Valdespino Tio Diego Amontillado
In stock
Valdespino Tio Diego Amontillado is a dry sherry from the D.O. Jerez-Xérès-Sherry in Andalusia, produced by Bodegas Valdespino in Jerez de la Frontera. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of amontillado we like to introduce when someone wants a sherry with a clear sense of origin and maturation, rather than just a broad dry and nutty profile.
Its identity is closely linked to Pago de Macharnudo Alto, specifically Viña Valdespino. The wine is made from 100% Palomino Fino grown on albariza, the white calcareous soil highlighted in the producer's information. The grapes are hand harvested, and fermentation takes place in American oak botas following Valdespino's traditional approach.
Tio Diego has a long two-stage maturation. It (…)Valdespino Brandy Solera Gran Reserva Alfonso El Sabio

Valdespino Brandy Solera Gran Reserva Alfonso El Sabio

Valdespino Brandy Solera Gran Reserva Alfonso El Sabio is a Spanish brandy with a name that carries a clear sense of tradition. The Valdespino name, the Solera Gran Reserva wording and the Alfonso El Sabio reference give this bottle a more distinguished identity than a standard everyday brandy.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking specifically for Spanish brandy with a classical feel. Bottled at 40% alcohol and now down to the last bottles, it has a quiet sense of scarcity without needing any exaggerated presentation.
No detailed tasting notes are provided for Valdespino Brandy Solera Gran Reserva Alfonso El Sabio. The available information confirms that it is a Spanish brandy bottled at 40% alcohol, but (…)Valdespino Brandy Solera Reserva 1850

Valdespino Brandy Solera Reserva 1850

Valdespino Brandy Solera Reserva 1850 is a Spanish brandy with a classical feel from the moment you read the label. The Solera Reserva 1850 name gives the bottle a traditional, composed identity rather than a flashy one.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of brandy that tends to interest customers looking for a recognisable Spanish name and a more established style of presentation. At 38% alcohol, it sits within a familiar strength for brandy.
As it is marked among the last bottles, it also carries a slightly less everyday character in the assortment. A calm, quietly appealing Spanish brandy built around origin, name and the Solera Reserva indication.

Valdespino Brandy Solera Sello Azul

Valdespino Brandy Solera Sello Azul is a Spanish brandy from Valdespino, bottled at 36% alcohol. The name itself gives the product its main identity: a brandy in the Solera Sello Azul line, with a clear Spanish origin.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that stands out for customers specifically looking for Valdespino brandy rather than a broadly described generic style. The indication that only the last bottles remain also makes it a more limited presence in the current selection.
No specific tasting notes have been provided for Valdespino Brandy Solera Sello Azul. For that reason, we do not describe aromas, texture or finish beyond the available product data. The confirmed information is that this is a Spanish brandy from Valdespino, (…)Valdespino Cardenal Palo Cortado Vors 37,5cl

Valdespino Cardenal Palo Cortado Vors 37,5cl
On request only
Valdespino Cardenal Palo Cortado VORS is a Spanish sherry with a very clear identity: a Palo Cortado from Valdespino, bottled in a 37.5 cl format and carrying 22% alcohol.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this sits among the more deliberate choices in the sherry range. The Cardenal name and the VORS mention give it a traditional, serious feel, without needing to dress it up with unnecessary claims.
With only the last bottles remaining, this Valdespino has become a more limited presence in the selection. It is the kind of sherry to look at when you are specifically seeking a Spanish Palo Cortado from an established name, in a smaller bottle made for careful pouring.

