Bowmore 1989 23y Port
Very last one in stock!
Bowmore 1989 23y Port is a Scottish Islay single malt built around a very precise set of elements: 23 years of age, port cask maturation and a natural cask strength of 50.8%. It is the kind of Bowmore where the cask story and the age statement immediately set the tone.
The supplied flavour profile points towards fruit and spice as the main accents, with wood and peat playing a more restrained supporting role. That makes the style particularly interesting within the Islay context: the peat is present, but it is not the dominant feature. The port maturation gives the whisky its fruit-driven and spiced direction.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are approached as special releases rather than everyday single malts. With its last-bottles indication and (…)Highland Park Saxo 2003 15y Single Cask

Highland Park Saxo 2003 15y Single Cask
On request only
Highland Park Saxo 2003 15y Single Cask is a Scottish single malt from Orkney built around a very focused idea: one cask, fifteen years of maturation and a limited outturn of 605 bottles. Distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2018, it captures a specific cask rather than the broader style of a larger release.
The sherry maturation and cask strength bottling give this Highland Park a firm presence. At 59.8% ABV, it speaks with real concentration, with the profile centred on fruit and spice, supported by a lighter touch of wood and a gentle peated note.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued for their precision and limited nature. The collector's item appeal is grounded in the details: a single cask Highland Park, matured for 15 years, bottled at (…)Maclean's Nose

Maclean's Nose

Maclean's Nose is a blended Scotch whisky with a clear west coast Scottish identity. Its make-up gives it real substance: 70% malt whisky, supported by a generous proportion of casks that previously held sherry. It does not come across as a neutral blend, but as a whisky with weight, colour and a distinct point of view.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Maclean's Nose as the kind of blend that deserves a proper introduction. It is bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and presented at natural colour, choices that help preserve the whisky's original depth and texture.
There is also thought behind the presentation. This limited edition consists of 25,000 bottles, and the label is made from ground barley paper, a by-product of whisky production. It is a small (…)Starward Peated Finish Incl. Box

Starward Peated Finish Incl. Box

Starward Peated Finish takes the familiar fruit-driven Starward style in a more unexpected direction. Starward does not use its own peated whisky here; instead, this Australian single malt first matured in red wine casks before being moved into peated Islay casks.
The release follows the earlier Unexpeated experiment. That first version spent 18 months in peated Islay casks, while this Peated Finish was given an additional 9 months in that same cask influence. Rather than turning into a heavily peated whisky, it keeps its Starward identity, with fruit, spice, oak and a smoky edge woven together.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point to when someone enjoys Starward's fruit-forward character but wants to explore it with a maritime, (…)Oban 12y Special Reserve 2025 Tube Incl.

Oban 12y Special Reserve 2025 captures the distillery's position between the Highlands and the islands, with a style that brings together rounded malt fruit and a fresh coastal edge.
Matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at cask strength, at 54.7%, it has more presence than a standard-strength release while keeping its maritime clarity. Fruit and spice are clearly part of the picture, supported by a light touch of smoke and the freshness of the sea.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to highlight for customers who want to taste Oban in a more concentrated form. With the last bottles now indicated, this 2025 Special Reserve has become a release to consider while it is still available.

Scapegrace Fortitude V

Scapegrace Fortitude V is a New Zealand single malt with a very deliberate sense of identity. It belongs to Scapegrace's second limited release and focuses on young whisky shaped by distinctive grain and active oak, rather than relying on age as the main story.
The whisky is 3 years old and comes from 100-litre French virgin oak casks. That combination gives the maturation a clear voice, while the flavour profile points more strongly towards fruit and spice than heavy wood. The listed grain type, Manuka Smoked Laureate, adds another point of interest and helps set Fortitude V apart within the single malt category.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place among the more exploratory whiskies in the range. Limited to 8843 bottles and (…)Amrut 10y Artist (La Maison Du Whisky - Artist Collection)

Amrut 10y Artist shows Indian single malt through the lens of La Maison du Whisky's Artist Collection. Rather than a broad release, this is a single cask whisky, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2020 at ten years of age.
The Pedro Ximenez cask gives the bottling a clear point of focus, while the 63.9% cask strength keeps the presentation powerful and direct. It feels like a close-up view of one particular Amrut cask, bottled without being softened into a larger batch.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued for their specificity: one cask, 279 bottles, and now down to the last bottles. It is the kind of whisky that invites attention from drinkers who enjoy limited single cask bottlings with a strong sense of origin and selection.

At 63.7% ABV, this is clearly a cask strength release with a direct presence. Yet the supplied tasting note points to more than sheer power. Alongside the high strength there is a surprisingly elegant side, with exotic fruit, floral honey and a mineral touch shaping the whisky's personality.

Aberlour Triple Cask is a Speyside single malt from Scotland with the cask influence placed firmly at the centre of the style. The name points towards layered maturation, while the supplied cask information highlights sherry and bourbon as key influences in the whisky's make-up.

The profile leans towards fruit and spice, with wood playing a lighter supporting role rather than dominating the whisky. Bottled at 40%, it sits in a familiar and easy-going single malt style.

Yoichi Aromatic Yeast 2022 is a Japanese single malt where the name immediately suggests the focus: aroma, detail and a style built around expressive flavour rather than an age statement. At 48% ABV, it has enough strength to carry that character with confidence. It does not rely on a stated age to explain itself; the interest lies in the specific direction of the release and in the way its aromatic side is presented.

Bowmore 26y Trilogy is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a strong sense of age, cask influence and rarity. At 26 years old, matured in a wine cask and bottled at 48.7%, it clearly sits apart from everyday releases.
Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Bowmore stands out because it combines maturity with limited availability. The collectors item indication and the fact that these are the last bottles give it a particular presence on the shelf, without needing any exaggerated claims.
The style points towards a whisky where wood, spice and fruit have a clear role, while peat remains more restrained. Its appeal lies in its precision. This is not a broad release, but a single cask bottling from cask #1290, presented at cask strength at 48.1%. Only 524 bottles were drawn, giving this whisky the feeling of a specific moment captured from one individual cask.

Dalmore Quintessence is a Highland single malt with a story that is closely tied to Richard Patterson's fiftieth anniversary in the whisky world. Rather than being defined by age, it is shaped by a very deliberate maturation idea and by the selection of casks behind it.
The whisky first matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, before spending a further five years in five different Californian red wine casks. Each cask had held wine made from a different grape variety: Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
