part of the Nordic Casks range, it comes from a single cask and was bottled at cask strength, reaching 57.6% ABV. With only 235 bottles filled, this is a small-scale whisky rather than a broad house style.
The multivintage character gives the bottling an extra point of interest. It brings together different vintages under the 2017-19 name and was bottled in 2022 after quarter cask maturation. That combination places the emphasis on a concentrated, individual cask-driven presentation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits naturally among the whiskies we like to introduce to curious single malt drinkers: distinctive origin, limited outturn, independent (…)Croftenga 2005 16y Awwif (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers)

Croftenga 2005 16y Awwif (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers)
On request only
Croftenga 2005 16y Awwif is a Highland single malt bottled at cask strength, coming in at 56.4%. Distilled on 23 February 2005 and bottled on 1 March 2021, it spent 16 years maturing before being released.
Its appeal lies in its very specific origin: one Pedro Ximenez cask, bottled by Alistair Walker as part of the Infrequent Flyers range. With 605 bottles drawn from that single cask, this is not a whisky built around a house style, but a focused release showing the personality of one individual cask.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value bottlings like this because they give whisky drinkers something concrete to explore: age, cask, strength and provenance all coming together in a limited release. The last available bottles underline that scarcity, while the (…)Kyro Peat Smoke Incl. Box

Kyro Peat Smoke Incl. Box

Kyrö Peat Smoke is a Finnish rye whisky with a very distinctive starting point: 100% Finnish malted rye, smoked for 24 hours with Finnish freshwater peat. The result is not just a layer of smoke, but a more earthy, moss-like peat character that stays closely connected to the rye itself.
What makes it stand out is the way the peat, wholegrain malted rye and warm spice build one coherent style. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like placing this next to more familiar smoky whiskies, because it shows a different side of peat: shaped by Finnish raw material and carried by rye rather than by convention.
Bottled at 47.2%, Kyro Peat Smoke has enough strength to express its smoky and spicy profile clearly, while still leaving room for sweetness and a light fruity (…)Glen Moray 10y Peated Tequila Finish

Glen Moray 10y Peated Tequila Finish
On request only
Glen Moray 10y Peated Tequila Finish is a Speyside single malt with a distinctly different angle: lightly peated Glen Moray, matured first in bourbon casks and then finished in smoked tequila casks. As part of the Warehouse 1 range, this 10-year-old release brings together familiar Speyside malt character with a finish that adds lift and originality.
The peat and smoke are clear, yet they do not turn the whisky into something heavy. There is a sweeter, lively side running through it, with the tequila cask influence adding another layer rather than taking over. Bottled at 58.5% cask strength, non chill-filtered and with natural colour, it presents the whisky in a direct and expressive form.

Corsair Triple Smoke is an American whiskey with a name that sets the tone straight away. Smoke is the defining idea here, giving the bottle a clear identity within the American whiskey category.
Maturation in American Oak brings a modest wood influence, with lighter touches of spice and fruit around it. There is no age statement, so the focus falls more on the whiskey's style and flavour direction than on a declared maturation age.
With 600 bottles released and the last bottles now in view, Drankenshop Broekmans sees this as a particularly interesting choice for anyone drawn to a smoky take on American whiskey.
The flavour profile is clearly built around smoke. Around that main line, there are lighter impressions of wood, spice and fruit, (…)Connemara Distillers Edition Tube Incl.

Connemara Distillers Edition is an Irish single malt with a clearly smoky and spicy direction. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it presents itself through style: peat, oak cask maturation and a flavour profile with real presence.
The oak cask influence supports the whiskey without making wood the whole story. Peated smoke and spice sit at the centre, with lighter touches of fruit and a subtle salty edge around them. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good choice for customers looking for an Irish single malt with more depth and smoky definition.
Bottled at 43%, Connemara Distillers Edition keeps a measured strength while still showing a distinct personality. Its appeal lies in that combination of Irish single malt character and a more (…)Benriach 2009 12y Lmdw

Benriach 2009 12y LMDW is a Speyside single malt built around the individuality of one cask. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2021 at 12 years old, it presents a more specific snapshot of Benriach than a regular core-range release.
The port maturation and cask strength bottling at 59.8% give this whisky a firm presence. Its profile points towards clearly expressed spice and peat, with lighter fruity, floral and woody elements around them rather than dominating the experience.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued because they show whisky in a more focused form: one cask, one limited outturn, one particular interpretation. The Manzanilla cask adds an intriguing frame to a profile built around peat smoke and spice. There is a light salty edge, with fruit and wood sitting more in support than in the foreground. That makes the whisky feel driven by contrast: mature, smoky, spicy and just touched by saline character.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Ballechin we would point out to someone looking for a Highland single malt with more tension and structure than softness. The small batch nature adds to the sense of a specific, (…)Ardbeg 2000 23y Y2k Incl. Box

Ardbeg 2000 23y Y2k is a mature Islay single malt with a very clear identity: distilled in 2000, aged for 23 years and matured in sherry casks. It presents Ardbeg through the lens of time, giving the whisky a more considered and distinctive place than a standard release.
The Y2k name draws attention to the 2000 vintage, while the 23-year age statement brings the sense of a long-matured bottling. The sherry maturation adds another dimension around the distillery's smoky and spicy side, with the available profile suggesting that wood influence remains present rather than dominant.

Caperdonich 25y Peated Small Batch is a Speyside single malt with a clear smoky side. That is what gives this whisky its point of difference: it carries the maturity of a 25 year old malt, but with peat smoke and spice taking a meaningful role in the overall character.
The hogshead maturation appears as a supporting influence rather than a heavy layer of oak. The profile stays focused on smoke and spice, with lighter fruit and a subtle salty edge adding extra definition.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Caperdonich as a whisky for drinkers who enjoy Speyside malt with more force and depth. Bottled at cask strength at 58.1%, it keeps a firm, concentrated presence, very much in line with the small batch nature of the release.

Caol Ila 2010 14y #311745 (Berry Bros)
On request only
Caol Ila 2010 14y #311745 comes from Berry Bros & Rudd's Coasts & Shores series, a range built around distilleries shaped by remarkable coastal settings. Caol Ila fits that theme naturally. The distillery sits near Port Askaig on Islay's east coast, sheltered from the Atlantic, in a place where sea air and peat are part of the whisky's identity rather than decorative details.
Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2024, this single malt spent 14 years maturing. It began in a 1st fill hogshead before being finished in an active Pedro Ximenez cask. That finish brings a darker, sweeter dimension to the whisky, giving the coastal and smoky Caol Ila style a layer of raisined richness and deeper sweetness.

Islay 26y Macb belongs to Elixir Distillers' Macbeth Collection, a series of 42 Scotch whiskies linked to characters from Shakespeare's tragedy.
