Cabernet Sauvignon leads the blend, supported by Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, giving the wine a distinctly Left Bank profile.The 2022 vintage was shaped by warmth and an early harvest, yet the estate describes the vineyard as resilient throughout the season. Importantly, the cellar work did not reveal an overripe aromatic style, but rather a clear fruit expression. That combination gives this wine its appeal: the concentration of a warm year with the structure expected from Moulis-en-Médoc.
The vineyards are planted on gravel and sandy gravel, with clay-limestone and clay over limestone beneath. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats, followed by around 18 months in oak barrels, with a proportion of new oak. The oak influence is described as supportive rather than dominant.
