Château La Gaffelière 2020 is a red Bordeaux from Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, made as the grand vin of a Premier Grand Cru Classé estate in the southern part of Saint-Émilion, between Pavie and Ausone. The estate has been connected with the Malet Roquefort family since 1705, giving this bottle a strong sense of place and continuity.
The 2020 vintage is built from 60% merlot and 40% cabernet franc. That cabernet franc presence is a defining part of the wine's personality, adding floral, herbal and mineral detail to the ripe merlot fruit. The grand vin comes from 22 hectares planted across limestone plateau, clay-limestone slopes and more gravelly soils at the foot of the slope.

Chateau La Gaffeliere 2021 is the grand vin of Château La Gaffelière from Saint-Émilion on Bordeaux's Right Bank. The wine comes from the estate's own vineyards around the village, with parcels on limestone plateau, clay-limestone slopes and more gravelly or siliceous soils lower down. For this vintage, the blend brings together Merlot with a substantial share of Cabernet Franc.
The 2021 growing season called for careful work. A cool start, frost pressure and an unsettled summer made parcel selection especially important. The grapes were hand-picked, cooled, optically sorted and vinified parcel by parcel in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. In the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this vintage stands out for its ripe 2022 character and the strong aromatic presence of cabernet franc.
The blend is 60% merlot and 40% cabernet franc. The fruit comes from vineyards around Saint-Émilion, on limestone plateau, clay-limestone slopes and more gravelly lower-slope soils. Harvesting was carried out by hand in small crates, followed by cooling, optical sorting and parcel-by-parcel vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats filled by gravity.

Clos La Gaffelière 2022 is the second wine of Château La Gaffelière in Saint-Émilion, made as a separate wine rather than a simplified version of the grand vin. It comes from a Merlot-led blend with Cabernet Franc, rooted in clay slopes and lower-slope parcels around Saint-Émilion.
The detail behind the wine is worth noting. Grapes were hand-picked, sorted by density and vinified parcel by parcel in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Ageing lasted 12 months, split between barriques and vats, with only a measured proportion of new oak. That keeps the focus on the 2022 vintage's fruit, freshness, spice and chalky line rather than letting oak dominate.

Clos La Gaffeliere 2022 Magnum is a red Saint-Emilion in a generous 1.5 litre bottle. It is the second wine of Château La Gaffeliere, made from its own selection and vinified separately, with Merlot taking the lead alongside Cabernet Franc.
For the 2022 vintage, the grapes were hand-harvested and vinified parcel by parcel in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine then spent 12 months ageing partly in barriques and partly in tank, keeping the ripe fruit at the centre while the oak influence remains measured.
