Drankenshopper Kaartspel

Drankenshopper is not a bottle, but a card game built around the atmosphere of a drinks auction. Players bid, negotiate, trade and bluff in the hope of taking home the most impressive collections, while opponents may be quietly working on plans of their own.
One of its strengths is the way the game can be scaled to the group. In the simplest version, you play only with the bottle and money cards, turning it into an easy-going buying and trading game with minimal rules. For a fuller game, the role and chance cards add extra tension and strategy, especially with 4 to 5 players.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits nicely alongside the drinks themselves: a game for adults who enjoy both tabletop play and the world of spirits. The 40 playing cards combine clear (…)Christian Drouin VSOP Pale & Dry Incl. Box

Christian Drouin VSOP Pale & Dry is a French Calvados with a name that already sets a clear tone. The VSOP indication and the Pale & Dry wording give it a straightforward, traditional identity within the Calvados category.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle customers often come back to when they are looking for a recognisable French Calvados with a composed, classic presentation. The product name Christian Drouin and the Coeur De Lion brand reference place it clearly among traditional French spirits.
Bottled at 40% alcohol, it is a calm and familiar choice for anyone looking to explore or revisit Calvados without unnecessary complication.

Hampden 8 Years Incl. Box

Hampden 8 Years is a Jamaican rum from Hampden Estate, made from molasses and distilled in pot stills. It has a clearly defined personality: fruit and spice are the main threads, with a style that feels more expressive than softly sweet.
Eight years of ageing in bourbon barrels adds a measured wood influence, supporting the rum rather than taking it over. At 46% alcohol, it has enough strength to carry its character with confidence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Hampden 8 Years is the kind of rum we like to introduce to customers looking for a Jamaican bottle with real presence. The combination of pot still distillation, Jamaican origin and stated age gives it a direct, characterful appeal.
The flavour profile is led by fruit and spice, with the (…)Machrie Moor Peated Cask Strength Tube Incl.

Machrie Moor Peated Cask Strength Tube Incl.

Machrie Moor Peated Cask Strength shows Arran in a smoky, full-powered style, bottled at 56.2% without being softened down too far. This Isle of Arran single malt keeps its peat, freshness and coastal saltiness very much in view.
The bourbon barrel maturation supports the whisky without taking over the conversation. What stands out is the lively contrast: smoke and ash on one side, pear and lime on the other, with a salty edge running through it. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it is one of those bottles that naturally draws attention from customers looking for a peated single malt with real strength behind it.
Because it is bottled at cask strength, it also invites a little experimentation with water. A few drops can open the whisky while keeping its smoky, briny (…)Michters Us1 Small Batch Bourbon

Michters Us1 Small Batch Bourbon
In stock
Michter's US1 Small Batch Bourbon is an American bourbon with a clear emphasis on new oak, warm spice and a rounded sweetness. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it is the kind of bottle we reach for when someone wants a generous bourbon with familiar flavours, but with enough depth to make it worth taking time over.
A key part of its story is Michter's barrel entry proof. The whiskey is filled into casks at 103 proof, lower than the common industry standard. Michter's does this because it aims for a softer, richer whiskey, even though it requires more barrels and more storage space.
Bottled at 45.7%, it has enough strength to carry its full flavour without losing approachability. The combination of sweet toffee and vanilla, dried fruit, cinnamon and light wood notes (…)Amaras Verde Momento

Amaras Verde Momento is a Mexican mezcal with a straightforward identity: a bottle for customers who are specifically looking for mezcal, presented at a confident 42% ABV.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, it sits naturally among spirits chosen for their clear sense of place and category. The name Amaras Verde Momento, the Mexican origin and the mezcal classification are the key elements here, without the need to dress the bottle up with details that have not been provided.
As no additional production background or tasting description is available, the presentation stays deliberately factual. What can be said with certainty is that this is a mezcal from Mexico with enough strength to stand firmly within the spirits range.

Benriach The 12 is a 12-year-old Speyside single malt bottled at 46%, shaped by a renewed recipe built around bourbon, sherry and port cask maturation. That combination gives the whisky added depth, while keeping the balance centred on fruit and sherry-led richness.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Benriach with more than just bright Speyside fruit. It brings in baked fruit, nutty warmth and a spiced edge, without moving into smoky territory. The result is a whisky with a generous, rounded feel and a finish that lingers on darker, sweeter notes.

