Kilchoman 13y

On request only

Kilchoman 13y is a limited edition Islay single malt that speaks clearly of the distillery's hands-on approach. Founded in 2005, Kilchoman is known for its commitment to traditional methods and is among the few Scottish distilleries still working with a traditional malting method.

The maturity here comes from at least 13 years in a combination of bourbon casks, octaves and calvados casks. That cask mix gives the whisky a layered feel, with fruit, sweetness, spice, peat smoke and coastal saltiness all playing a role. It remains unmistakably Islay, but there is more to follow than smoke alone.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Kilchoman that shows a more developed side of the distillery. Bottled at 50%, it has the strength to carry its fruit, (…)

Big Peat 15th Anniversary (Douglas Laing Regional Malts)

On request only

Big Peat 15th Anniversary celebrates fifteen years of one of the most familiar names in Douglas Laing's Regional Malts series. That range is built around blended malts that present the character of Scotland's whisky regions in a clear and recognisable way, and Big Peat is firmly rooted in Islay: peat smoke, saltiness and a robust island style.

For this anniversary release, Douglas Laing created a version matured mainly in red wine casks and bottled at 50% ABV. It gives this Big Peat a different accent, bringing darker fruit and spice into conversation with the classic smoky backbone. The packaging follows the playful Regional Malts spirit as well, with fifteen anniversary surprises worked into the design.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky (…)

Caol Ila 2010 11y Art6 (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

In stock

Caol Ila 2010 11y Art6 is an Islay single malt with a very direct presentation: bottled by Signatory for the Artist Edition and released at cask strength. At 59.1%, it keeps close to the cask, giving the whisky a firm presence and allowing its peated, salty and spicy side to come through clearly.

The refill butt maturation is part of the appeal here. Rather than letting wood dominate, it leaves room for the distillery character to stay in focus. Peat and salinity carry the profile, spice adds structure, and fruit and oak remain more restrained in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of independent bottling we like to present to customers who enjoy a clear Islay identity without unnecessary embellishment. With 1191 bottles produced and (…)

Islay 19y Macb (Elixir Distillers - Macbeth Series)

In stock

This 19-year-old Islay single malt is part of the Macbeth Collection, a series of 42 Scottish whiskies named after characters from William Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth. Within that collection, First Witch belongs to the four smoky whiskies, a fitting role for a malt from a distillery on Islay's Kildalton coast with a clearly smoky profile.

Maturation in Pedro Ximenez casks gives the whisky a darker, fruit-laden side alongside its maritime Islay nature. The smoke is not standing on its own here; it is joined by dried fruit, spice, salt and savoury notes. Bottled at cask strength, 51.7%, it keeps its natural weight and intensity.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to place in context: a 19-year-old Islay malt, part of a carefully (…)

Talisker 25y 2021

In stock

Talisker 25y 2021 is a Scottish single malt from Skye where age and island character sit at the centre of the story. At 25 years old, it speaks in a more mature register than younger malts, with time playing a clear role in how the whisky presents itself.

The maturation in sherry and bourbon casks gives this release an appealing framework, while the flavour profile points clearly towards spice, saltiness and peat. Fruit and wood are present in a gentler supporting role, keeping the focus on a seasoned, maritime style of Talisker.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as one of those bottles that belongs among the more special single malts rather than everyday selections. With only the last bottles remaining, Talisker 25y 2021 carries an added sense of (…)

Talisker Skye Incl. Box

Only 3 left in stock!

Talisker Skye is a Scottish single malt that puts its origin right at the centre of the glass. The name points directly to Skye, and the whisky follows that direction with a clear island-led profile built around saltiness, peat and spice rather than an age statement.

American oak plays a supporting role here. It adds a light wood influence without taking over, allowing the more distinctive elements to stand forward: a salty edge, peated depth, firm spice and a modest fruit note. At 45.8% ABV, Talisker Skye has enough strength to carry that character clearly.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good example of a single malt where place and style matter more than age on the label. It is a whisky for drinkers looking for a recognisably maritime, smoky and (…)

Talisker 10y Incl. Box

In stock

Talisker 10y is a Scottish single malt from Skye with a clear sense of direction. Peat smoke, salinity and spice shape the whisky's character, while oak cask maturation and its 10-year age statement give it a measured foundation rather than an overly woody profile.

At 45.8%, it carries enough strength to support that assertive style. The fruit and wood elements sit more in the background, adding detail without softening the whisky's smoky, salty and spicy core.

In the whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we introduce when someone is looking for a Scotch single malt with a more pronounced personality. It is direct, recognisable and built around a profile that does not try to be neutral.

Talisker 10y is shaped (…)

Ardbeg Smoketrails 2nd Edition Cote Rotie 1l Travel Retail

In stock

Ardbeg Smoketrails 2nd Edition Côte Rôtie is an Islay single malt with a very clear sense of direction: peat, salt and spice are the main threads running through it. As the second edition in the Smoketrails line, the Côte Rôtie reference in the name gives this release its own particular identity.

