Connetable Talbot 2022 is the second wine of Château Talbot, from Saint-Julien in Bordeaux's Médoc. It comes from the same estate setting, with vineyards on Médoc gravel soils near the Gironde, and gives a more approachable view of the Talbot style than the château's first wine.The 2022 blend is led by cabernet sauvignon, supported by merlot. The grapes were hand-harvested, carefully sorted and vinified in stainless steel tanks, before full maturation in barriques. That combination gives the wine a clear Bordeaux framework, while keeping the emphasis on fruit, freshness and fine tannic structure.