Valdespino Cardenal Palo Cortado Vors 50cl

Valdespino Cardenal Palo Cortado VORS is a very old, dry sherry from Jerez de la Frontera, made for slow tasting rather than casual pouring. Under sherry regulations, VORS indicates a certified average age of more than 30 years; for Cardenal, Valdespino itself states an average age of over 50 years. That long maturation is central to the identity of the wine.
Its origin is clearly defined. Cardenal is made from 100% Palomino Fino and is linked to the Macharnudo Alto vineyard, a Jerez pago with albariza soil and old vines of around 50 years. It begins with a short period of biological ageing, then develops mainly through oxidative ageing in the criaderas and solera system. The structure consists of four criaderas and one solera, with only seven botas available for this (…)Valdespino Coliseo Amontillado 37,5cl

Valdespino Coliseo Amontillado 37,5cl
On request only
Valdespino Coliseo Amontillado is a Spanish sherry presented in a 37.5cl bottle, a useful size when you want to open something distinctive without committing to a full bottle.
At 22% alcohol, it sits firmly among the more serious sherry styles, and the name clearly places it in Valdespino's amontillado line. The presentation is compact, focused and made for customers looking for a specific Spanish sherry rather than a general everyday bottle.
Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Valdespino stands out because only the last bottles remain. That makes it especially relevant for anyone who has been looking for Coliseo Amontillado in this smaller format.

Valdespino Coliseo Amontillado 50cl

Valdespino Coliseo Amontillado VORS is a very old dry amontillado sherry from the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry region of Andalusia. As part of Valdespino's VORS collection, Very Old Rare Sherry, Coliseo sits firmly in the world of deep, concentrated and saline sherry rather than light aperitif styles. It is made from 100% Palomino Fino and has undergone both biological and oxidative ageing.
The most striking detail is the age and scale of the solera behind it. The soleras date back to the end of the 19th century, and the technical information states that the solera consists of only five casks. That is exactly why, at Drankenshop Broekmans, Coliseo is presented as a sherry for quiet attention: dry, intense and shaped by long maturation.

Valdespino Contrabandista Amontillado
In stock
Valdespino Contrabandista Amontillado is a medium dry sherry from Jerez, shaped by the contrast between mature Amontillado and a small addition of Pedro Ximénez. The result keeps the nutty, lightly oxidative identity of Amontillado, but with a softer and more rounded edge than a fully dry style.
Its base is Palomino Fino, fermented dry and first aged biologically under flor. The wine is then fortified further to 18%, the flor disappears, and maturation continues oxidatively in the Amontillado solera system. A measured proportion of Pedro Ximénez is blended in afterwards to create the medium dry character. With an average age of 15 years, Contrabandista has enough maturity for its Amontillado side to come through clearly.
The name refers to the (…)Valdespino Cream Isabela

Valdespino Cream Isabela
In stock
Valdespino Cream Isabela is a sweet cream sherry from Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia. Its foundation is an old Oloroso from Valdespino, softened and enriched with Pedro Ximénez, giving the wine a style that brings together oxidative depth and concentrated sweetness.
Time is an important part of its story. The blend has an average age of 15 years and, after blending, spends a further 5 years in its own solera so the Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez can integrate more fully. That extra maturation helps explain why Isabela feels more composed than a simple sweet sherry: it is rich, dark and rounded, yet still clearly rooted in the traditional cream sherry style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Valdespino as a fine choice for anyone looking for a (…)Valdespino De Su Majestad Oloroso Vors 37,5cl

Valdespino De Su Majestad Oloroso Vors 37,5cl
In stock
Valdespino De Su Majestad Oloroso VORS is the kind of sherry that asks for a little time in the glass. It comes from Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia and carries the VORS classification, reserved for sherries with an average age of more than 30 years. In this case, Valdespino states that the wine is over 50 years old.
Made from 100% Palomino Fino and linked to Pago Carrascal, one of the classic pagos of the sherry region, this is an oxidatively aged oloroso matured through the solera and criadera system. The solera itself is notably small, made up of just eight casks, giving the wine a sense of concentration and old-bodega depth rather than everyday sherry familiarity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this 37.5 cl bottle stands out for drinkers looking for a dry, (…)Valdespino Herencia Vermouth

Valdespino Herencia Vermouth
In stock
Valdespino Herencia Vermouth has a distinctly Spanish foundation. Rather than relying only on botanicals, it begins with a blend of Oloroso Sherry aged for more than 12 years and Moscatel from the renowned Solera Promessa. The Oloroso brings mature depth, while the Moscatel adds a gentler sweetness and an elegant citrus accent.
Its aromatic side comes from a hydro-alcoholic maceration with bitter extracts of wormwood, coriander, elderflower and gentian, alongside chamomile blossom, clove, cinnamon, dried Seville oranges and juniper berries. That gives the vermouth its layered personality: bitter, sweet and spiced elements are all clearly present without losing the sherry-driven core.
The final blend is aged in casks that previously held Valdespino Oloroso. At (…)Valdespino Inocente En Rama Single Vineyard Macharnudo Alto

