Lagg Inaugural Release 3

In stock

Lagg Inaugural Release 3 belongs to the early story of Lagg on the Isle of Arran. This Scottish single malt was distilled in 2019 and bottled at 50%, with a Wine Finish giving this release its own place within the distillery's first wave of bottlings.

The release was limited to 10,000 bottles, and with the last bottles now in focus it has a particular relevance at Drankenshop Broekmans. We see it as a snapshot from the formative years of Lagg: young, clearly defined and already showing a firm sense of direction.

Its flavour profile points to a whisky where fruit and peat carry the main impression, supported by lighter floral, woody, spicy and slightly salty accents. The 50% strength adds presence, making this a single malt with a more pronounced stance rather (…)

Mars The Y.A #5 Incl. Box

Only 2 left in stock!

Mars The Y.A #5 is a Japanese blended malt with a very specific maturation story. It was matured entirely on Yakushima, an island set within a maritime ecosystem listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. That island setting is not just background information here; it is central to the whisky's identity.

Yakushima's subtropical microclimate brings mild winters, warm summers and very high humidity throughout the year. With annual evaporation estimated at 7 to 14%, the interaction between whisky and wood is accelerated in a striking way. The ocean nearby and the constant sea breeze add a subtle maritime, saline influence to the whisky's profile.

The blend combines distillates from Komagatake and Tsunuki, bringing together the elegance associated with Komagatake (…)

Ardbeg Smokiverse - Ardbeg Day 2025

In stock

Ardbeg Smokiverse is the Ardbeg Day 2025 Limited Edition, an Islay single malt that stays firmly within Ardbeg's smoky territory while giving extra space to fruit and sweetness. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as one of those releases where the interest lies not just in the label, but in the way the distillery has approached the whisky itself.

For Smokiverse, Ardbeg experimented with high gravity mashing: more grain and less water in the mash tun. That creates a denser wort and enhances flavour-active acetate esters. The result is still unmistakably smoky, but with a more pronounced fruit-driven and sweet aromatic side.

Bottled at 48.3% and clear gold in the glass, this limited edition brings together Islay peat smoke, sweetness and a vivid fruity edge. (…)

Kilchoman Family Collection Ex Bourbon 18y Incl. Box

In stock

Kilchoman Family Collection Ex Bourbon 18y presents a more mature side of Kilchoman. For this Islay single malt, eighteen years of ageing is an important milestone: the heavily peated malt still gives the whisky its unmistakable smoky foundation, but time in bourbon barrels has softened the edges and brought greater aromatic depth.

The interest here lies in the way the peat has settled into the whisky. It remains clear, yet more refined, sitting alongside ripe fruit, vanilla and a gentle toasted wood influence. It feels like a grown-up reading of the Kilchoman style rather than a forceful display of peat alone.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone who already appreciates Kilchoman and wants to see what longer (…)

Elements Of Islay Bourbon Incl. Box

In stock

Elements Of Islay Bourbon is an Islay blended malt that puts style ahead of an age statement. Bottled at cask strength, 54.5%, it presents itself with a firm, direct presence rather than a softened or diluted expression.

The Bourbon Barrel reference sets the maturation context, but the identity remains clearly Islay. Peat is a pronounced part of the profile, with fruit playing an equally important role. Around that core sit lighter touches of salt, spice, wood and a subtle floral edge.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place with Islay whiskies that speak clearly and confidently: a robust blended malt for drinkers who enjoy peat and fruit with real strength behind them.

The flavour profile is built around a clear meeting (…)

Bowmore 1998 25y Awwif (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers) Tube Incl.

Only 3 left in stock!

Bowmore 1998 25y Awwif is a mature Islay single malt with a very clear identity: one distillation date, one bourbon barrel, one independent bottler and a total outturn of 280 bottles. Distilled on 9 September 1998 and bottled on 1 June 2024, it brings together 25 years of maturation in a tightly defined single cask release.

Alistair Walker selected this Bowmore for the Infrequent Flyers range, where the focus is on individual casks rather than broad, repeated house styles. Bottled at cask strength at 45.8%, it presents this particular bourbon barrel on its own terms.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this have a natural place among whiskies for customers who enjoy independent bottlings with a clear origin story. Bowmore, Islay, 25 years of age, single (…)

Kavalan The Peatist Bourbon Incl. Box

Last one in stock!

Kavalan The Peatist Bourbon brings a peated side of Taiwanese single malt into focus, with strength, clarity and a notably smooth presentation. The Peatist range is Kavalan's permanent exploration of peated whisky, built around premium peated malt and a distinctly Taiwanese take on aromatic intensity.

