Connetable Talbot 2022 Magnum is the second wine of Château Talbot from Saint-Julien in the Médoc. It offers a way into the character of a classified Bordeaux estate, with the clarity and structure associated with the left bank, presented in a style that is closer to approachability than the estate's grand vin.For the 2022 vintage, the blend is led by cabernet sauvignon, supported by merlot. The fruit comes from Château Talbot's vineyards on Médoc gravel soils. Harvesting was carried out by hand, followed by successive selections, then vinification in stainless steel tanks and full ageing in barriques.