The character is built around a smoky and maritime core, with spice playing a clear supporting role. Fruit and wood are present more gently, so the whisky keeps its focus on that robust Islay side rather than moving into a sweeter or heavily oaked style. At 46% alcohol, it has enough weight to carry that profile with confidence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Ardbeg that stands out for customers looking beyond the regular (…)

Ardbeg 19y Traigh Bhan Batch 6

In stock

Ardbeg 19y Traigh Bhan Batch 6 presents a mature Islay single malt with a clearly maritime, peated identity. Distilled on 4 April 2005 and aged for 19 years, it brings together bourbon and sherry cask influence with a bottling strength of 46.2%, giving it presence while keeping the focus on its developed character.

The appeal here lies in the way the main elements are framed. Peat, saltiness and spice are the driving forces, with fruit and oak playing a more supporting role. It remains unmistakably connected to the Islay style, yet the age gives this release a more settled tone than a younger, more direct smoky whisky.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle sits naturally among the more distinctive Ardbeg releases for drinkers looking for an older expression (…)

Ardbeg 19y Traigh Bhan 3rd Edition

In stock

Ardbeg 19y Traigh Bhan 3rd Edition is a mature Islay single malt with a strong sense of identity. As the third edition of Traigh Bhan, aged for 19 years and distilled on 10 October 2001, it speaks to a very specific chapter in Ardbeg's range.

The combination of sherry and bourbon casks frames the whisky without taking away its Islay voice. Peat smoke, salinity and spice sit at the centre of the profile, while fruit and oak remain more restrained, adding support rather than changing the direction of the whisky.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Ardbeg we would present to someone looking for a more mature and collectable release rather than a standard bottle for casual pouring. With the last bottles available, the third edition of Traigh Bhan has a (…)

Smokehead Sherry Cask Blast (Ian Macleod) Tube Incl.

In stock

Smokehead Sherry Cask Blast is an Islay single malt with a very direct sense of style. The name says a great deal already: Smokehead brings its smoky island character together with a sherry cask finish, bottled at a confident 48% ABV.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky that stands out for its clear personality rather than for a long list of technical details. There is no age statement here; the focus is on impact, with peat, saltiness and spice taking the lead, while fruit and wood play a supporting role.

Bottled by Ian Macleod under the Smokehead label, it presents a modern, assertive take on Islay single malt. It is not a quiet whisky: the emphasis is on smoke, maritime tension and the extra depth brought by the sherry finish.

Secret Islay 2013 (The Whisky Agency)

On request only

Secret Islay 2013 is a Scottish single malt with part of its identity deliberately kept in the shadows. Islay is clearly the setting, but the distillery name remains undisclosed. That gives the whisky a different kind of appeal: the focus shifts away from reputation and towards the personality of one individual cask.

Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024, it spent 10 years maturing before being released at cask strength, 51.2% ABV. As a single cask bottling, it represents a specific selection rather than a broad house style. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued for the way they let whisky drinkers explore Islay beyond the most obvious labels.

With the last bottles now available, the limited nature of this release becomes part of its story. (…)

Ardbeg Bizarrebq - Ardbeg Day 2023

In stock

Ardbeg Bizarrebq - Ardbeg Day 2023 is an Islay single malt with a name that immediately hints at something playful, smoky and unconventional. Bottled at 50.9%, it has the presence of a firmly styled Scotch whisky rather than a quiet everyday dram.

The character is built around peat, saltiness and spice. That gives it a distinctly Islay-driven identity, while a lighter fruity note and a modest touch of wood keep the profile from feeling one-dimensional. The result is an Ardbeg release with a clear theme and plenty of personality in the glass.

Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Ardbeg Day 2023 bottling stands out because it belongs to a specific release and is now down to the last bottles. It is a fitting choice for those who enjoy Ardbeg when (…)

Connemara Distillers Edition Tube Incl.

In stock

Connemara Distillers Edition is an Irish single malt with a clearly smoky and spicy direction. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it presents itself through style: peat, oak cask maturation and a flavour profile with real presence.

The oak cask influence supports the whiskey without making wood the whole story. Peated smoke and spice sit at the centre, with lighter touches of fruit and a subtle salty edge around them. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good choice for customers looking for an Irish single malt with more depth and smoky definition.

Bottled at 43%, Connemara Distillers Edition keeps a measured strength while still showing a distinct personality. Its appeal lies in that combination of Irish single malt character and a more (…)

Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release

In stock

Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release is an Islay single malt with peat and salinity at the centre of its character. Bourbon cask maturation appears here as a supporting element, adding light wood influence, a touch of spice and a modest fruity edge around the smoky, coastal profile.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this bottle among the scarcer Ardbeg releases rather than everyday drinking stock. It is a Committee Release, bottled at cask strength at 53.8%, with no age statement and marked as a collector's item. With only the last bottles remaining, its limited availability is very much part of the appeal.

