Clos Marsalette 2022 shows the white-wine side of Pessac-Léognan: a dry Bordeaux from Martillac, made in a style where freshness, texture and discreet structure matter more than overt oak. White wine represents only a small part of the estate's plantings, which gives this bottling a more specific place within the Clos Marsalette range.The blend is 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Sémillon. Sauvignon Blanc brings aromatic lift and acidity, while Sémillon adds roundness and body. Fermentation took place in stainless steel, followed by nine months on fine lees, partly in tank and partly in oak barrels, with new wood used in a measured way.