This Bourbon release is drawn from a single cask and bottled at cask strength, at 54%. Matured in American ex-bourbon casks, it shows the softer and more harmonious side of the Peatist style. The peat is clearly present, yet it is wrapped in vanilla, coconut cream, gentle spice and tropical fruit notes such as mango and banana.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Kavalan as a whisky for drinkers who enjoy peat with texture and fruit rather than sheer weight. (…)

Ardnamurchan Sauternes

On request only

Ardnamurchan Sauternes brings together two strong ideas in one Highland single malt: the sweetness of Sauternes cask influence and the coastal, smoky side of peated whisky. This AD/ Sauternes Cask Release was first matured in bourbon casks, then given a second maturation in Sauternes casks, with peat added to this edition for the first time.

That makes the whisky feel generous without becoming one-dimensional. The Sauternes side brings honeyed fruit and golden sweetness, while the peated distillate keeps a salty, smoky, maritime edge. Bottling at 50% and without chill filtration helps preserve the full texture described for this release.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like for its clear identity: a limited release of 8,460 bottles, (…)

Kilchoman Family Collection 14y Rockside Barley Incl. Box

In stock

Kilchoman Family Collection 14y Rockside Barley is a thoughtful expression of Islay single malt, built around the origin of the barley itself. Made with Rockside Barley grown and malted on site, it carries Kilchoman's field-to-glass idea in a very direct way, placing the raw material at the heart of the whisky.

The peat level is 20 ppm, so the smoke is present but handled with a more refined touch. Maturation in bourbon barrels supports that elegance, bringing freshness, vanilla and gentle cereal notes rather than pushing the whisky into a heavier style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Kilchoman we like to point out to customers who are curious about the distillery's more precise, terroir-focused side. With 14 years of maturation, Rockside (…)

Compass Box Secrets Of Smoke (Compass Box Limited Edition)

On request only

Compass Box Secrets Of Smoke is built around a clever idea: peated whisky is not only about smoke. Beneath the sootier side, Compass Box looks for the sweeter signals that can sit in plain sight, with honeyed and fruity notes woven into the peat.

This Scottish blended malt is bottled at 52%, with natural colour and no chill filtration. That gives the whisky a full, direct presence, while the wine cask influence brings out the sweeter side of the malts rather than letting the smoke stand alone.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this limited Compass Box release stands out because of that particular angle. With 9,999 bottles produced and the final bottles now becoming scarce, Secrets Of Smoke is a peat-driven whisky with a noticeably fruitier, more indulgent story (…)

Kornog 2012 10y Ex Libris Le Poids D'Un Nuage Tube Incl.

In stock

Kornog 2012 10y Ex Libris Le Poids D'Un Nuage is a French single malt whisky drawn from a single bourbon cask. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023, it carries a 10-year age statement and was released at cask strength, with an alcoholic strength of 58.5%.

Only 197 bottles were filled, so this is a very small-scale release rather than a regular expression. With the last bottles now in view, it has the kind of focused, limited appeal that fits naturally into the specialist whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans: one cask, one specific maturation, bottled with real strength.

Its profile is led by fruit and peat, supported by lighter touches of wood, spice, saltiness and a floral note. The title Le Poids D'Un Nuage adds a poetic tone to the bottle, but the (…)

Adelphi's Islay Malt 10y Batch 2 (Adelphi's Regional Range)

On request only

Adelphi's Islay Malt 10y Batch 2 brings together a distinctly maritime Islay spirit and the darker influence of Oloroso sherry casks. For this second batch, Adelphi returns to Caol Ila, described in the supplied information as one of the most consistent distilleries in the world, known here for a powerful, coastal and lightly meaty distillate.

The Oloroso casks add depth rather than disguise the whisky's Islay identity. Smoke, dark fruit and tannic structure sit side by side, giving this 10-year-old single malt a rich yet approachable feel. Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence to carry the peat and sherry influence without becoming overstated.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Islay bottling we like to introduce when someone wants more than peat (…)

Ballechin 2014 Lmdw Tube Incl.

Only 3 left in stock!

Ballechin 2014 Lmdw is a Scottish Highland single malt built around a clear peated character. It was drawn from a single Bourbon Barrel and bottled at cask strength, so the appeal here lies in the directness of one individual cask rather than a broader batch composition.

Distilled on 10 December 2014 and bottled on 23 July 2024, it spent 10 years maturing before being released at 58.4% alcohol. Only 225 bottles were produced, and with the final bottles now in focus, it has the naturally limited feel that makes a release stand out in the Drankenshop Broekmans whisky selection.

The flavour direction is led by peat, with lighter supporting notes of fruit, spice, salt, wood and a floral touch. The Bourbon Barrel influence frames the whisky without turning it into (…)

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14

In stock

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 is a strong example of how Glengyle Distillery brings powerful peat together with the distinctive Campbeltown style. The malt is peated to around 45 ppm, yet the whisky is not simply about smoke. The oily, maritime and refined Kilkerran character remains firmly in place.