Valdespino Inocente En Rama Single Vineyard Macharnudo Alto

Valdespino Inocente En Rama Single Vineyard Macharnudo Alto is a fino sherry with a very clear sense of origin. It comes from Viña Valdespino in the Pago Macharnudo Alto, near Jerez de la Frontera, and is made entirely from Palomino Fino grown on albariza soils rich in calcium carbonate. The vineyard is not just background here; it is part of the identity of the wine.
Valdespino keeps close to a traditional way of working. The grapes are harvested by hand, fermentation takes place in American oak botas, and the wine is then fortified to 15% before ageing biologically under flor. The solera is more than a century old and consists of ten criaderas, with an average wine age of around ten years. That gives this fino a level of depth and structure that feels closely tied (…)Valdespino Inocente Fino

Valdespino Inocente Fino is a Spanish sherry with a very clear identity: a fino from Valdespino, bottled at 15% alcohol. The available details are concise, but they place the bottle exactly where it belongs, among recognisable Spanish sherry references.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as one of those names that naturally attracts attention from customers browsing the sherry shelves. There is no need to overstate it; the combination of Valdespino, Inocente and Fino already gives the bottle a focused character.
For anyone looking specifically for a Spanish fino sherry from Valdespino, this is a straightforward and well-defined choice.

Valdespino Inocente Fino 37,5cl
In stock
Valdespino Inocente Fino 37.5cl is a dry fino sherry from Jerez with a strong sense of origin. Its grapes come from Viña Valdespino in Pago Macharnudo Alto, a historically valued vineyard area near Jerez, planted on white, chalk-rich albariza soil. That single-vineyard background gives Inocente a particularly defined place within fino sherry.
Made from 100% hand-harvested Palomino Fino, it is fermented, according to producer information, in American oak casks before ageing biologically under flor. The solera is more than a century old and consists of ten criaderas and one solera, with an average wine age of around 10 years. With residual sugar below 1 g/l, this is a firmly dry fino with structure and a distinctly gastronomic edge.

Valdespino Inocente Rama 1.5l is a Fino from Jerez de la Frontera with a very specific sense of selection. For this bottling, winemaker Victoria Frutos and warehouse manager José Luis Monje chose particular casks from the solera layer of Inocente, the lowest and final stage where the wines continue to mature.
It is a fully biologically aged sherry, marked by the bone-dry, mineral character that defines this style so clearly. The grapes come from Macharnudo Alto, described as the pinnacle of the region, and from a single vineyard. That gives the wine a strong connection to place rather than just a general sherry profile.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Fino for drinkers who enjoy precision and depth: delicate, dry and structured, with enough (…)Valdespino La Especiale Manzanilla 2016

Valdespino La Especiale Manzanilla 2016
Very last one in stock!
Valdespino La Especiale Manzanilla 2016 is part of the vintage Manzanilla collection Valdespino began with the 2015 release. As the second release in that series, it focuses on a small group of casks selected for finesse and elegance during the first stage of biological ageing, when the flor was in full development.
Its origin is especially important. The wine comes exclusively from Pago de Miraflores, described as the Grand Cru of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. For this vintage, 30 casks were sealed in line with the Sanlúcar Regulatory Council's requirements for vintage wines. From those, a selection committee chose 12 casks for their refined, intense and elegant character. They were then blended and bottled in April 2024 as a batch of 6,060 bottles.