Kyro Malt places Finnish rye at the heart of the whisky. Kyrö works with high-quality rye from Finland, a grain that brings its own spicy edge and gives this whisky a clear sense of identity.
It is distilled in double pot stills and matured in American white oak casks. That maturation adds rounder notes around the rye-driven core, with the wood influence supporting rather than masking the grain. At 47.2% alcohol, Kyro Malt carries its character with confidence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to customers exploring rye whisky beyond the usual reference points. Its gold medal at the IWSC 2020 gives it extra recognition, but the real interest remains the combination of Finnish rye, pot still distillation and (…)Lazy Dodo

Lazy Dodo by New Grove is a Mauritian rum made from molasses, with a character that leans clearly towards fruit. Distilled in a traditional column style, it presents a clean and approachable side of Mauritius rum without feeling anonymous.
Maturation in bourbon barrels adds a gentle wood note and a touch of spice, while the fruity side remains the main impression. At 40% alcohol, Lazy Dodo stays easy to enjoy, more about aromatic smoothness and charm than weight or force.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum that fits well for customers looking for a friendly introduction to New Grove and to rum from Mauritius. It has enough character to be interesting, while keeping a relaxed and welcoming style.

Michters Us1 Rye is a(n) whiskey from United States by the brand Michters. It falls within the whiskey group under the category Rye. It is one of the many references you can currently buy online at Drankenshop Broekmans.
This whiskey is matured in New Oak barrels. It is a version of 70 cl and has an alcohol content of 42,4%.
With a no-age-statement whiskey, no age is indicated on the bottle. Often producers choose not to disclose age when an older whiskey is supplemented by younger ones. After all, according to the rules, the age must always be the youngest whiskey in the blend, which is not desirable when the bulk in the blend is older (and therefore more valuable). Conversely, one can also choose not to mention age, when predominantly young whiskey is (…)Nikka Coffey Malt Incl. Box

Nikka Coffey Malt Incl. Box

In stockNikka Coffey Malt is a Japanese whisky built around an unusual idea: it is made from 100% malted barley, yet distilled in a Coffey still. For that reason it is not classified as a single malt, even though malted barley is at its core. That distinction is exactly what makes it fascinating, because it shows how much the still itself can shape the personality of a whisky.
The Coffey still is central to Nikka's story. Patented by Aeneas Coffey in 1830, this continuous still was something Masataka Taketsuru learned to work with during his 1919 training under James Calder at Bo'Ness Distillery. Convinced by its advantages, he later installed two Coffey stills when building Nikka. Coffey Malt was released in 2013 as part of an ongoing search for new flavour profiles and as a way (…)Nikka From The Barrel 50cl Incl. Box

Nikka From The Barrel is one of those Japanese whiskies that makes an impression before the bottle is even opened. Its compact, instantly recognisable bottle has become closely linked with one of the great classics of Japanese blended whisky, and the whisky itself has the same confident identity.
The blend brings together whiskies from sherry casks, bourbon casks, re-charred bourbon casks and new casks. In the hands of Nikka's Master Blender, those different cask influences are shaped into a powerful and layered whisky. At 51.4% and bottled at cask strength, it carries a real sense of concentration.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is a bottle we often reach for when someone wants Japanese whisky with more drive and depth. It has fruit, spice and intensity, but (…)Planteray Barbados XO (Planteray Blend) Incl. Box

Planteray Barbados XO (Planteray Blend) Incl. Box
| 1 review
In stockPlanteray Barbados XO is a Barbados rum with a celebratory origin. It was first created as a tribute to master blender Alexandre Gabriel, marking his twentieth year in that role. The idea behind the blend is clear: carefully selected aged rums from Barbados, brought together in a polished XO style with depth, softness and aromatic richness.
The rums all come from the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados. They are made from molasses, fermented for 3 to 5 days, and distilled using a combination of pot still and column still. Maturation takes place in several cask types, including white oak, bourbon casks and Ferrand cognac casks, with different levels of toasting. The rums in the blend range from 12 to 20 years old and combine tropical and continental ageing.

Black Tot Rum is a molasses-based rum with a clear sense of presence. Bottled at 46.2%, it carries a little more weight than many standard rums, while its identity is not built around an age statement. The use of pot still and column distillation points to a layered style, with spice and fruit taking the lead and a gentle bourbon cask wood influence sitting behind them.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Black Tot is the kind of rum we would reach for when someone wants flavour and structure without moving into an overly sweet style. It has enough character to be enjoyed neat, while remaining approachable in the glass.

Citadelle Jardin d'Eté is a French dry gin with a bright, aromatic style built around citrus, florals and fresh spice. Juniper is clearly present, as it should be, but Citadelle surrounds it with a broader botanical composition of 22 ingredients.
What makes it stand out is the way the freshness develops beyond simple citrus. The nose is lively and intense, with citrus fruit and juniper first, followed by violet and a gentle spicy touch. On the palate the floral side comes forward, joined by melon and mandarin, while nutmeg and angelica add a more savoury herbal depth later on.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of gin we like to present for a fragrant, refreshing Gin & Tonic that still has plenty to discover. The suggested serve with (…)Gin Sea
