Amrut 2015 7y Oloroso
On request only
Amrut 2015 7y Oloroso is an Indian single malt with a very clearly defined identity: distilled in 2015, matured for seven years and drawn from a single Oloroso Sherry cask. Rather than presenting a broad house style, this bottling focuses on the personality of one individual cask.
Bottled at cask strength, at 60% alcohol, it carries a firm and concentrated presence. The Oloroso Sherry cask sits naturally alongside a profile where fruit, spice and wood are clearly part of the picture, supported by a lighter floral note.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we place in front of customers who enjoy precise, limited single cask releases. With only the last bottles remaining, it feels like a specific snapshot of Amrut seen through the lens of (…)Aberlour 16y Double Cask Tube Incl.

Aberlour 16y Double Cask Tube Incl.

Aberlour 16y Double Cask is a Speyside single malt built around time and cask influence. Sixteen years of maturation give the whisky room to develop, while the combination of sherry and bourbon casks points to a style where fruit, spice and oak take the lead rather than peat or salinity.
The Double Cask name is more than a technical detail here. It frames the whisky's personality: sherry cask richness on one side, bourbon cask wood influence on the other. That makes this Aberlour a good example of a mature Scottish single malt where the interest comes from cask layering and patience, not from smoke-driven power.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky for customers looking for a 16-year-old single malt with clear maturation character and a composed (…)Mars Komagatake 40th Anniversary

Mars Komagatake 40th Anniversary

Mars Komagatake 40th Anniversary was created to mark the 40th anniversary of the distillery founded in 1985. It is a Japanese single malt built around time itself, bringing together whiskies distilled in the 1980s, 1990s, 2010s and 2020s.
What makes the composition especially telling is the deliberate absence of the 2000s, the period during which the distillery was closed. In that sense, this bottle does more than celebrate a milestone; it reflects four decades of activity, interruption and renewal. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky whose background adds real meaning to the tasting experience.
Maturation in bourbon, sherry and American white oak casks gives the whisky its layered structure. Fruit, spice and wood form the main lines of its (…)Mars 2020 4y Tsunuki Yak

Mars 2020 4y Tsunuki Yak
Very last one in stock!
Mars 2020 4y Tsunuki Yak is a Japanese single malt from Mars Maltage with a very focused cask story. Distilled on 23 March 2020 and bottled on 20 May 2024, it matured for four years in a Sherry Hogshead before being bottled at cask strength, at 58.2%.
Rather than presenting a wide composition of different casks, this is a single cask release with just 241 bottles drawn from that one hogshead. With the last bottles now indicated, it has the discreet scarcity that makes this kind of release stand apart. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value bottlings like this for the clear view they give of one cask, one maturation path and one precise moment in time.
The stated flavour profile points towards fruit, spice and wood, supported by a lighter floral note. Peat and (…)Chichibu 2013 Virgin

Chichibu 2013 Virgin

Chichibu 2013 Virgin is a Japanese single malt with a very defined sense of place and cask. Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2020, it comes from a single Virgin Oak cask and was released at cask strength, carrying its natural intensity at 50.9% ABV.
The appeal here lies in its focus. This is not a broad vatting designed for consistency across many casks; it is one individual cask, captured in a limited run of 212 bottles. The Virgin Oak element gives the wood an important role in the story, supported by a profile where wood, spice and fruit all stand clearly forward.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for those who follow rare Japanese single malts with a clear cask identity. With only the last bottles remaining and its status as a collector's (…)Balvenie 40y

Balvenie 40y is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky where age is the central part of the conversation. After forty years of maturation, the emphasis shifts away from youthful immediacy and towards patience, maturity and the slow influence of cask ageing.
The use of bourbon and sherry casks gives this Balvenie a broad foundation. According to the supplied flavour profile, fruit, spice and wood are clearly present, with a lighter floral accent in the background. Peat is not part of the picture here, so the focus remains on mature cask character rather than smoke.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would present to someone looking for an aged Speyside single malt with calm depth and a refined style. At 42.2% alcohol, it stays measured, (…)Arran The Explorers Series N°4 Drumadoon Point Incl. Box

Arran The Explorers Series N°4 Drumadoon Point is a Scottish single malt from the Isle of Arran with maturity and release character at its centre. Aged for 23 years, sherry matured and bottled at cask strength at 49.5%, it sits firmly in the more serious side of Arran's range.
As the fourth release in The Explorers Series, it was bottled in an edition of 9,000 bottles. With only the last bottles remaining and the whisky marked as a collector's item, there is a clear sense of scarcity here, but the appeal is not only in the limited nature of the release. Its Madeira maturation gives this release a distinctive place in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection. Rather than a broad house-style expression, this is a focused cask bottling where wood influence, fruit and spice shape the main impression, with a lighter floral element adding lift.
As a single cask bottling from cask #903, it captures one specific maturation path. With the last bottles now indicated, this is a particularly finite Edradour release for drinkers who enjoy (…)Chivas Extra 13y Irish Whiskey Cask 1l Incl. Box

Chivas Extra 13y Irish Whiskey Cask 1l brings a familiar Scotch blended whisky name together with a cask finish that immediately gives the bottle its point of difference. It remains firmly within the Chivas Regal style of blended Scotch, yet the Irish Whiskey Cask reference adds a distinct angle to the release.
The 13-year age statement gives this whisky a clear identity beyond a standard non-age-stated blend. Rather than presenting itself as a highly technical bottling, it is a Chivas expression built around a recognisable brand, added maturity and the extra dimension of its whisky cask finish.

The use of bourbon and sherry casks gives the whisky its framework. The supplied profile points towards fruit, spice and wood as the main elements, with a lighter floral note in support. Bottled at 43%, it keeps a classic drinking strength while still carrying a clearly shaped character.

Aultmore 14y Tb is a Speyside single malt with a maturation story that deserves attention. That makes the whisky feel more considered than a straightforward age statement alone might suggest.