Valdespino Los Arcos 2022

Valdespino Los Arcos 2022 is a different expression of Jerez. Rather than a fortified sherry, this is a still white wine made from Palomino, grown in Viña Los Arcos within Pago Macharnudo Bajo. Its origin matters: the white, calcareous albariza soil gives the wine its dry, mineral backbone.
The vineyard has been certified organic since 2018. Grapes are hand-harvested and selected at optimal ripeness, then fermented in carefully chosen Valdespino sherry casks. After fermentation, the wine spends around four months on its lees, bringing a subtle rounded texture to an otherwise fresh and precise style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a wine for anyone curious about the quieter, still-wine side of Jerez. It keeps the freshness of Palomino at the (…)Valdespino Macharnudo Alto (Palomino Fino) 2022

Valdespino Macharnudo Alto (Palomino Fino) 2022
Not available for shipping
Valdespino Macharnudo Alto 2022 is a dry still white wine from Jerez, made from Palomino Fino rather than presented as a fortified sherry. Its origin is central to the wine: Pago Macharnudo Alto, a highly regarded site in Jerez, where the white, chalky albariza soils help define the style.
The grapes are harvested by hand and selected at optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place in sherry casks, followed by four months on the lees. That link with traditional Jerez cellars gives the wine its own identity, while the result remains firmly in the world of dry white wine: fresh, mineral, restrained and gently rounded.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a particularly interesting bottle for anyone curious about the still wines of Jerez. It speaks clearly of (…)Valdespino Macharnudo Alto (Palomino Fino) 2023

Valdespino Macharnudo Alto (Palomino Fino) 2023
In stock
Valdespino Macharnudo Alto 2023 comes from Jerez, yet it is very clearly not sherry. It is a still, non-fortified white wine made from 100% Palomino Fino, the grape so closely linked with the region. The fruit comes from Pago Macharnudo Alto, described by Valdespino as the Grand Cru of Jerez de la Frontera.
Its appeal lies in the way it expresses Jerez through wine rather than through fortification. The Palomino grows on white albariza limestone soils and is hand-harvested at optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place in sherry casks, followed by six months on the fine lees, bringing texture and a gentle roundness while keeping the wine dry, fresh and mineral at its core.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to customers (…)Valdespino Macharnudo Alto (Palomino Fino) 2024

Valdespino Macharnudo Alto (Palomino Fino) 2024
In stock
Valdespino Macharnudo Alto 2024 is a dry white wine from Jerez, but not a fortified sherry. It is made from 100% Palomino Fino grown in Pago Macharnudo Alto, specifically Viña Valdespino, on the white albariza soils that define this part of the region. That gives the wine a clear sense of origin rather than a generic white-wine profile.
Its link with Jerez tradition comes through in the cellar. The wine ferments in used 600-litre American oak Jerez botas and then spends around six months on the lees. The result is still dry and fresh, yet with more texture and depth than one might expect from Palomino alone.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that helps explain how broad the Jerez landscape can be beyond classic sherry. The 2024 (…)Valdespino Macharnudo Alto (Palomino Fino) 2025

Valdespino Macharnudo Alto (Palomino Fino) 2025
In stock
Valdespino Macharnudo Alto 2025 is a dry white wine from Jerez that presents Palomino Fino in a very distinctive way. Rather than a fortified wine, this is a still white wine from Pago Macharnudo Alto, described in the supplied information as the Grand Cru of the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry region.
Viña Valdespino has belonged to Valdespino since 1857 and sits at the highest point of the appellation. Around forty-year-old vines, albariza soils and the cooling Atlantic Poniente winds all help shape a wine with a precise, mineral and saline personality. The grapes are hand-picked at night to preserve freshness, then fermented in Jerez casks.
Further ageing on fine lees adds texture and depth while keeping the wine's clean, focused line intact. At (…)Valdespino Manzanilla Deliciosa

Valdespino Manzanilla Deliciosa is a dry manzanilla sherry from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, offered here in the practical 37.5 cl half bottle. It shows sherry in a fresh, coastal style: pale, dry and shaped by biological ageing under flor rather than by a heavier oxidative profile.
The Palomino Fino grapes come from Pago de Miraflores, a coastal vineyard near Sanlúcar, close to the Guadalquivir estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. After fermentation, the base wine is fortified to 15% and aged under flor in a solera and criaderas system, with an average ageing of five years in Bodega Misericordia in the Barrio Alto of Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
