The 2022 vintage was shaped by spring frost, drought and several heatwaves, yet the estate describes its white wines from this year as fine, airy and strikingly fresh. The blend is 76% Sauvignon Blanc and 24% Sémillon, harvested by hand in several selective passes. Picking for the white grapes began early, on 24 August, a detail that says a lot about the precision needed in this vintage.

La Réserve de Malartic Rouge 2019 is the second red wine of Château Malartic-Lagravière in Pessac-Léognan. The estate is classified as a Grand Cru Classé de Graves for both red and white wines, so this is very much rooted in the identity of the château rather than being a simple secondary label.
The 2019 blend is led by merlot, with cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot adding structure and detail. Grapes were hand-harvested, selected by parcel and passed over double sorting tables. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel and wooden vats, followed by around fifteen months on fine lees in French oak barrels, 25% of them new.
