Patridom XO Oloroso Tube Incl.

Patridom XO Oloroso brings together the smooth Dominican style of the Patridom range with the added depth of an Oloroso cask finish. The rum is made from locally grown sugar cane in the Dominican Republic, distilled in a multi-column still and matured in the country's tropical climate, giving it the polished and gentle foundation associated with the series.
Its second maturation is what gives this release its own identity. Selected Oloroso casks were used for an additional ageing period in the continental climate of warehouse 1423 in Denmark. That extra stage adds darker, more layered accents to the rum, with fruit and spice taking a more prominent role while the overall impression remains soft and sweet.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Patridom (…)Haiti 2004 14y (Transcontinental Rum Line)

Haiti 2004 14y (Transcontinental Rum Line)
In stock
Haiti 2004 14y from Transcontinental Rum Line is a rum with a very specific frame: distilled in 2004, bottled in 2018 and matured for fourteen years. As a single cask release at cask strength, bottled at 63.1%, it keeps a direct and uncompromised feel.
The bourbon cask is part of the picture, but the real interest lies in the combination of Haitian origin, age and single-cask bottling. Rather than aiming for a repeated house style, this bottle represents one particular cask and one particular point in time.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for careful tasting rather than casual pouring. Its limited nature is underlined by the fact that these are the last bottles. The flavour profile points towards a clearly fruity and spiced character, with (…)Port Mourant 10y So (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

Port Mourant 10y So (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)
In stock
Port Mourant 10y So is a molasses-based rum from Guyana, bottled by Elizabeth Yard as part of the with finishes series. Its identity is built around a wooden vat still distillation, a sherry cask finish and a natural cask strength bottling at 49.8%.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this stand out because they give a very direct sense of selection. This is a single cask rum, distilled on 31 August 2011 and aged for 10 years, with only 222 bottles produced. It feels focused rather than broadly composed: one cask, one finish, one limited release.
The sherry finish adds extra depth to a rum whose profile leans clearly towards fruit and spice, while the wood remains present without taking over. For anyone exploring Guyanese rum beyond the usual releases, (…)El Dorado 15y + 2 Glasses

El Dorado 15y + 2 Glasses combines a 15-year-old rum from Guyana with two matching glasses. It feels like a set made for taking a little time with the bottle, whether opened at home or given as a thoughtful rum gift.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits well among rums chosen for provenance and age rather than for flashy presentation alone. The 15-year statement gives it a mature identity, while the 43% strength keeps it firmly positioned as a sipping rum.
The included glasses make the pack especially inviting. They turn the bottle into a ready-to-share moment, with no need to add anything except the occasion.
No specific tasting notes were provided in the available product data for this El Dorado 15y. The confirmed details are that it is a rum (…)Cash Cane Extra Old

Cash Cane Extra Old

Cash Cane Extra Old is a molasses-based rum with one particularly defining detail: a Sherry Finish. Although the name carries the words Extra Old, there is no age statement here, so the focus is less on a number and more on the style of the rum itself.
The mixed origin and mixed distilling style give it a broad foundation, while the sherry finish points the character towards fruit and spice. At 40% alcohol, it keeps a composed strength, allowing the profile to remain approachable without stripping away its personality.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Cash Cane Extra Old as a rum for drinkers looking for a molasses rum with a little more depth than a very straightforward bottle, yet without moving into an overly heavy style. With only the last bottles (…)Ricci Verseau 50cl Incl. Box

Ricci Verseau 50cl is a molasses-based rum from Famille Ricci, bringing together rum from Trinidad and Nicaragua. With TDL 2008 and Compañera de Licor de Nicaragua 2004 mentioned in the background of the release, it is a bottling built around two origins rather than a single distillery voice.
Maturation in bourbon barrels gives the rum its frame, while the combination of pot still and column distillation adds to its layered identity. Bottled at cask strength, 63.6% alcohol, Verseau keeps its force and density intact rather than smoothing everything away.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who enjoy a more expressive bottle: fruity, spiced and gastronomic in tone, with enough strength to remain firmly present in the glass. With (…)Bielle 2002 20y (Asta Morris) Incl. Box