Maturation took place in 90% bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks, giving this batch a mix of freshness, sweet malt and added depth. Bottled at cask strength at 58.3%, without chill filtration and without added colouring, it comes across as a direct and energetic expression of the Heavily Peated series.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to drinkers who enjoy Campbeltown single malt in a more intense, smoky form. With the (…)

Longrow 23y Single Cask Nectar

Very last one in stock!

Longrow 23y Single Cask Nectar is a Campbeltown single malt with a very focused identity: 23 years old, drawn from a single cask and bottled at cask strength. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one Bourbon Hogshead at a particular point in its maturation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for the way they show detail rather than repetition. A single cask release has its own voice, and with only the last bottles indicated, this 2022 bottling also carries a clear sense of scarcity.

The flavour direction points towards fruit, spice and peat, supported by lighter floral, woody and salty notes. That combination gives the whisky a layered Campbeltown feel, with mature depth and smoky presence without reducing it to a single (…)

Douglas Laing Double Barrel Scotland India

In stock

Douglas Laing Double Barrel Scotland India is a Blended Malt built around a striking meeting of origins: an Indian Single Malt joined with a Scottish Single Malt from the Highlands. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it focuses on the contrast and connection between two whisky cultures in one bottle.

The label gives that idea a visual form. A Bengal tiger, India's national animal, appears alongside the unicorn, the national animal of Scotland. It is a fitting image for a whisky where smoky malt, citrus brightness and spice come together without losing the sense of either side of the blend.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce to customers who enjoy whisky with a clear concept behind it. Bottled at 50%, with no added (…)

Laphroaig 1998 21y Dlxop (Douglas Laing Extra Old Particular)

Very last one in stock!

Laphroaig 1998 21y DLXOP is an Islay single malt bottled by Douglas Laing for the Extra Old Particular range. Distilled in April 1998 and bottled in August 2019, it brings together 21 years of maturation with the directness of a cask strength release.

Its appeal lies in the very specific nature of the bottling. This is a single cask whisky from a refill hogshead, released at 53.4% and limited to just 224 bottles. With only the last bottles remaining, it has the quiet scarcity that often makes independent single cask releases so compelling.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a mature Laphroaig for drinkers who appreciate a clear Islay profile without losing sight of nuance. Peat, spice and fruit are the main threads here, while the wood influence stays (…)

Ardbeg 22y

In stock

Ardbeg 22y is a Scottish single malt from Islay with the kind of age statement that immediately gives it a different presence. Distilled in 1996 and matured for 22 years in a Bourbon Barrel, it represents a specific chapter rather than a regular, everyday release.

Only 2400 bottles were bottled, and the product is marked as a collectors item. Combined with the indication that these are among the last bottles, that makes this Ardbeg feel increasingly scarce. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for customers who are looking beyond the familiar core range and want an older Islay whisky with a clearly defined origin.

Its flavour profile points toward a firm interplay of peat, fruit and spice, supported by lighter wood influence, a floral edge and a (…)

Ardbeg Smoketrails Napa Valley 1l

Only 3 left in stock!

Ardbeg Smoketrails Napa Valley 1l is an Islay single malt with peat smoke firmly at the centre of its identity. The name points to Napa Valley, while the available cask information mentions bourbon and wine casks. That combination gives this release its particular appeal: recognisably smoky Ardbeg, with a wine-cask angle adding another dimension around the core style.

With no age statement and bottled at 46%, the focus is on composition and character rather than age. Peat is the clearest element, supported by lighter notes of wood, spice, fruit, saltiness and a subtle floral touch. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone curious about an Ardbeg that keeps its Islay smoke but brings a different cask perspective into the (…)

Kilchoman Machir Bay Mini

In stock

Kilchoman Machir Bay Mini offers the distillery's flagship release in a smaller format. The name comes from the beautiful beach close to the distillery, a fitting reference for an Islay single malt where peat smoke, fruit and coastal character sit at the heart of the style.

Matured in sherry and bourbon casks, Machir Bay is bottled at 46% and carries no age statement. The supplied tasting description places it firmly in the smoky and elegant camp, with cooked fruit, peat and vanilla shaping the experience.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this miniature as a concise introduction to Kilchoman: expressive enough to show its Islay identity, yet rounded by fruit and softness. Its gold medal at the IWSC 2015 adds a useful point of recognition for a whisky that has (…)

Islay 1991 30y 51,90° (Signatory - Cask Collection) Tube Incl.

In stock

Islay 1991 30y 51.90° is a whisky with a deliberately quiet identity. The distillery remains undisclosed, yet the essentials are very clear: an Islay single malt distilled on 12 December 1991 and bottled on 11 March 2022 after 30 years of maturation.

Signatory released it as part of the Cask Collection, drawn from a single Bourbon Barrel. That matters here, because this is not a broad vatting but the contents of one individual cask. Only 256 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now in circulation, the release has become increasingly scarce.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that speaks to customers who appreciate detail: a dated vintage, a single cask origin, cask strength at 51.9%, and the unmistakable setting of (…)