This is an Ardbeg to approach for its directness and strength of character: Islay peat, a salty profile and a firm bottling strength define the (…)

Ballechin 2004 19y Small Batch Manzanilla

On request only

Ballechin 2004 19y Small Batch Manzanilla is a Highland single malt from Scotland with a firmly defined personality. Distilled in 2004, matured for 19 years and bottled at 55% cask strength, it presents itself as a whisky with weight and focus.

The Manzanilla cask adds an intriguing frame to a profile built around peat smoke and spice. There is a light salty edge, with fruit and wood sitting more in support than in the foreground. That makes the whisky feel driven by contrast: mature, smoky, spicy and just touched by saline character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Ballechin we would point out to someone looking for a Highland single malt with more tension and structure than softness. The small batch nature adds to the sense of a specific, (…)

Ardbeg 2000 23y Y2k Incl. Box

In stock

Ardbeg 2000 23y Y2k is a mature Islay single malt with a very clear identity: distilled in 2000, aged for 23 years and matured in sherry casks. It presents Ardbeg through the lens of time, giving the whisky a more considered and distinctive place than a standard release.

The Y2k name draws attention to the 2000 vintage, while the 23-year age statement brings the sense of a long-matured bottling. The sherry maturation adds another dimension around the distillery's smoky and spicy side, with the available profile suggesting that wood influence remains present rather than dominant.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone looking for a more special Ardbeg rather than an everyday Islay pour. Its collector status and (…)

Caperdonich 25y Peated Small Batch

In stock

Caperdonich 25y Peated Small Batch is a Speyside single malt with a clear smoky side. That is what gives this whisky its point of difference: it carries the maturity of a 25 year old malt, but with peat smoke and spice taking a meaningful role in the overall character.

The hogshead maturation appears as a supporting influence rather than a heavy layer of oak. The profile stays focused on smoke and spice, with lighter fruit and a subtle salty edge adding extra definition.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Caperdonich as a whisky for drinkers who enjoy Speyside malt with more force and depth. Bottled at cask strength at 58.1%, it keeps a firm, concentrated presence, very much in line with the small batch nature of the release.

Talisker Nad Sr 2023 Tube Incl.

Talisker Nad Sr 2023 is a Skye single malt built around intensity and a clearly defined flavour direction. Bottled at 59.7% ABV and presented at cask strength, it keeps its power close to the glass. The Port Finish adds another layer to a profile shaped by salinity, peat smoke and spice, with fruit playing a more subtle supporting role.

With no age statement, the focus here is not on a number of years, but on the chosen style: a strong 2023 Talisker release with a finishing touch that gives the whisky a different angle. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a distinctive Skye malt for drinkers who appreciate bold, savoury and smoky flavours rather than a softer, easy-going style.

Laphroaig 10y Cask Strength Batch 15

Laphroaig 10y Cask Strength Batch 15 presents Islay single malt in a particularly direct form: ten years old, bottled at cask strength and carrying a substantial 56.5% alcohol. It is a version that keeps closer to the strength of the cask rather than being softened into a gentler standard bottling.

Bourbon cask maturation provides the setting, but the main impression is shaped by the clearly present Islay elements: peat, saltiness and spice take the lead, with a lighter fruit note sitting behind them. Batch 15 is therefore a whisky with real presence, built around intensity rather than restraint.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this release is the kind of bottle we place in front of customers looking for Laphroaig with extra force and definition. With only the last (…)

Kilchoman Loch Gorm 10y 2025

On request only

Kilchoman Loch Gorm 10y 2025 stands out in the Loch Gorm line because it is the first edition to carry an age statement. After ten years of maturation, this Islay single malt brings together Kilchoman's peated signature with the depth and richness of oloroso sherry casks.

That meeting of styles is what gives this release its identity. Sherry maturation brings darker fruit, spice and sweetness, while peat, earthy tones and a salty edge keep the Islay side clearly in view. Bottled at 46%, it has enough presence to carry those flavours without making strength the main point.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Loch Gorm 2025 as a particularly engaging choice for drinkers who enjoy Kilchoman with a fuller sherry-matured character. With only the last bottles (…)

Ardbeg 1991 Over 30y Artist #13 (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

Last one in stock!

Ardbeg 1991 Over 30y Artist #13 is a 32-year-old Islay single malt, distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2023. It comes from a single cask selected by Signatory for the Artist Edition, giving this release a very specific identity rather than the feel of a wider batch bottling.

Drawn from one Bourbon Hogshead and bottled at 47.7%, it was released in just 158 bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are the ones we tend to pause over: old Ardbeg, independent bottling, single cask origin and a very small outturn all in one place.

The stated flavour profile points toward a clearly Islay-driven style, with peat and salinity as the main lines. Wood, spice and fruit are present in a lighter role, so the interest lies in the combination of long maturation and (…)
