The 2015 vintage is built mainly around Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and small proportions of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The fruit was hand-harvested in small crates and handled parcel by parcel, even down to individual zones within parcels. That level of selection suits an estate with a highly fragmented vineyard structure and gives the wine its composed, detailed feel.

The 2020 growing season brought a very mild winter, a warm and wet spring, dry conditions from mid-June to mid-August and high temperatures in early September. The grapes were hand-harvested in small crates, parcel by parcel and even within individual parcels, followed by manual sorting. The blend is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot, with no Petit Verdot or Cabernet Franc included in the final grand vin for this vintage. That gives the wine a clearly Left Bank identity, shaped by the estate's mosaic of gravel and clay soils. Grapes were harvested by hand, sorted carefully, destemmed without crushing and vinified separately by parcel or lot before the final blend was chosen.

Château Rauzan-Ségla 2021 Demi is the Grand Vin of this Margaux estate, presented here in a 37.5 cl half bottle. It is a thoughtful format for opening a serious Bordeaux with a little more restraint, while still giving the wine room to unfold in the glass.
This is a Left Bank Bordeaux built around 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. Petit Verdot was harvested in 2021, but not included in the Grand Vin blend. That detail says a great deal about the selection behind the wine: hand harvesting, sorting, destemming and parcel-by-parcel vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.

Rauzan-Ségla is a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification, and the 2022 vintage is clearly built around cabernet sauvignon. The blend contains 72% cabernet sauvignon, 26% merlot and 2% petit verdot. Harvesting was carried out by grape variety and by vineyard zone, with particular precision in some merlot parcels where bunches from different exposures were harvested and vinified separately.
