Clos La Gaffeliere 2022 Magnum is a red Saint-Emilion in a generous 1.5 litre bottle. It is the second wine of Château La Gaffeliere, made from its own selection and vinified separately, with Merlot taking the lead alongside Cabernet Franc.For the 2022 vintage, the grapes were hand-harvested and vinified parcel by parcel in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine then spent 12 months ageing partly in barriques and partly in tank, keeping the ripe fruit at the centre while the oak influence remains measured.