Bielle 2002 20y is a Guadeloupe rum built around a very clear idea: a defined vintage, long ageing and a remarkably small release. Rather than feeling like a regular range bottling, it carries the identity of a specific parcel of rum, distilled in 2002 and held for 20 years before bottling.
Its maturation in a Bourbon Barrel adds an important part of the story, while the 49.4% strength gives the bottle a serious presence. With only 57 bottles released, this is a rum where scarcity is not a marketing phrase but part of the factual identity of the product.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Bielle as the kind of bottle that naturally draws attention from customers looking for older, limited rum from Guadeloupe. The fact that only the last bottles remain (…)English Harbour Madeira Finish Incl. Box

English Harbour Madeira Finish is an Antiguan rum built around maturation and finishing rather than simple sweetness. Made from molasses and distilled in a traditional column style, it first spends five years in ex-bourbon casks before a shorter finishing period of three to six months, the stage that gives this Madeira Finish its extra layer.
The appeal lies in the way the rum develops beyond its sweeter notes. The tasting profile points to dried fruit, caramel and honey, followed by spice and woody accents that carry into the finish. It feels rounded, but with enough depth to keep the glass interesting.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see English Harbour Madeira Finish as a fine choice for customers looking for an Antigua rum with a little more cask influence (…)Planteray Barbados 5y (Planteray Blend)

Planteray Barbados 5y shows the approachable yet expressive side of Barbadian rum. It brings together pot still and column still rum from Stade's West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, a distillery founded in 1893 by George Stade.
The ageing story is central here. The rum first matures for three years in Barbados, close to the beach. The casks then travel by sea to France, where the journey itself forms part of what Planteray describes as dynamic maturation. A second ageing period in ex-Ferrand casks brings the total maturation to five years, adding roundness and structure.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Barbados 5y is the kind of rum we like to introduce when someone is looking for fruit, softness and a touch of spice in a style that remains clear and easy (…)Trinidad 2011 11y (Cadenhead)

Cadenhead's Trinidad 2011 11y is a molasses rum with a clear sense of origin and timing: Trinidad, distilled in 2011, aged for 11 years and bottled at 46%. It has enough maturity to feel composed, while the details point to a rum that is more about character than sheer weight.
Traditional column distillation and maturation in American Oak give useful context here. The profile leans most clearly towards fruit and spice, with wood and sweetness playing a quieter supporting role. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this in the hands of someone looking for a Trinidad rum with definition rather than an overtly oak-led style.

Its multicolumn distillation points towards a clean, polished character, allowing the sherry-matured side to come through clearly. The most expressive elements here are fruit and spice, with gentle wood and a touch of sweetness supporting the whole rather than dominating it.

Planteray Isle of Fiji gives the Signature Blends range a less familiar rum origin, presented in the raffia-wrapped bottle that marks the series. Instead of leaning only on the classic rum countries, this bottling turns to Fiji, with its tropical setting, volcanic soils and notably pure water forming part of the rum's identity.
It is made from local sugar cane, hand-cut and processed into molasses in Lautoka. Pot still and column distillation are used, followed by local maturation in warm tropical conditions. The rum is then brought to France for a second maturation in ex-cognac casks from Maison Ferrand, a hallmark detail within the Planteray approach.

Made from molasses and distilled in a multicolumn style within the Spanish rum tradition, it was matured in re-charred American ex-bourbon oak barrels. That ageing gives the rum structure, a measured wood influence and a deeper frame, while the small-batch approach keeps the release focused and deliberate.

At 55.7% ABV, this is bottled at cask strength, keeping the emphasis close to the cask rather than smoothing it into a broader blend. As part of Berry's own selection, it feels like a chosen snapshot of one particular barrel and its development over time.

New Grove 5y is a molasses-based rum from Mauritius, aged for five years and bottled at 40%. What makes it appealing is the clarity of its identity: a Mauritian rum with a stated age, shaped by maturation but still centred around fruit and spice.
Its traditional column distillation and Limousin oak ageing point towards a style where the cask supports rather than dominates. In the rum selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits nicely for customers who want to explore Mauritius through a rum with some maturity and a defined profile.
As these are the last bottles, it also carries a slightly more limited feel within the range. A quiet but worthwhile bottle for anyone curious about New Grove and the rum style of Mauritius.

That blend of origins and distillation styles is central to its personality.
The rum first matures in a tropical climate in ex-bourbon casks, then continues its refinement in Charente in used oak casks and large open vats. That finishing stage connects naturally with its Cognac Finish identity, adding depth while keeping the rum's powerful core intact.
