Château Canon 2022 Demi is the 37.5 cl half-bottle of Château Canon's grand vin from Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. It is a refined way to experience a major Bordeaux vintage in a smaller format, especially when opening a full bottle is more than the moment calls for.The wine comes from the limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion, a defining part of Canon's identity. The 2022 blend is 75% merlot and 25% cabernet franc. The growing season was dry and warm, yet the estate highlights the role of its limestone soils in preserving freshness and structure in the fruit.
Each parcel was vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, filled by gravity. Maturation lasted 18 months with 50% new oak, including four foudres. The result is presented as a concentrated and dense wine, but one that keeps tension, polish and a limestone-driven mineral impression.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this half-bottle sits naturally among the more serious Right Bank Bordeaux selections. Château Canon 2022 also received outstanding critical recognition, including 100 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate and Jeb Dunnuck. With only limited bottles remaining, the 37.5 cl format feels all the more carefully chosen.

Château Canon is a well-known winery from France, located in the heart of the famous wine region Saint-Émilion in Bordeaux. The estate covers approximately 34 hectares and is mainly planted with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, grape varieties that are typical for the region. Château Canon has a rich history dating back to the 18th century and owes its name to Jacques Kanon, a former owner who bought the property in the middle of the 18th century.
