Château Francs Magnus 2021 is a red Bordeaux Supérieur with a clear Right Bank profile: 90% Merlot supported by 10% Cabernet Franc. The fruit comes from Château Francs Magnus, a 13-hectare estate set on a limestone plateau in Bordeaux. Rather than presenting itself as a heavily built wine, this 2021 vintage places its emphasis on red fruit, freshness and fine structure.The winemaking choices reinforce that direction. After selection, the grapes are not crushed, a decision aimed at preserving fruit character. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and concrete vats, while ageing is kept deliberately moderate: 70% in vat and 30% in one-wine barriques. The oak influence is present, but it remains in support of the wine rather than dominating it.
